I believe the female bosses act the way they do because of the old fashioned tradition which kept the womenfolk under the men.
In this modern era where things are changing for the better, some women consider it an exceptional feat when they occupy leadership position, and so they tend to go overboard in dealing with their subbordinates. I believe this will change with time.

Personally though, i prefer a female boss to a male one. It's weird but i feel somehow being subservient to a fellow man.

My female boss was a confused one.... But I made her feel she is right all the time. We take business from office to her home...

We work till very late. She offers all kind of delicacy's which I decline and she frowns, And she will ask me to pass the night since is really really late. (also declined)

Though tough but I survived n my check was always ready at the end of the month

We still keep in touch ....

I have monitored events within the Nigerian space, and I have come to the conclusion that the only way out is for the nations within the entity called Nigeria to either fashion how they want the entity to be structured or go their separate ways. I do not want to begin to cascade the very many injustices visited by the “State” on the same people that fund its existence. Only a dishonest or very ignorant person will say that the need to restructure the entity is not immediate.
For the regions to begin to organize themselves and evince a solution that will make them to thrive and ensure that their properties and lives are secured. Like minds must regroup, societies have evolved using this age-old system. Giuseppe Garibaldi unified Italy, leading one thousand volunteers to drive away the bourbons. I hope we do not get to that level.

It not only in d police. Even many Tertiary institutions lecturers hardly upgrade themselves.

They end up producing graduates whose reasoning is in reverse gear.

Little wonder how you still have many graduates supporting useless leaders who come with all manner of stupid promises.
