I've been screaming for wingers or players with ability to drive the ball forward,dribble, run at opposition and fearless, I see this traits in yanick and Suarez and my Arsenal are delaying the deal for city and Chelsea to hijack, that's how we missed Kante and wanyama for xhaka,it still hurts till date..
Its better we stop dreaming and admit we are gona languish in 5th/ 6th for long..

City and l.pool invested over 100M in mahrez,larpote and Van dijk/ Alison respectively, and we think we can compete struggling to cough out 50 for 2 good players who can move us up.

Well, I maintain that getting in 2 world class,fast,dribbling, running wingers beside Auba or Laca( as CF) will get us unlocking defence and goals..

Ozil is my real G,but this current premier league isn't for him,he will thrive In a barca,PSG team,where brain and techniques is a major requirement .

We need to move on him with a fekir,Alcantara,depay,Tolliso,carzola,isco or any hardworking,strong,with good shooting ability ..who will be a constant menace to the opposition defence.

Leicester didn't win the league with big name players, rather with Rugged men,running, tackling, shooting and dieing on the pitch.

Also Xhaka,Elneny,Kolasinac are not mobile enough, they need to watch how robertson,nabi keita and winaldum runs all day.

We can still manage mustafi,holding,sokratis,bellerin and monreal...the defence is still fair enough.

My frustration is our attack, Good wingers with any of our strikers at CF position is enough to kill games at half time..

Hopefully, Emery gets supported with funds over the next few season, else I'm outta this FC.

When is the last time Emery got the team selection right? Fu*king Elneny is better and more experienced than Xhaka at CB. Our best MF combo is Xhaka and Torreira. Mkhi is shit and Iwobi is barely better, only play the latter. Use Mesut fucking Ozil.

Hope Emery steps it up. This is the period that ruins our seasons and it is looking exactly the same. Big days ahead.

I think you need to look at it from another angle.
All the teams above us play high and quick pressing football, where even the forwards are very much involved in getting the ball back and keeping the opponents away from our goal.

Bayern, Barcelona and PSG play the same.
This is the way modern football is, but Wenger failed to adapt, and it seems Mourinho is also failing to do so. Fortunately Emery is going to implement it.

Our attacking players from the Wenger era not used to it, and Mkhi can’t do it well either. Some may learn after some time, but some probably can’t learn (Ôzil, Ramsey, Mkhi and others), and for those, we will have to get some replacements.
I think, Emery is trying to do as best possible until then by starting matches with more defensive midfielders and then substituting to get more attacking power in the second half, when opponents are tiring. It has worked reasonably well.

The match against Southhampton was special because we have so many injuries in the back line, that we had to play players there, who aren’t even defenders. Emery tried to protect them with a more defensive midfield. It didn’t work.

Our backline & goalkeeper had a really bad ay, and actually for their second goal, it was partly down to Iwobi, who could have put pressure on the player providing the cross, but Iwobi was just walking around.

He's golden. His long passes accuracy were a disturbance to the defenders cos it was making football easy with the usual midfield tussles the rough epl is known for. That I noticed and it gave him high ratings in his 3 epl games and the Europa too. Then I noticed he stopped it altogether, which means such an order of discipline came from the coach himself. Else Guendozi would just be assisting from his DM position direct. Put in a team with better fire power like Man City, Bayern and I tell you, at this very age, he would be the highest assist king in that league.


Thus is no hype. You have to just adapt to what the coach wants. Emery uses him to draw out a sitting defence.
