Your experience is not enough to put up a claim that, GLOBALLY, freelance web developers "usually" earn $8 - $16 because other people also have their own "experiences" and because the pay rate in this country will be very different from another country and also even states in a country.

Freelancing websites has made the hourly rate go very low quite alright, because of Asian developers, but that is not an indication of the global scene

Yeah, fidelity had the best rates when i checked.
The guy on the phone told me i can change without having an account with them, but when i got there it was the opposite.

Firstbank on the other hand didn't even have one single pound in the whole of Lagos. Even at there main branch.
One other policy they started is;
You must have a Naira account with them to change because they would not accept cash.
If the Naira account has a mastercard or visa, they would not sell to you because you should use the card in the UK.

The funny part is, if the account doesn't have the cards, they would issue you the card on the spot
So, logically, First bank ain't selling no foreign currency any more

GTbank on the other hand has stopped any form of PTA or BTA

Here's the problem. The visa4uk and the vfs site do not allow rebooking of appointment from the very day of the appointment and upwards.
You're only allowed to change an appointment before the appointment date.

When i experienced this last January, what i did was, book a completely new appointment on the vfs website.

Yeah, i took a pack of fries i bought in Casablanca into the final flight.
But note that you're not allowed to have in liquids in your hand luggage.

People has been saying here that most times, you don't even need an appointment to submit at Abuja.

If i am the one in this situation you guys are in right now, i'll take the risk and book a standard appointment for Abuja.

Thanks so much for this, I can now consider using them again instead of sticking with Arik only. My bias against them stemmed from negative reviews online about missing luggage or you arriving and finding out your luggage is to come with an entirely different flight! Afraid catch me for that one ah.

As long as you successfully gathered all the documents which were required of you by the UKBA, your visa will be granted. These people need your money so if you didn't lie, use fake papers and you didn't forget anything, then there is nothing to worry about. I know it is easier said than done but honestly, worrying wouldn't change anything or speed up anything. You will be doing yourselves more harm than good...

Quite good.
They left for Casablanca 10 minutes before take off and reached 20 minutes before arrival time.
They left for Heathrow 15 minutes past departure time and reached 5 minutes before arrival time.

They served tea/coffee from Nigeria to casablanca
And one kind poison from Casablanca to Heathrow
I didn't even dare to eat the food served
Though took a can of coke and one kinda kpuff from Casablanca to Heathrow

You'll not find good food in Casablanca, so you better fill up in Nigeria.
The stores that sell edible snacks wey fit hold belle doesn't accept payment cards and they spend Euro

The air hostesses do not speak English, atleast not very well, and ignorantly, they expect you to understand Arabic.
But they have beautiful legs

I slept through out the whole flights' duration though.

Remember to have something for your ears.
They will circle Heathrow for around 15 minutes and you'll wish the pilot would just nose dive the damn plane

Just take the damn card from them if you are on Tier-4 visa, cos you would need to fill it and submit at POE
But if you missed it, don't worry, they would give it to you at POE.
Have your CAS letter handy, and ofcourse, your passport.
At POE while submitting those, they would ask what you came to do in the UK (Yeah i know, it's silly)
The name of your school and the address of your campus.

If someone would pick you up at Heathrow, you better load credit on your phone to call them.
The free wifi at Heathrow didn't work.
There is also charging spots on the building pillars, so you should have your charger close in case your phone is down.

Depends. You can only be sure right now if you go to ikeja and check if your package is already there. If it's not, you contact UKVI and inquire your status

Right now, what do most lecturers do?
They don't stick to time tables.
They don't complete their scheme of work.
They don't make sure the students learn what they actually came to learn before they're promoted.
They are too corrupt, asking students to pay before passing.
They are too deep into plagiarism, copying other peoples ebooks online and selling it as there textbooks.

My friend in computer engineering, final year, doesn't know shit because the lecturers doesn't know shit.
When you churn out illiterate ignorant graduates every year, they would replace you sometime later as lecturers and destroy the educational sector

So it is not about the facility, it is about a lecturer doing his job.

But d issue is this, I couriered my application becos am presently serving in Enugu, but my friend is in Lagos. Since we submitted I didnt get any mail frm ukba that my application has been received, but she did. And then yesterday, the 26th of Aug, she got a message that her visa has been approved and ready for collection. Meanwhile I have nt received any mesage since we submitted. Tho I didnt pay for sms because I felt I wld be able to track it on their website. But unfortunately I didnt kno it"s no longer possible to track applications on the website
Also am worried becos she used a bank statement while I had a sponsorship lettrr from my local govt for full sponsorship worth 5M. We are worried nw that maybe they are not satisfied wit local govt capability of spending 5M on a student or the money is not enough. Tho I tot of adding my mum's bank statement which covered all d tuition and maintenance, but my agent adviced me not to, that since am a sponsored student, and I accepted the scholarship, that adding a bank statement will make it seem I do not trust my sponsor that is d LG. And that since it is d sponsorship lettet that I used to obtain my cas and that is what is indicated on the CAS, that it is enough evidence of financial capability. But now am really afraid since my friend's visa is ready while mine is nt since we submitted at the same time. Pls can someone advice me what they think is happening. Please sincere opinions
