sexylassie2: I also like her vibe but it will be hard for her to bounce back even if davido sings hundred bars in her song.
Does she still have the voice, energy and personality? I don't think so ,but you never can tell. She has the advantage of being the only well-known female dancehall artiste. Fans of the genre might stan for her out of pity, but that can't take her far. |

Christianity Etc › Re: Coronavirus: 'Arrest Oyedepo Now' - Northern Youths Tell Security Agencies by stallionsinn: 8:40am On Mar 26, 2020 |
Jakumo: This man of dog, Thieving Pastor Oledepo, intoxicated with the vast wealth that he has acquired by taking money from the desperate poor, imagines himself to be smarter than the entire scientific community now urging the entire planet to go into lock-down as a virus preventative measure.
Frightened that the government mandated dispersal of his gullible flock will affect his ability to rake in mountains of free cash, the greedy pastor chose to DEFY the Nigerian government directive, by insisting that his impoverished cash donors continue showing up in his cattle-shed church, so as to continue feeding his insatiable greed for free money, all in the name of Jeeeeeeeesus, naturally.
While this writer does not ascribe to ANY formalized modality of religious worship, the stand taken by Nigeria's northern Islamic youths, who are demanding the immediate arrest of Pastor Oledeopo, is highly commendable, give the severity of the lethal consequences that could arise from a mass disregard of the Nigerian government's standing ORDER instructing ALL citizens to retreat into the relative safety of their homes, while the contagion rages across our fragile planet, decimating human life as it progresses. You used to be one of the cerebral posters here. What happened to you? Of late, all your comments are stale, predictable and outright dumb. Smh. |

The rest(mind you who also boast of good results)get in through a bit of flexion and extension with their long legs. |

damtan: Can you please tell us your utme aggregate? As much as I knw, 302 is more that enough for medicine 302 is a very good score, but not stellar enough for MBBS since the school will be picking only the 2 best performers across each state and the FCT and according to this report she is 7th in her state. The competition that comes with seeking admission for MBBS is crazy, especially getting in on merit. |

Celebrities › Re: Olamide Reveals Why Lyta He Unfollowed Lyta And Sent Him Away by stallionsinn: 9:46am On May 25, 2019 |
Joshmodest: There are always two sides in every story , and whether you agree or not , both sides always have a point ... In no way did I blame olamide , all I am saying is he promotes one artist and ignores the rest , so why signing many when you can only promote one ... we've seen cases like Mavin's where don jazzy had big artists like tiwa Savage , and dr Sid yet korede Bello, dija and reekado banks were still popping , no one was left behind .. We are always quick to sit in our houses and blame the artists at the end of the day ?? Maybe you should try singing and see how hardddddd it is to get a sponsor, and feel sidelined or marginalized !! Your comparison is flawed ,with all due respect. Most of Olamide's artistes are rappers(indigenous MCs,apart from Limerick ),so you don't expect them to enjoy as much airplay as Mavin acts who are mainly afropop artistes. He has done well by giving all of them a level playing ground to do their thing. Badoo is someone that releases an album every year since he broke into the spotlight, guess what? Last year he did not drop any project ,instead there was a YBNL Mafia album that featured all the new boys on his label, that is apart from the individual singles and videos some of them released. What else do you expect the young man to do? Music is business not charity. Na the artiste way bring money enter label owner go focus on. When Ricky and Tiwa were popping in Mavins ,how many songs were the likes of D'Prince and Dija pushing out weekly/monthly? Lyta should wait for his time. If you are good ,you are good. Nothing can take your shine away. |
Education › Re: Is Medicine And Surgery Worth All The Admission Stress? by stallionsinn: 5:07pm On May 22, 2019 |
spiceadole: I will use myself as an example. I took the UME exam 4 times, spent 7 years in medical school.
Right now, I am a resident doctor in one of the federal teaching hospitals.
I will say the many years I spent to bag a first degree is worth it. In Nigeria of today, one can't get decent jobs without "connection".
As a houseofficer(my first job after graduation), I earned close to 200K.
Next was NYSC, I earned from 2 sources.. A total of 120K
Now, my take home is roughly 300K.
And I am just a junior doctor.
In a country plagued by unemployment and corruption, I am an edge above others... I know.
How many young Nigerians are earning 300K? Many of my colleagues in secondary school who graduated a long time ago are either jobless, working outside their course of study and earning very meagre income.
I studied medicine for the passion... Not for people to bow to me.. Guess what, many people still do. They hear.. Medical doctor.. And they are like wow. Lol.
Being a doctor has put enough food on my table, given me shelter.. And yes.. That Toyota Corolla. Let me start with that. It will get better. 4 years as a medical doctor... Just 4 years.. It's being fantastic. BOSS! |
Education › Re: Is Medicine And Surgery Worth All The Admission Stress? by stallionsinn: 5:05pm On May 22, 2019 |
Saintkagawa: I believe the reason why we gush over medical courses in Nigeria is because of information being passed to us. We are often told to go to school, get good grades and find a better-paying job. Someone who has no interest in medicine will go for it because of it a high paying career.
Here is the list of richest people No medical doctor is among them
TOP RICHEST PEOPLE IN THE WORLD
Jeff Bezos Bill Gates, Mark Zuckerberg, Larry Ellison, Larry Page, Sergey Brin Jack Ma ALL OF THE ABOVE ARE PROGRAMMERS
Am not against you if you have an interest in medicine and surgery or other medical courses, am only referring to those who have no interest for it or are studying it because they want a high paycheck. How many of them are Nigerians? And on the average ,can you compare the level of job security enjoyed by medical doctors to programmers in this part of the world? Bear in mind that programming can be learnt without formal training but you need to pass through med sch to qualify as a doctor. So medicine will always be in high demand till things change. To me,the stress is worth it. |

Most guys don't seem to understand the psychology behind male sexual harassment. Girls who do this don't give you the tease for you to enjoy anything, lol. They do it for the euphoric feeling of power. They get a rush from having you at their mercy, and helpless too. You know the way the male xxual system is wired:a little contact from a lady around an erogenous area is enough to enlived the shotgun down there. Toting a bulging member in a public place is no fun.And there is a schadenfreude angle to this sort of harassment,so while you leer and think you are getting free play, your D might get broken from from rough handling. It is not a pleasant experience like some of you think. |
