I went to see a friend today, unfortunately, when I called her, she told me that she was not around, then I decided to stroll back home; on my way home, lo and behold! This is what I saw! A family of four: 'papa, mama, senior pikin, and junior pikin' carrying dirty sack bags on their heads, immediately, my curiosity was aroused! Then I said let me trail these guys and see what they were carrying, and where they were going! After trailing them for a long distance/ journey, then I discovered that they were scavengers! In awe, and disbelief, I'd exclaimed and asked myself!...a whole family scavenging in order to survive?

Suddenly,I began to notice how some guys were showcasing and boasting about how they have made it in life.....Some were even posting pictures of their expensive cars and beautiful houses....I was really happy for them,at least for seeing those whom I grew up with making it to the top...It actually gave me joy as I hoped to make it like them someday too


But then again,what really killed my joy was when one of them started to call out the names of those who used to take from the first to third positions in class ...The annoying part was that he sent it via voice note and was like mocking us about not being successful yet like those of them who were considered as the dullards back then in school.....I felt really pissed off😡. The fun was brutally murdered instantly and I began to notice how many people started to exit the group one after the other 😔. I wasn't left out cuz I also made sure I dusted my shoes and left too before they would post the pictures of me riding my keke ...what was supposed to bring us together only ended up disintegrating us further and made us felt like we were losers . As a matter of fact, I've vowed never to be a member of any WhatsApp group from henceforth . Cuz it seems these guys are only out to add more pains to people's depression

Was David Abioye Spiritual Prowess Being Stifiled Under Oyedepo All These Years?

Despite hearing the name David Abioye for several decades, (which wasn't unusual being the second in command to David Oyedepo founder and GO of winners chapel), it was only recently after his forced retirement from the church, that I got to know what he looked like and also what he sounded like, and I must confess that in the few times I have heard him speaking, I have already been impressed with his level of spiritual depth and understanding.

It's profoundly strange that this was someone that was serving under David Oyedepo for so many years, yet I have never felt the same way about David Oyedepo despite hearing him preach countless times, including when I was still a member of CGM, and attended several annual conventions when he was invited as a guest speaker.

Even while I was yet a sinner and wasn't as spiritually discerning as I am now, but could still discern spiritually deep preaching and teachings from those which were shallow, I have never been impressed with Oyedepo's preaching or teaching, how much more after I have not only got saved but also born-again and begun to walk at the highest level of spiritual walk where it was all about God?

Yet I heard David Abioye speaking only a few occasions and was wondering if he was really the same person that was with Oyedepo all these years or if it was someone else.

It was indeed baffling and made me wonder if David Abioye's spiritual prowess and impact wasn't stifled all these years, and if it wouldn't have been much more beneficiary to God's Kingdom had he parted ways with the church much earlier, especially considering the way his loyalty and service to Oyedepo was being rewarded with retirement when he still had so much more to offer in the work of the kingdom.

He also appears to be thinking along these lines considering that he has already launched his own ministry shortly afterwards, so could it a case of waiting too long before doing the needful?

That said, understand that men of God are only vessels that ultimately transmit God's Word to us. Not every man of God is called to be your pastor, even within the same church.
