Politics › Re: Gov. Rochas Okorocha To Nd'igbo Your Greed Denied Us Senate by spiralwedge(m): 11:59pm On Apr 04, 2015 |
Ymodulus: Ethnic sentiments made the igbos take the step they did.
The closest Igbo man to the incoming Government is Dr Chris Ngige Onwa.
Lets break down things to see how bad Igbos are at strategizing? They couldn’t override their pathological hatred for General Buhari to make a hedge bet and return this man to the Senate, to enhance his chances at Senate President, incase General Buhari wins, which he did.
Instead folks played tribal and religious politics to the tilt as drunken sailors, and failed the man and the chance to make history as Senate President. That’s what happens when emotions trips common sense and folks succumb to hustlers like Peter Obi and Arthur Eze, hustlers after their own interests instead of the masses they pretend to serve.
I urged caution, I pleaded that we were making a huge mistake to hitch our wagon on Jonathan who wasn’t going to win. And predictably he lost, so also our chance in the new administration.
Lets not gloat.
But maybe, maybe, only maybe he gets a good ministerial appointment, but nothing beats being Senate President.
Igbos are very bad at politics.
Fifty years after independence, they are yet to produce a president when others have taken multiple turns. Their answer is ? Blame others! If you only Hausas didn’t do this or Yorubas didn’t do that, perhaps the god of politics will bless our lot.
And sadly it won’t stop until they learn to coexist with others instead of our ‘better than thou’ attitude when dealing with the Hausas and Yorubas. They are not better than anyone.
Igbos don’t like the Hausas and same igbos don’t like the Yorubas, yet they populate their States in search for livelihood.
They should let their politics mirror their economic aspirations, not the other way around. There is no wisdom in living in the North, earning a living, yet despise the Northerners. That’s being ungrateful.
How long can this collective amnesia insulate the igbos from meaningfully seating at the table, making contributions to Nigeria’s political evolution?
How long can this foolishness go on? How long?
There is a miserable silence across the land today, because they are realizing that they were sold off for pennies by pimps who parade as Igbo leaders.
Where are they? Anyone home? The ohameze group is a disgrace and must be wiped off for the igbos to move ahead wow...I salute u first for wisdom and then for the ability to put these deep truths in one piece. please, I'm begging u to readdress this article to a national newspaper for wider coverage. Apart from the positive impact it would have, it would also announce you |

agent22: Vice president yoruba Senate president yoruba. Now we know the kind of change they r talking about. i guess u live in Togo or Congo, cos Nigeria doesn't use tribes for things like this, rather it is the geopolitical zones that are used. I bet u left home since 1993. |

googlepikin: I was on a bike yesterday and the Abokii guy asked me who did I vote for, buhari or GEJ , I said buhari. I asked him who is he going to vote for in Lagos governorship election, he said all okada association and northerners have had a meeting that they can't be deceive by APC for the third time. that they have agreed to vote for JIMI AGBAJE. it's amazing that Lagos state presidential vote was 700 and something to 600 and something thousand mind you half of those who voted for buhari have plans to vote for JIMI AGBAJE. So imagine the North, SS and SE voting for JIMI AGBAJE in dis kinda free and fair elections, then I'm sorry for tinubu , fashola and co. there will be shock in Lagos state in few days time.1,000,000 vote for JIMI AGBAJE dis coming election. am pleading to all Northerners , southerners and Easterners to come out in our millions to vote for the rightful man for Lagos state. let's all vote for JIMI AGBAJE because he's the right man. LIKE IF YOU WILL VOTE FOR JIMI AGBAJE and share if you will vote for ambode. There's no tangible reason why the man is qualified for the job more than the other one. its your choice though, but quit playing the ethnic card. Nigerians are wiser than that. Lagosians will vote competent leaders |

Christianity Etc › Re: Pastor Kumuyi To Scrap Some Church Traditions And Doctrines by spiralwedge(m): 11:39pm On Mar 29, 2015 |
noblealuu: Nope I dnt agree wit u on this, doctrines are bible-based while traditions are man-made just as in d case under review; 'women ministry and marriage committee' for instance. On the other hand, doctrines aka dogmas are e.g salvation, sanctification, baptism of the Holy Spirit, water baptism to mention a few. Doctrinal teachings are bible based and r sacrosanctly upheld by most pentecostal churches. So, doctrines dnt produce traditions! church traditions r mere administrative mantra put in place by a church leadership which differ from one church to another. why are u confusing yourself? traditions are backed with the scriptures and emanate from beliefs/ doctrines. Doctrines are subjected to exegesis of the scriptures and can change but rarely. traditions change easily but not in anyway that contradicts the scriptures |

Reading the op, I picture myself going to see my nieces, cousins, friends and relatives in their hostels if I'm in their area. Don't be misled by what ppl say.
About ten years ago, I had a cause to visit the town my best friend's sister was studying at, at least thrice a month, work related. And each time i visited her. Her boyfriend/fiancé was based abroad.
I'm sure some people who never knew her close enough would think she was my girlfriend.

Guys, i found a solution to my. problems and I felt I should b back here to share it.
Go to play store and search for Clean Master. After installation it will help you find all your junk files to delete on your instruction. it has antivirus feature and can you boost your RAM. it will suggest to you how you can further maximise storage. Again it informs you when your CPU overheats and what apps are causing it.
Sorry can't say all the features. Try it first and come back and like this post. |

I downloaded SD Maid from play store, very helpful but did not solve my prob. |

op, why are you misleading people with this half-baked info.
pls and pls resume and CV are one and same, only that the British and Australians use CV and Americans and Canadians use resume.
Lastly, your CV or resume must not be more than 2 pages if you want to be taken seriously. If you can do 1page, that would be great.
Never use your work address as advised by this misleading op. Don't use P. O. box alone either. Use a residential address - your own, your uncle, your friend. Employers want to know from where you would be coming to work.
In your CV or Resume, ensure to focus on your strength and Can-do attributes. Make it short and professional. Your dob, ur marital status, gender or your LGA are not strength. They disadvantage you, because those are interview questions. And if they are important, it would already be in the ad.
Good luck and don't forget Nigeria uses British. |

APC is the only party that gave the SE the realest chance to the presidency. If only there could be more support from there, they should be clinching that seat after the next person.
Okorocha is a progressive and I salute his courage. He is one of the kind of performing breeds you can find in APC.
The new Nigeria we want can only come from the APC. PDP to me means status quo |
