Giroud had a goals per games ratio of 0.42. In simple terms that means he would be scoring 42goals in 100 games. In comparison, Adebayor will score 43 in 100; while van Persie will score 47. The only person out of that class will be Henry who will score 60 or Lacazette who will score 36. Based on the evidential analysis above, no one should call Giroud useless. Call it amala or whatever delicacy that irritates you, it remains fact.

First of all, this argument is not about Giroud Vs RVP. It was some of us that brought that up out of desperation simply because I brought out stats of main strikers for Arsenal which even included Henry, Adebayor and Lacazette. So why are they not comparing Giroud with Lacazette why RVP? That's because they want to score a cheap point.

The argument is whether Giroud was useless playing for Arsenal and I brought up stats to prove that he wasn't useless as suggested by haters. Someone that has similar stats with RvP and Adebayor cannot be classified as useless irrespective of how we hate him.

If it was Chamarch, we'll Ok. But please not Giroud.

No body is arguing their levels of quality but as far as their stats show (for Arsenal only as Jodera demanded) their figures are not world apart as some of you may want to force us to accept and the stats is only in games they actually participated not when they were injured or didn't feature at all. You guys don't even think. I was expecting your line of argument on the stats to be that RVP didn't play for Arsenal at his peak. Most of his games were when he was young and still growing. He barely gave us two full seasons. Most of the goals he scored were during those two seasons. Unlike Giroud who played for us during his peak years. This was the reason I agreed with Davep that stats are indicative not conclusive.

Havertz role is the control of spaces on the left which brings a level on dominance and creates spaces for Martinelli or attack from that area. That is the role of the LAM in that Arteta formation, which was also the role Trossard played but to little effect. So far, Havertz have shown that he is the best we have in that position for now. It was based on this that I said that we would have done better if he played as I saw that we weren't succeeding with our tactics despite our high possession 76% and shots on goal 30 (stats again).

However with that tactics still not working against Fulham as we were struggling I felt that Arteta could have in that moment assigned Havertz a striking role inside the box to challenge for headers. All these na permutations.
