Nigerian singer and one time Lagos State University (LASU) student, Bella Shmurda has caused ruckus online after he seemingly tried to justify internet fraud commonly known as 'yahoo yahoo'.

The singer who rose to fame with 'Vision 2020' was a guess on Echo Room and he was asked what made him decide not to venture into internet fraud.

Bella Shmurda who seemingly didn't know the right answer to give at first asked the host, Quincyjonze 'what is internet fraud', which the latter responded 'yahoo yahoo' to.

The singer first replied 'because I no know am', implying because he didn't know it, but Quincyjonze had already asked another question 'or you do am?' which Bella laughed at and proceeded to claim at a point in one's life, one has to do certain things.

Bella Shmurda then went on to lament the state of Nigeria at the moment and how people had to resort to fraud to be able to measure up to their mates. He also pointed out that people were growing up and don't want their children to suffer - seemingly justifying the act. Watch video;

Ligue 1 giants, Paris Saint Germain (PSG) are set to release a music album titled "ICI C'EST PARIS" and Nigerian stars Omah Lay and Ckay among other stars will feature on the album.

Ckay and Omah Lay have been stand out Nigerian artistes in recent years and their efforts hasn't gone unnoticed world wide.

YBNL Nation boss and Empire music act, Olamide Adedeji aka Badoo has finally unveiled the tracklist to his soon to be released album, UY Scuti.

Earlier this year Olamide revealed he’ll be releasing a new album titled ‘UY Scuti‘, just few months after he released Carpe Diem.

Days later, Olamide released Rock which is off the album that will be released on June 18th. The rapper has now released the full tracklist.

The album contains 11 tracks, with friend, Phyno the only notable act. The other featured acts are Jaywillz (who was on Olamide’s 999 EP), Fave and Layydoe. Fave was featured twice.

A Sierra Leonen lady has come out to reveal self-acclaimed African Giant, Damini Ogulu aka Burna Boy cheated on her with Stefflon Don and after two years of keeping silent, she’s decided to come public.

The Academic Staff Union of Universities are currently in a meeting with the federal government as regards the calling off of the 8 months nationwide strike.

Recall ASUU had through it's Twitter page announced that they had been summoned for a meeting by the Minister for Labour but won't attend because it came via text.

However, a new tweet from the account announced they're in a meeting at the moment as the meeting started at  11:51am and the technical session was opened at 12:10pm

The tweet read;

The meeting started at 11:51am with the Labour minister, Chris Ngige presiding.
Mr Ngige declared the technical session of the meeting open at 12:10pm."

Big Brother Naija Season 5 housemate, Kiddwaya seemingly got tired of Nengi’s clinginess to him earlier today and fended her saying she was too vain

Kiddwaya was sitting on his bed when Nengi came to him, Kidd then asked her “what did I do now”, pushed her, and told her to go away, Nengi refused. A frustrated Kidd then called on Ozo to come and carry her away.

Nengi refused then he moved and told other male teammates he wants “that girl” to go first before they continue talking.

The world was thrown into mourning early yesterday when news of the Hollywood actor’s death broke and fans around the world are still mourning him.

However, a video of Chadwick trying to avoid giving spoilers in an interview and repeatedly saying “I’m dead” has resurfaced sending shockwaves amongst fans.

In Avengers: Infinity War, Black Panther was one of half the world’s population that was wiped out by Thanos and ahead of Avengers: Endgame back then Boseman decided to keep his mouth shut during press interviews to avoid spoilers.

In the red carpet interview with Access, when asked about Boseman’s future with Marvel, he simply said, “I’m dead” and continued saying it many more times.

I beg to disagree though. The album is quite interesting for a dancehall genre, it's not much appreciated here in Nigeria, furthermore there's been a rapid release of album in the previous days, hence attention for his album was always going to be small.


Even Tiwa Savage released an album same day, despite Nigerians berating her, its an R&B album not a Burna Boy Afrobeat or Afro fusion.

All in all, the music appeals to different listeners.
