Murphyenemuwe:don't worry, come 2023, you will know Him. |
The only thing that caught my attention was Atiku has been trying to be president for close to 30yrs, before many of his supporters were born. |
Murphyenemuwe:did CAN really fail? Did Abiola or Kingibe enter Aso rock? I pity those that underestimate the God of Justice. |
ElSudani:it is common knowledge. If Tinubu helps you to become a governor, you will pay a certain allocation to him monthly. Not just Tinubu though, there are many other godfathers in different states doing the same thing. I heard that was what created bad blood between him and Aregbesola . I don't know how through the story is. |
Areola14:how do you expect school fees to be cheap when schools are running on diesel that costs 800naira per litre and 1dollar is close to 600 naira. After buying diesel 800naira per litre, they will still pay tax, pay salaries, maintenance etc. Incase you don't know, many schools are currently running at a loss. They are just praying to God to help them pay salaries, till this wicked government is over. |
Happy sunday |
Despite all these people are still agitating for the same set of politicians to continue. Jehovah our Ebenezer, please come and deliver Nigerians from the juju our politicians did on them. This is 2022, we have satellite, we have drones. What is the big deal in fishing out kidnappers in a bush. How can 30people be moving in a bush and you can't send a special mission to fish them out? Believe it or not, the hands of our leaders are heavily involved in this fulani herdsmen kidnapping. By 2023, you will see them bragging KKK with the highest population, what is the use of having the highest voting population if you can't vote in someone that can guarantee your security. |
Freebills12:i hate to say this, but the only person that can stop tinubu from been the president is God. Even if he picks the ram of the sharia president as a running mate, he will still win |
Considering the havoc fulani herdsmen are doing in the country, i don't think any right thinking person from the south, Benue, plateau, etc will go under the sun to vote for a fulani man. Infact, many northerners prefer a southerner that can improve the security in Nigeria. Many Nigerians believe the only reason fulani herdsmen are rampaging the country unchallenged is because their brother is in power. Everything is not about money, this is the wrong time for any successful party to field a fulani man, but dollars didn't allow pdp have sense. Atiku that couldn't win his own Adamawa state in the last election is who they want to field. Lol. Even if Atiku picks a Bishop from the south, his failure is going to be epic. I will be impressed if PDP comes second. |
Happy new month |
Dtruthspeaker:i don't understand what you mean by re-live, they were only on transit to paradise, they didn't come back to live on earth. |
A degree especially a Computer Science or Software Engineering degree is actually very important, it can open some doors for you. You can still succeed in tecj without the degree, but be ready to work hard. |
One of the problems we faced in the Nigerian Church was lack of inadequate True TEACHERS of the Bible. Maybe because idolatry, illitracy, and poverty was high, so most of the Men of God that walked on our land were more of warfare, deliverance, miracles, crusades etc. They didn't really have the time to teach core Christian doctrines. Many Christians here are not aware of the Abraham's bosom in sheol(where the saints before Jesus were based) Luke 16:19-31, Jesus' victory over death and grave, topics like Sanctification, Justification, Resurrection, even ordinary Baptism are foreign and strange to many people here. Many of us have not been taught what really did Jesus do in the grave for 3days? Many don't even understand why Jesus even died, the implications and why he is called the Firstfruit of the dead and how the designation affects us. Concerning the death and Resurrection of Jesus, the Bible says, in Matt 51 - 53; At that moment the curtain of the temple was torn in two from top to bottom. The earth shook, the rocks split and the tombs broke open. The bodies of many holy people who had died were raised to life. They came out of the tombs after Jesus’ resurrection and went into the holy city and appeared to many people. Concerning the topic, the man is 100% correct. I don't know him, but I will search for more of his teachings. I had no idea wonderful teachers like this still exists in America. The only accurate teacher I know of in topics like this is Apostle Arome Osayi. |
pdppower:This is how it works. Sinning purposely attracts the wrath of God, it is a different thing if you fornicate with someone by falling into temptation then you repent before God and promise not to sin again, but when you have a steady partner, you go to church, you listen to sermons that tell you not to fornicate, you come back and sleep with your partner, and you repeat the pattern week in week out, at first your conscience will begin to judge, later it will be weakened and you will stop feeling guilty. However, if you turn to the Lord and repent and promise not to continue, He will forgive you, but if His wrath falls on you because of your sin and it angers him, the protection He has over you might be removed completely or partially, then the devil will have an opening to harm you, it could be an accident, sickness etc, but if you die in that sin, you will ve seperated eternally fron God. |
pdppower:No, that is been unreasonable and wasteful, doing so will only attract the wrath of God. The command is to go and sin no more John 8:11 |
Happy Sunday |
Have you ever wondered why people say Jesus died for our sins? Here's why. According to the Judgement seat of the Righteous God, the wages of sin is death(Rom 6:23) A cue to the old testament you will see death and other punishment that were to be meted on those who sinned. For instance, the punishment for adultery was to be stoned to death(Deut 22:22-24). But, God doesn't want to see people die and at the same time His rules must be met for He is a God of Justice, that was why He sent His Son, Jesus, to die for sins. Let me give an analogy, Imagine if a Principal of a School had a beautiful artifact in the school hall and he said anyone who breaks this artifact will pay 1 million naira, then, a girl from a very poor home who clearly cannot afford to pay 1million breaks it. She begins to cry and plead for forgiveness for the Principal, the Principal has no problem forgiving her, but who will pay the 1million that is the penalty for whoever breaks it. Then the Principal's son rose up, and said I will pay the 1million. The Principal agreed, he forgave her as the penalty has been paid, and the girl thanked the Son, who told her Go, your sins are forgiven, but don't sin again. Jesus, the Son of God, came as man and died for our sins, hence the person that commits adultery no longer needs to be stoned to death, in accordance with the law of Moses, because Jesus has been "stoned to death" on his behalf, someone who sinned no longer needs to carry 3 lambs and doves for sacrifices because the Blood that Jesus shed has become the lambs, doves and other animals needed for reconciliation sacrifice. Now we live by Grace of the Lord Jesus and not by Law of Moses. That is why Jesus said in Matt 5:17, Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I have not come to abolish them but to fulfill them. By His death, all the requirements, penalties were all fulfilled. What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that Grace may abound? God forbid. How shall we, that are dead to sin, continue living in it? (Romans 6:1-2). It is wrong to continue committing sin on purpose because we know if ask God for forgiveness in the Name of Jesus, He will forgive us. Imagine if the student in the story above continues breaking the artifact on purpose because she knows the Principal's son will pay for her, wouldn't that be unreasonable on her part? By the Grace of Our Lord Jesus, May we not be unreasonable Christians, but Kings and Priests who strive to do Right in the eyes of God, through the Power of the Holy Spirit. Amen. |
samlex12:This is the part that got me. The part many people are not talking about. These guys are hard core idolaters, they have been reigniting all the very demonic shrines that have been closed for years with blood sacrifices. The fact that you are a Christian is more than enough to get you killed, and, yes, their next target is the church!!! |
Prechy4naija:just calm down and finish your medicine, then you japa. Don't put the cart before the horse, to avoid regrets. |
Thinkam:the major problem we are facing in this country is the docility of good people. The average person with good intentions just want to live a quiet life minding his own business, die at an old age in peace but the truth is nature abhors a vacuum. If good people don't lead, bad people and miscreants will lead, because there must be a leader. If you don't preach peace , war will take over, if you don't preach love, hate will take over. If you know you have good intentions, try and do something for the future of this country. |
Thinkam:I joined Facebook in 2011, then Facebook used to be like a communiquè of sane , young people. 2013-2014, I started seeing Kanu's posts, before i knew it, even my relatives in the village started opening accounts on facebook, then it bagan to grow more toxic day by day, i had to leave the platform for instagram. Now, see the situation of things in the South East. Do you know how many people would have been alive if Facebook had done the needful? |
I went to a local store, and there i met two kids, i don't know what they were discussing, the next thing, one told the other, I hate yoruba people, I was like what did you just say? And, she was like i hate yoruba people. I was like why, and she answered she doesn't know. This is a girl that should be nothing more than 7!! Her mates are in coding classes preparing for the future while she is busy emitting hate. Tomorrow, she will be wondering why she is not progressing in life, how can you be emitting such negative energy and be wondering why you are not progressing? I asked where are you from, she said Kogi. Her Mother said they are Ebira. They knew i am not yoruba, that was why they had effontery to say such in my presence. The mom stood there and was listening to her little child say she hates a set of people without doing anything about it. Many Nigerians see tribalism as a norm, hate is not normal. It can never be normal. Even if our fathers did so out of ignorance, we should not make that mistake , talk more or less our kids. |
I want to sue Seun and if possible Linda Ikeji because they have allowed their platforms to be a breeding ground for tribalism and hate. Worse, it is disturbing my mental health. This is exactly how terrorism starts. People begin to sow the seeds of hatred, in 5yrs, those seeds will germinate into full blown violence, killings, discrimination, rape and deaths. Seun, do you realise how dangerous and toxic your platform is? You have a growing youth population of 16yrs and above, and you are exposing them to this high level of hatred. In the next 20yrs these young people will be in charge of different sectors and industries of the country. How will they rule effectively as full blown tribalists? You can hardly go across a thread without seeing at least five tribal banters on frontpage alone. SEUN YOU ARE BREEDING A NEW SET OF TERRORIST THAT WILL TORMENT THIS COUNTRY IN 10YRS TIME. Personally, While growing up, even up to university level, i had friends from all over the countru because i attended a Federal Government secondary school. I had both Muslim and Christian pals. I didn't even notice that we came from different tribes just few years of nairaland, i now see my friends as afonja, yoruba muslim, nyanmiri, aboki etc. At a point, i had to stay off nairaland to restore my mental health. Now I feel better, but i find it hard to read comments on front page because i don't want to be infested with this hate virus that is spreading. Do a Google search for nairaland threads between 2009-2011, you won't believe it is the same nairaland we have today. The comments are so serene and mature, no insults tribal or religious. HOW DID NAIRALAND GO WRONG? Someone started to spread hate and tribal jargons. Now it is a norm, it is well spread and it is still spreading. I need legal advice. IF SEUN DOESN'T DO ANYTHING CONCERNING THE TRIBALISM ON NAIRALAND BETWEEN NOW AND JULY 30, 2022, i will take legal actions against this platform for the sake of the future of Nigeria. If I don't see any change by June 15, 2022, i will report the Tribalism case on nairaland to the twitter community, if no change still, I will proceed to the court of law!!! I need suggestions from lawyers, like the best type of court, how much it will cost etc. You can call if free consultation, well if Nigeria is the only Father land you have and you care for the future of your children, sharing some advice on this platform is worth the sacrifice. Watch the timelines.. |
drlateef:that someone is not a Muslim doesn't mean the person is automatically a Christian. Ipobs are generally non-christians. They believe in traditional igbo religion, Chukwu Okike Abiama stuff. Even Nnamdi Kanu is not a Christian, he denounced it and preaches against it, he believes in judaism. Ipobs generally are traditionalists and judaism practitioners. That's why they threatened Kumuyi, these days they can even kill you for been a Christian, I hope they won't start attacking churches next. |
Happy Sunday everyone. May God's Grace and Mercy be upon us today. |
tamboza123:All these you mentioned are under the old law (Law of Moses). That is why Jesus came to die for our sins. The blasphemer, adulterer etc that ought to die, Jesus has died already for their sins, so now we don't need to kill anyone, Jesus has been killed on their behalf, all they have to repent and ask God for forgiveness in the name of Jesus that died for them. That is why Jesus said, I didn't come to abolish the law but to fulfill it. He has fulfilled all those laws by taking the death penalties for us. The work of the old testament is to make us fully appreciate the saving Grace of Jesus, because we get to see the Law of Moses which we cannot obey because of its stringent demands. |

Maybe at your church. Many churches experienced tremendous growth, spiritually and in popularity, because many took their online presence very seriously. Now, people from mainly U.S, Canada and East Africa, syream their services online through YouTube and mixlr |
Vices of Sexual Immorality a. Separation from God Sexual immorality separates one from God and opens the door for demonic entrance and activities. Just as Adam was afraid (instead of been ashamed) when he disobeyed God, so, those the guilt of committing sexual immorality makes one feel afraid before the presence of God. The fact that you even feel guilty means your conscience is still alive. Continuing, persistently in sin will deaden your conscience and you will no longer feel guilty after committing sexual immorality. It is time to repent, ask God for forgiveness, and ask for His Grace not to sin again. b. Abortion Abortion (killing of infants) is murder. Don't have the blood of the innocent in your hands because of few minutes pleasure. The blood of Adam spoke against his brother and so can the blood of that child speak against its parents. Both the male and female who consented to commit abortion are guilty. Also, do not assist anyone get an abortion, as not to be an accomplise of sin. Repent today and be saved. c. Diseases There are high chances of procuring diseases like STDs and HIV through sexual immorality. Diseases you would never suffer if you didn't sin. d. Aborted dreams Many men and more especially, women have had their careers, ambitions and dreams torn down and utterly destroyed because of few minutes of sin. Don't let your life be a case study of how destructive sexual immorality can be. e. It leads to more sin Sin begats more sin. From fornication to lying to stealing to satisfy your partner to abortion (murder) or even killing your partner during an altercation. Turn to God, He is Merciful and you can obtain Mercy from Him |
Abagworo:where did it happen? |
