Religion / Re: Similarities Between Pastors And MMM Top Guiders by stallion2: 6:34pm On Dec 20, 2016
drsugar:
Why Pastors Are Similar To The Top Guiders Of MMM

MMM and the Christian tithing system are very comparable.

The pastors are similar to the top guiders of MMM in many ways.

1. They make the rules about money donations by members just like mavrodi

2. They decide where and how to spend this money and who to take or use what, not God just like mavrodi

3. The profits made from the investments of this money donated by members are regarded as personal profits as is the case of covenant university and many others like that. This is similar to what MMM top guiders were doing with other people's money before it crashed.

4. Financially, they benefit more from member's donations than the actual people donating.

5. They keep on telling their people to keep donating even if they don't get any tangible thing in return. They say keep having endless faith.

6. When something bad eventually happens to money donors, they absolve themselves of all responsibilities despite being the greatest beneficiaries of the donations just like Chuddy Uborji and friends and friends are doing now.

7. They blame eventual problems on lack of faith by the donors of offerings and tithes, or call it the will of God just like Mavrodi blaming it on people GHing too much and the media and government.

These are just a few similarities between pastors and top MMM guiders.

The only difference in that the MMM of pastors doesn't crash unlike that of Mavrodi.

Our pastors are the real MVP Guiders. SHALOM!!!

Investment / Re: Prediction And Analysis On The Future Of MMM - Cramjones by stallion2: 10:49pm On Dec 16, 2016
cramjones:
As always, I would comment on contemporary issues that affect the Nigerian populace. All for love of Nigeria. Even though I believe that Nigeria as it stands is close to a failed state, we can all do more through visionary leadership to emancipate our country from the cesspit that has gutted it. That said, I have followed closely the MMM phenomenon since it came to my attention, and as it is normal of my analytical mind, I have taken time to study the trend, review historical facts, and all other data available to me. After this review I have therefore, come to the following conclusions on the fate of MMM.

1. For those that are hoping MMM would suddenly resurface in January because the Nigerian planter's wife said so in a note, are definitely setting themselves up for depression. Nothing of such would happen. This is the deal, MMM is not an investment it is a gamble. The money is only redistributed therefore the system would crash when two conditions occur - something that has already taken place - and these conditions are as follows:

-When new comers or "help providers" exceeds those who want to receive "help" it sets the stage for a crash

-When those withdrawing exceeds a critical amount needed to keep it rolling regardless of the number of people joining, then the system would crash.

I believe these two conditions have been met. Christmas time is a time no one wants to give money, rather they want to be helped, with the overwhelming withdrawals that far exceeded the "help providers" the system had to be shut down, because money does not grow on trees.

2. If MMM ever have a blinker to open, which I doubt very much in January as stated in their later, there would be a state of panic withdrawals, and there would be sharp decline of the new people that would have otherwise joined. This panic withdrawals, would lead the MMM handlers to shut it down completely and take with them whatever is left of the system.

3. The other reason MMM had to shut down early December is more likely than not to ensure maximum "cash outs" by the handlers. At this time there is an all time high of money in the system because people put in most of what they had to ensure they get good cash for the Christmas, this high would not happen any other time of the year, so this was the best time for the handlers to cash out big, and I believe they already did.

Finally, the MMM phenomenon further shows the failed system of Nigeria. This system only flourishes in this magnitude in failed countries. It thrived in Russia during the collapse of the Soviet Union, failed Zimbabwe, thrived in failed parts of South Africa, like Soweto. People have lost hope in any decent labor or lack of jobs thereof. Other are greedy and sometimes plain dumb.

Good luck to everyone "waiting" in trepidation to get help. I wish you luck.

God Bless the Federal Republic of Nigeria

Did you not hear Senator Abaribe say investigating the killings shall promote unity in Nigeria?

Fact is that Nigeria's political structure was skewed to such that if any southern politician is not talking about one Nigeria, the politician gets filtered off from the political process of Nigeria.
One SE governor was alleged to have said that the killing of the Bridget woman in Kano by Islamic extremists was done for Nigeria's unity.

This is why Nnamdi Kalu remains the most authentic representative of the voice of the Igbo people.

how has the unity of nigeria helped the majority of nigerians?

Car Talk / Re: Why The Placing Of A 4-yr Expiry Date For tyres is wrong by stallion2: 6:35am On Jul 22, 2016
nedu2000:
Tyres are made to resist elasticity and are made to be rugged!! How would a tyre which after its manufacturing date is stamped on(could've been backdated) and possibly kept in a warehouse for weeks or even months be given an expiry date?

If a tyre is to have an expiry date 4yr from its manufacture then why isn't the expiry date written to its body?

FRSC who isn't a manufacturer and likewise doesn't have the ability to know the true composition of respective tyres shouldn't be the one to impose expiry dates on them.

What if I bought a car(tyres) and I rarely used it for 4yrs,would I be compared to tyres that undergo inter-state trips everyday for 2yrs?

What the FRSC should however be doing is to physically inspect tyres for wear/tear. To ask the citizens of 3rd-world countries to change its tyres every 4yrs is tasking and would push people to prioritise 'date of manufacture' to the actual quality of tyres.
ur concerns are ok, but remember that among other factors its enviromental factors that degrades tyres the most
