gzib: When I started searching the truth out myself in the bible and I became convinced that we will be judged by it, I put man made doctrine aside and moved on. anything any man say today that I am not convinced about, I search my bible and the by the leading of the spirit I take a stand using the bible as standard.
I pray we worship God in truth and spirit. You will not be judged by the church you attended but if you really live by the standard of God. One thing I can tell you I will be till death is a christian, but whether catholic, RCCG, Deeper Life, MFM etc is immaterial what is important is "good and faithful servant come into the kingdom prepared for you" at the end.
