Anywhere can be your home. Home is where the heart is. No matter where I de for this earth, Naija is still my home and I’ll invest more there than anywhere else. For yankee, you mess up your mortgage, your house enter foreclosure straight.
there’s an option. You can sell, get your equity and waka.

How did you start?
well, just from visiting friends in other areas, in their university campuses etc. it was fun and I had an adventurous spirit so it came naturally. Different states, crossed the border in Benin republic, that was the major start…then things took off along with my life. Don’t know if that helps

That "do it for your kid" is a myth. You are not rich, you children will be going to the local schools. Their classmate are going to be sons and daughters of Jamaica gangster, Mogadishu warlords, Albania pick pocketers grin
The teachers are scared to come to class, so their education will suffer. You don't have £250 a month for extra tuition for your kids.
Let's hope they don't join a gang and settle their differences with stabbing.

You are doing it for yourself!
your reality is different from mine, if you doubt, let’s see our profiles on LinkedIn or other media before we proceed to interact physically, so you will really understand that if that’s your perception, then that’s what you are gonna get.

@oldienavie you see the emotional blackmail card that @Foodqueen talked about earlier ba @bolded undecided...

Madam favvy fyi...
The OP didn't make her lose anything, SHE DECIDED TO THROW AWAY WHAT SHE HAD...

And she did that by cheating on the OP whilst they were dating and by cheating with the OP whilst she was in another relationship undecided...

What y'all ladies don't understand is that sleeping around and/or cheating in the long run will hurt you undecided...

The guy you cheated on won't want to have anything to do with you and the guy you cheated with, will reconsider his decision to building something long lasting with you (just as it is with the OP) undecided...

So play all these emotional card BS, it won't change anything!!! undecided...

And if you're still wondering @italics, then it's either you didn't take time to read and comprehend the write up of the OP or you don't see anything wrong with cheating and sleeping around undecided...

Either ways, it tells a lot about your kind of person undecided...

@OP...
I won't suggest you marry her (unless God Himself tells you to)...

Cause if she can cheat on (and with) you in the past, what makes you think she can't do it again now? What's the assurance?

And besides that, are you aware of the baggage(s) that single mothers go around with? Has she dealt with them? Or can you handle them without complaining?

Thus...
If you know you don't intend to marry her, then don't even bother sleeping with her, cause if you do, she will DEFINITELY play the emotional card, just as the fellow I'm quoting is doing right now undecided...

Go somewhere and find yourself a wife...
But if you intend to marry her (which I don't advice), then go ahead and make things official undecided...
I am not saying OP should marry her o; but if he DOES marry her, she will never repeat the same mistake because of the position she is in and facing right now.

I dont think this is true. Maybe for the UK. But for US I doubt. I have not been there, I live in Brazil, what I know is that it's quite difficult for African ladies to get a guy here.

But I can tell you the women here are on fire and they love black guys.

In Brazil if you don't have sense, the small one you get, sex go comot am. You literally have to hold yourself and be focused. Girls too much and too fine and na them go come meet you self lol

I don’t know why people keep saying that people staying abroad are sex starved.
There are stages to the game and hustle if you live abroad. If you are still tryna figure out your papers and work to get money to make it happen, where will you even see the time or energy to pursue sex.
Now, if you have figured yourself out and you are in a place like the US, cities like Houston, Dallas, Atlanta, New Orleans and the like for instance where there are also a good percentage of blacks, who told you you won’t have sex?

Omoh akata love sex plus they are good and sexy too.

The only difference is that unlike Nigeria where most people have a lot of free time to be pursuing sex, people actually work here for at least 8hrs to get your bills paid. So after work, if you have strength go and pursue sex cos there are people out there to that have the time and wanna seek the pleasure too.

It’s pathetic that home based folks actually believe this.
Lol I don’t wanna delve into details when it comes to that kind of lifestyle but most people don’t actually have game and because of the economic hardships in nigeria and they pick low hanging fruit thinking they have game.

It’s game time abroad, if you don’t have the it…sorry Konji will be your first name cos you no fit do anyhow,
Popo go carry you shaperly

I always tell people that japa is not for the poor. It's the middle class that can actually afford to relocate. Right now it's all about herd mentality. Many are like a bull going to the slaughter house. No concrete plan.

I actually wish them goodluck. They will sweat and grind for every penny. Nothing is given freely.

Whilst I know the country failed them, I also know that this is second slavery. The West don't need guns and mirrors anymore, they just need to dangle visas and tweak their policies a little and our best hands will run and go slaving for them, whilst their citizens idle away and enjoy the fruit of our peoples hardwork. Just like the days of old.

The West got this advanced with the sweat of Africans and other less developed nations. They're still doing same till date. It's pathetic.
don’t know about this but doing 2 remote six figures jobs doesn’t sound like slavery to me lol. I love it and can come and flex or invest in naija if I choose. So… :/

Na wah! I don’t understand people o…there are lots of places to socialize, go out there if you feel lonely. Register in a gym, go to social gathering and events in hotels, conferences, go to clubs, go shopping, go watch a movie, go to a coffee shop, go to skating, reading club, dating apps and hook up. People are just being lazy to socialize, put it some efforts. It’s not like naija where you grew up and have folks you grew up with all over you.

It is, depending on where you go.

America

Pros- ultimate destination. Your connection net go wide well well. Your knowledge go increase exponentially, your ability to go other places go easy,

Cons - e hard like everywhere else, one crime fit mess you up for years, street violence is very real and under reported,

UK and Canada and Australia

Pros - almost like America but a little less capacity

Cons - smaller cities than America and crowded because of size...

Middle east
Very wicked without empathy. But good money compared to Nigeria. Education or training is mediocre compared to Europe or America

Africa
Just like Nigeria, maybe a little more disciplined, more principled, less criminals than Nigeria. They still have some mumu mumu policies and cultures like Nigeria.

Asia, india, latin America are a mixture of the rest. Like Chile, is nice.
you right bro! In America, make sure your record is clean and the sky is your limit!
If you mess up your record, you don begin get issues lol

relocated around same time, was rough initially but with God and hardwork, it’s worth it so much now. All these people talking about kpako house abroad, loneliness and mortgage don’t seem to know jack about the system abroad. Yes, you pay mortgage to own a house, so what! If you are tired of paying mortgage, you can like sell the house next day and people are rushing it buy it and you will make profit on top plus the equities you have gathered from not paying rent instead you are paying mortgage. So let’s say equity of 5 years/at 1k (usually more than that) accumulates to 12 x 5 = 60k, plus the profit you would have made from profit of the house appreciation. You can either, go buy a new house and start paying mortgage again hoping to sell or take your money and go back to Nigeria and build yourself a house.
They keep talking about loneliness, I just laugh because, you can go to various clubs, social events etc and mingle so how is that lonely. People married with kids, are they lonely too?
Also don’t forget, they are still Nigerians, if I tire,I carry all my money come back to naija na.
You go pursue me?
Living abroad gives you OPTIONS (from work, healthcare etc) people living in Nigeria will never most likely have.
As for people thinking Nigerians abroad all wash dead bodies, I just laugh…look while looking for papers you might do those things but when you get it, the doors open and you will do respectable remote 6 figure jobs and live your dream.
Abroad is not prison, if I tire, I come naija flex like a month or 2 or 4 and go back and hustle. People live like that too.
Life is not all about flexing na.
We work and flex, living in naija won’t make you have such opportunities . So don’t be afraid to migrate. I was afraid at first becos I did not know one single person but now my connection reach number one person for the country. No lie!
Will it have been possible in Naija?

So much misinformation on Nairaland and that's why you shouldn't seek help medical help from general forums.

Reperfusing the leg would only work if the tissue was alive not necrotizing. And even then success rates are low.
The onset of gangrene is a tell take marker that necrosis has already occured/is occurring.
so what’s the misinformation there? Just gave a general opinion

Abroad they would have let a vein from another part of the body to flow through that leg until it’s stabilized and it won’t have to be amputated but it will be very expensive. However I think you should go online, watch some of dr Jason fung videos on YouTube, read the diabetes code and also the obesity code. It’s gonna help your mum if you guys can practice some of the therapies recommended therein. Good luck

Eyes, neck, legs and stomach. They all appear puffed.
We have done all kinds of test and treatment, nobody has been able to diagnose the nature of the sickness.
There is no pain whatsoever, just swellings especially after a nap.

Also he sleeps more than usual.
There was a period it went down for like 3 months.
But now we are back to it again.
He is having difficulty in breathing because of the throat swellings
I will be attaching some of the drugs he is using.
And will be available to answer questions.

Pls ignore the typos here.

He should go on YouTube and follow people like dr Jason fung, dr Eric berg and there’s a lady called Katherine that specializes on kidney issues. Whatever the case maybe, I think he should start with his diet…I would have recommended some basic tips that will help but I know there are lots of doubting thomases here that will start countering and discouraging you guys so I won’t do that here. If you are interested in the tips, dm me… it very easy and won’t even cost you a dime. Your brother will be better by God’s grace if he can do what’s recommended.
Health / Re: My Experience After Drinking 2 Glass Of Water Every Morning.. by SpyChild: 12:48pm On Sep 13, 2021
Zooposki:

You are right but might also be due to further reducing the low blood sugar in the morning, so a sugary drink is even more effective, unless you are really thirsty, then a small amount of water can quench that thirst.

I believe what you are trying to refer to here is called “dawn phenomenon” and it doesn’t reduce blood sugars in the morning, rather it is meant to increase blood sugar as your liver releases some sugar in preparation for you to start your day.
Taking sugary drinks in the morning has not correlation to passing out excess urine in the morning as a result of drinking lots of water.
Another phenomenon that can explain this is the osmosis experiment if you can remember the analysis. Water moving from a higher concentration to a lower concentration.
The electrolytes in the body is low thereby in order to balance it, what have to move out, on the contrary if one takes lots of salt like Himalayan salt for example, then the body will retain the water as it has enough electrolytes to balance it.
It’s a simple experiment that can be carried out using a hollow tuner of yam and adding salt into it and a little water and see how the water moves away into the lower concentration and vice versa.
Same applies to the body

Health / Re: My Experience After Drinking 2 Glass Of Water Every Morning.. by SpyChild: 11:33am On Sep 13, 2021
The reason you are urinating a lot is because your body is trying to balance the electrolytes in your body. The electrolytes is made up of sodium, potassium, magnesium amongst other trace minerals.
If you drink water more than your body requires, it will make you pee in order to balance the electrolytes in your system. If you want to stop this from happening you can take some Himalayan salt as it has lots of these traces minerals, then the ratio of electrolytes to water in your system will be balanced.
Basically if ya better to drink water when you are thirsty and not just when you feel like to avoid losing electrolytes from excess urinating.

Health / Re: Is There Anybody Here With Irregular Heartbeats? by SpyChild: 12:52pm On Jun 04, 2021
You have electrolyte imbalance.
You should buy pink Himalayan salt, take half teaspoon and mix it in water, you will see the difference. You should also look for magnesium supplement, buy avocado pear and some other multivitamins and take them and see how it will disappear. I have experienced such before and the moment I took half teaspoon of Himalayan salt mixed in a little water, I felt great. You will feel a kinda warm sensation on your chest and feel wonderful.
The issue is you take a lot of sugar previously and it has been knocking out your electrolytes and has made it imbalanced as you have been probably excreting a lot of salts, chromium, magnesium and potassium out of your system and this will cause the symptoms you just described.
But with you replenishing your nutrients intake with what I just mentioned, you will be fine.
I have also experienced such.
Take care

What happens abroad is plenty. Allow them settle down before you start judging them. Some are going through things they can’t talk about publicly in order to get their stance in those foreign land. Telling some folks about their travails only for some of them to discuss their issues in beer parlor and makes jokes about it or use it against them is not necessary.
It’s better, they sort themselves out first, then they can now chat you or gist you when the travails are over if you still hang in there and be a good friend like you say you are.
Some friends don’t know boundaries and will want to ask you personal questions even on social media, not knowing the possibility of your friends account might be monitored and these people will implicate someone and ruin their plans whether intentionally or not.
Give people space to sort themselves Out first b4 you judge, then they will reach out.
It’s not a joke, it’s a matter of life and death and the stakes are usually very very very high.
Make it or fail miserably, if you have gone that far, seen prospects, you can’t afford to lose cos you wanna run your mouth with friends.
Best option is Silence till you make it.
