Kobojunkiee: Lies! He did not buy crude from African countries but went all the way to the US for what? Late last year, Dangote was reported to have received over 1 million barrels of crude from NNPCL, so what is this whole talk about? under full capacity that refinery can barely run for two days with 1 million barrel. The mafia of oil are frustrating his attempt to get crude at intl rate. That's the issue here. |

olatade: Word on the streets is that he backed the wrong horse during the last presidential elections. It is alleged that he is suffering the consequences of his decision. Even if he did, which I doubt, with out financial situation in Nigeria, I doubt the devil himself can take the decisions Tinubu has been taking. That man is too big for Nigeria. He should run for the kingdom of darkness and displace the incumbent, the devil himself. That's what fit Tinubu. Nigeria is too small for him to ruin. The kingdom of darkness needs him more. Dangote refinery that can severely save our exposed asseş is what the city boy is pretending to be pawn for political scores. |

He broke it down into two parts. First part is let them bring back their money from Dubai. Second part is let them buy me out.
Adding them up, we get : let the thieves who have stolen directly from nigeria return their money from abroad and buy Dangote refinery. Nice one from mr Dangote. |

nairalanda1: IN my opinion, it is not ghost workers...most civil services are bloated.
Plus, most states can't make enough money as it is...because their tax to gdp is too low. As a result, they rely on diminishing revenue from oil. But if they start increasing tax to gdp, there would be riots....so here we are.
Catch 22. Yes. That's part of the spirit politics of darkness. The lower members sell out to top politicians who in turn give them ghost job roles for money and loyalty. When the good people of Nigeria have no option between broke satanists who depend on crude money to settle soul sellers and chaotic leadership they can run to, they will naturally revolt or japa to ghana. |

Politics › Re: It Is Finished: Aliko Dangote's Emotional Plea by Standing5(m): 1:33pm On Jul 21, 2024 |
Mankind2024: It Is Finished: Aliko Dangote's Emotional Plea. Aliko Dangote, a prominent Nigerian industrialist, known for his significant contributions to the country's economy, has emotionally abandoned his plans to establish a steel refinery. He cited false allegations of being labeled a monopolist as the reason for his decision. Aliko Dangote is the second-highest employer of laboir in Nigeria, has faced numerous challenges and made tremendous sacrifices for the development of his father's land. However, the truth is that his ancestral land was actually Futajalon. This revelation was in support of the boastful Fulani hegemonists who claim ownership of Nigeria in its entirety
As he recounted his ordeals, he suggested that other wealthy Nigerians with vast resources in foreign countries should take over where he has stopped. This statement highlights the frustration and despair that many investors face in Nigeria's challenging business environment.
The current state of Nigeria's economy is dire, with the country facing numerous challenges, including:
- A comatose economy - Devalued currency (approximately 60% to date) - High unemployment rates, especially among youth. - Worsening security of lives and properties - Lack of investment in agriculture and youth development - Foreign investors and industrialists fleeing the country - Government resorting to indirectly confiscate unclaimed dividends and dormant accounts fund. - Proposed tax on foreign exchange gains by banks at 50%.
To address these issues, I suggest the following solutions:
1. Government: - Encourage and support local investors - Create a conducive business environment - Address the issue of fuel subsidies and cabals profiting from importation - Invest in youth development and agriculture - Hold state governments accountable for their revenue management 2. Youth: - Avoid protests that may lead to clashes with security agents - Recall the devastating consequences of the ENDSARS protest in 2022, which resulted in sorrow, tears, bloodshed, widespread destruction of property, and the loss of precious lives. - Engage in constructive dialogue with the government -If you feel compelled to protest, please return to your home state or state of origin to do so. - Explore alternative means of addressing grievances, such as advocacy and community organizing 3. Investors: - Consider the long-term benefits of investing in Nigeria - Collaborate with the government to create a favorable business environment. - Invest in sectors that promote economic growth and development.
Nigeria is at a critical juncture, and it is essential for all stakeholders to work together to address the challenges facing the country. The government, youth, and investors must collaborate to create a conducive environment for economic growth and development.
President Bola Ahmed Tinubu (PBAT) is known for listening to people and feeling their pain. However, the reality is that there is no shortcut to addressing the current challenges, except through national sacrifice. When it is time for agbero to extort, they dont ask for home state before doing. It is funny how protesters must go back to home state during election that threatens your interest or a protest that does. Protest from where you are based. |

Dangote is like a foreign investor condemned to Nogeria. Even foreign investors like guaranteed returns before investing. The last thing he needs is hate. At a time industries are closing all over, it is painful seeing Dangote talk like this. Even the local guys have to fight for every single thing when the govt still has capacity to step in. |

Odotech: Despite citing the refinery in tinubus Lagos with all the potential to employ 30,000 lagosians, generate trillion naira taxes to Lagos govt, reposition Nigeria, tinubu is frustrating this man for refusing to sponsor his election. But awarding trillion naira contract to least competent foreigner chaugory for sponsoring his election with money stolen from Lagos coffers. This gives credence to the assertion that the fulanis and Yorubas intentionally frustrated all seaport in the south south from working and mandated oil companies to move headquarters to Lagos and pay taxes where headquarter is based just to kill the Niger delta economy. Dangote may have cleverly avoided investing in Nigeria delta so that Yoruba politicians will not frustrate his business the way other Niger delta based businesses were intentionally frustrated by Yoruba politicians. But he didn't see this coming. He didn't know that getting too close to a Yoruba politician like tinubu and refusing to be used can attract terrible vendetta. Yoruba politicians have history of unforgiveness and vendetta. It's genetic. Vindictiveness is in that race Sunday morning marijuana the most potent of them. |

Paraman: The indian man working for Dangote fired the first shot
The people who claimed Dangote refinery will never work are the same people who are now claiming Tinubu and Yorubas are working against Dangote... When we start calling them out now, they will accuse you of hating them. The first shot was the action of the govt to make Dangote buy crude at above market price. When Edwin fired his shot and accused of sulphur laced diesels and fuels, he was being factual and never insulted the intelligence of anyone. Dangote should refine and sell outside Nigeria. It wont take long for the govt to go burst again seeing they have started subsidising petrol and above previous level. |

She unwrapped the fufu (akpooo), flattened it a little and spread peppered spice. Slowly covered it as she walked away. The spice is like Suya spice. The type that normally contains salt, seasoning, pepper and others.
My imagination told me she was going to eat it. I hope I am wrong or it probably fun related. Maybe a challenge by someone around the corner. |
