The question of whether a President is unfit to rule is a matter of fact that requires medical definition. A President is not unfit simply because he is sick. He is unfit to rule when he can no longer understand or be understood. Sicknesses, no matter how serious is not enough to remove him. Here are a few examples from the U.S as we share the same political system;

1. Woodrow Wilson President, 1913-1921; stroke during entire term

2. Franklin D Roosevelt President, 1933-1945; polio unable to walk during entire Presidency

3. Dwight Eisenhower President, 1953-1961; heart and Crohn's disease

4. John F Kennedy President, 1961-1963; degenerative bone disease

5. Ronald Reagan, 1981-1989; cancerous polyps

As it is, he has handed over to the Vice President ensuring that there is no break in government business. I think this a tired story that needs to rest. The constitution has made adequate provision for any eventuality. But the headline point is that incapacity and not illness is the only reason a President should step aside, no matter how serious the illness is.

it's because you guys are ignorant of the powers of President. The president has used his executive power and waived the requirement of appointing someone from within the career servicemen and by so doing has waived his requirement to wear the uniform.

Imagine if the Nigerian reps or senate make sure a law that forces them and executives to act on petitions like this? This will help full representation of the Nigerian masses and boycott a case where ur representatives do whatever they want. It will help accountability. This kind of thing is what should be pushed for in Nigeria. Ur voices should be heard not ignored.

They will see this as a time waste but if you check the history of America, you will know that the country got to where it is today because of its marches.


Women got the right to vote, Blacks got the right to be treated equally, and the use of nuclear weapons were stopped because of marches like this.


Americans are not like some daft people in one backwards continent who will prefer to sit in their house and call on God to fight their poverty-stricken battles.


It is because of sacrifices like this, that is why it is possible for people like you to go over there with your backwards mentality and enjoy the same rights they do.


Most of you will kill yourself to enter there. Yet you will come online to talk rubbish about people who want a better society for themselves.


They know it is not possible for trump to leave, but with this march, they are telling their leaders that you may be in power but the people still have the power over you.


But I doubt the average Nigerian will understand, we are too busy begging baba God to pick up our call.
