Wotowotoman: Last time to see Pep doing what he knows how to do best It's a good thing he is leaving. He no longer has that technical prowess that made him (and Mancity) a terror to Arsenal and Liverpool. If Pep had been the Pep Guardiola we knew 2-3 seasons ago, Man City would have taken the lead by at least 5 points as far back as March. I hope Maresca is still [technically] sound enough. The Maresca, who defeated an in-form PSG team [UCL winners], then clinched the FIFA Club World Cup [against all odds]. It is actually interesting to note that both Maresca and Arteta were once assistants [and students] to Pep Guardiola. If wishes were horses, I would want Pep to help coach this pathetic Super Eagles squad. Giants Urchins of Africa that couldn't qualify for the World Cup in two successive attempts. Even after increasing the African slots from five to ten. |

aalangel: Marry her. Your own sins might be plenty too. What do you mean by my own sins? I was sincere and honest with her, every step of the way. I finally called off the trad wedding. It wasn't an easy decision to make. Although I took few weeks off work and personal life. Travelled to a remote location and turned off any mode of communication. To reminisce on my life and choices. I still have feelings for her though. *sobs* Thank you all for your comments, encouragement and advices. |
Romance › True Story: Claimed She Was Virgin, Rushed Engagement by SQLmastar(op): 5:51pm On May 10 |
Please house, I need mature advice. This matter is tearing me apart.
I met this lady (a doctor) 4 months ago. I'm 35, she is 31. She told me she was a virgin and I believed her because of how she carried herself. I was very happy and rushed everything – introduction, engagement, and marriage plans (I promised my mum that I would get married before December 2026). We were supposed to do our traditional marriage in one week’s time.
Last week, I received an anonymous WhatsApp message. The person sent pregnancy test results showing that my fiancée was pregnant for her ex-boyfriend during her 1-year residency. She had told me about this ex, but said they never had sex, and that was why they broke up. I confronted her with the message. At first, she denied it and said it was fake, someone trying to spoil her name. But when I said I would call her best friend to confirm, she broke down and confessed the truth. She admitted she got pregnant for the ex, aborted it immediately, and promised herself never to have premarital sex again. She said she was ashamed and didn’t want to lose me, so she lied about being a virgin. Now I’m confused and heartbroken. I love her but the lies are too much. On the other hand, I have already invited many people – including the chief of my village and my manager at work. Cancelling now will bring serious shame and talk in my village and workplace.
Please Nairalanders, what should I do? Should I go ahead with the marriage or cancel everything? Has anyone been in this kind of situation?
I need honest advice.

Spoil my small over two point five Mancity doesn't deserve this EPL title. Unfortunately, Arsenal are under a curse or something. I wish Liverpool were in form to claim this title. Cherki and Savinho are too docile most times. |

At the OP, this life is spiritual. You need to align yourself with the elements of life, else you will derail till eternity. Come to me DM, and I'll give you a bathing soap for success.
1. Gave Osimhen his soap when he turned 19 and look how he is thriving... 2. I gave Wizkid a leaf soap, mixed in cat urine, now he is a star. 3. I even prayed for Elon Musk when he was a mere millionaire; now look where he is. |

If CIV want to be back in this tie, then they must pull one back before half time....so far their defense is utter rubbish!! From your mouth to the field. |

Forget the fact that they did not qualify for the World Cup; what Eric Chelle has done for this team is unbelievable. They are flat track bullies and can beat any team in the world right now. They are playing in Beast Mode and the team is too strong, experienced, confident and very tough to beat! No team in this AFCON will pray to meet them. Fly Super Eagle, Flyyyyy!!!! bentenny: Aside the three goals scored, there was no pattern of play! Just pass pass pass and pass! No collective counterpressing! I have said it and I will keep saying it...as good as Gravenbach is,he is no defensive midfielder! Play Endo in that position until you get a DM by January but overall, there is no intensity and no pressing once again! I have said it before that this controlling stuff will come to bite us..... Once again Slot has tried but we have to admit that this style of play doesn't suit the players and since he can't change, then he should go! If you can't get Klopp to salvage this season, get an areola or zidane! Aside the 3 goals scored? No pattern of play? Why do you want to keep a whole 3 goals aside just so your agenda would agend? Liverpool had a pattern of play. They took a 2goal lead. And even scored a third goal to restablish their lead. It was unfortunate that Leeds equalised in controversial circumstances. There was a handball on CalvertLewitt prior to the Tanaka goal. |

I hope they win city today so they can be guaranteed of an European slot If you like don't go and ask Arteta to seek counsel from teams that won EPL back2back, even with injury woes.
