Abagworo: You are one of Nigeria's problem. Police shot at a truck driver which lead to a protest by fellow truck drivers and all you could deduce was his ethnic group. As a youth corper you are meant to sweep aside that mentality and integrate with other Nigerians for more cultural understanding. What if the driver shot was from your own ethnic group or even happens to be your blood relative? Change from tribalism for good. Stupìdìty without part 2. If same was done in other part of the country it would av attracted a diff reaction. |

Self determination will never come by bombing and threatening other parts of the nations. It can only come by bridge building, tact, diplomacy, decorum and intellectual persuasive and convincing argument. How do you acheive the highlighted when people av been brainwashed into thinking Allah's will for them is to dominate you the imaginary enemy & your resources, and then fulfil his 'will' of expansion? |

The exploitation is painful because it is supported by a proxy-slavery Federal Government. By proxy-slavery I am talking of the system whereby parasitic states only have to keep reproducing illiterates who look up to the FG to sell oil and pay them salary when there is no productivity from them. People are in Niger, Osun, Imo, Ondo, Abuja who just wait for monthly allocation, get their salary, and buy largely foreign goods with it. They are ready to kill to maintain the status quo. |

Crime rate is at all time high. Kidnapping everywhere etc There is no radical change that can be effected with the way the system is set up. Most people still look up to crude oil money hand out and will still buy imported things with it thereby sending the bulk of the money back to foreigners who paid us those money in the first place. Buhari is trying with blocking of leakages but the some are far more harder to block as they encoded in our norm and laws . . . |

Politics › Re: Farmers To Pay Fee For Protection – Ogbeh by Standing5(m): 4:12am On Jul 22, 2016 |
mrkayusfit: In my opinion i think the farmers are self centered. Remember these herdsmen are Nigerians and they have the right to live and do their businesses any where in Nigeria. What's the big deal in allocating some portion of their farms for cattle grazing? If they were also rearing cattles, won't they graze them? The herdsmen are majorly the source of beef in the country and since everyone patronizes their meat, why can't we support the grazing bill so they can stop moving their cattles in the cities and instead have grazing fields? If every state creates grazing reserves don't you think it will limit clashes between farmers and herdsmen? I know there are bad eggs amongst the herdsmen but we can't throw away the baby and bath water. There has to be a compromise for the sake of peace.
The farmers should be ready to pay for their protection since they are doing their private business. They are not expected to buy guns to protect themselves. The government will provide security if they are ready to pay. The fulanis are not violent people, let's stop the stigmatization of herdsmen Stupid logic. Why not cultivate hitherto uncultivated land? Why destroy an existing project when there is excess land for a new one? |

Education › Some Brain Teaser To Spice Up Your Day by Standing5(op): 2:20am On Jul 22, 2016 |
1.) You are shown two doors - one leading to hell and the second one to heaven and only the door guards know what is behind the doors. One guard is always lying and the other is always telling the truth (of course, you don't know who is lying). You can ask only one guard one question. What question can get you to heaven?
2.) One brick is one kilogram and half a brick heavy. What is the weight of one brick?
3.) Two trains, 200 km apart, are moving toward each other at the speed of 50 km/hour each. A fly takes off from one train flying straight toward the other at the speed of 75 km/hour. Having reached the other train, the fly bounces off it and flies back to the first train. The fly repeats the trip until the trains collide and the bug is squashed. What distance has the fly traveled until its death? There is a complicated and an easy way to calculate this cool math puzzle. Think outside the box.
4.) A passenger train leaves New York for Boston traveling at the speed of 80 km/hr. In half an hour a freight train leaves Boston for New York traveling at the speed of 60 km/hr. Which train will be further from New York when they meet? |
