Not bvn sha. Thanks for the tip. Its just ebay abi paypal and all their security measures, tried checking out with a device I've not browsed ebay with before so that raised some red flags. Anyway stanbic called and have supplied them with the decline screenshot. Should be reverted in 24hrs according to the rep.

That's what they told me about my reversal and it's been 2 weeks now. No release of funds yet. Before they used to do it in 24hrs. These days,they so bad at it.

I have been trying to make a payment on ebay through paypal, using my Stanbic Master card, but the payment has been denied twice. It is not possible I have exceeded my limits and I have used the card before. Anybody experiencing this? and what is the way forward please?

jeeez, have been having the same problem since saturday. Please check your balance ooo. Bought airtime, 2 my surprise my alert showed my paypal declined transactions missing from my balance. Have emailed them, awaiting their reply.

BVN maybe? Anyways, regardless... Stanbic's services have gotten really bad. Things they used to solve in 1 day taking weeks now. If you have mobile banking and the mobile app on ur phone always try login before making any payments. If it logs in fine then go on and use ur card online. But if you get story like 'Telco or Bank unavailable at the moment', run for your life! Lol.

This is just a way to know if they are experiencing downtime at the moment. Cheers!

You are the one slacking, once you send stanbic proof of refund (mail, screenshot, whatever you can). They will reverse it under 24 hours.

"Our card rate for 29th October, 2015 for Dollar is 218.44, pounds is 336.09 and Euro is 244.13"

From Zenith Bank yesterday (bullshit)

"There are no pre-defined rates until settlement is confirmed for the transaction, transactions are charged at prevalent favourable rate"

Which card are you using? Ecobank charges commission only on VISA card. So I can rightly guess that it was VISA card you used for the transaction.
Get their Mastercard and enjoy N218/$ flat without any other charges.

I have always had the Mastercard. however, i don't know if I've really used it online. They did that thing where dey lock ur card for online transactions and u have ti go to the bank to unlock it. Since then i haven't been bothered.

Come to think of it, i think i used an SMS service to unlock it. Mhen, i can't be bothered. That bank is dead to me. They only held me down when i was living in Accra. Not now.

Lol. when did Ecobank repent? 218? Is that before or after their commission? They always charge 2.5% of total purchase as commission.

Kudos to Stanbic Bank and her management team! I was charged at #212/$ last week but the shipper could not ship my items due to some reasons and the transaction was cancelled.I got alert just now 2nd Sept,2015 1:12pm that the money had been refunded into my account. I checked the refund rate but Lo and behold,it was refunded at same #212/$.

You can say some thanks to me on that front, they refunded me at 207 naira and i fought them on it just last week. They are now refunding at 212. Even tho when i paid for the item was in june and i paid at 199.5, i fought them and they refunded me at 212. Stanbic lost money. Nobody sent them to increase it to 212.

If you charge me 212 today for paying, you MUST refund me back at 212 today. Simple and short.

You want to tell me that ur own dollar u are giving me at 212 is more original than the one from US Abi why is ur own more expensive?

hahaha maybe u re not a gud stealth gamer because with the total ratings and reviews of the game it ranked 95.28% which currently makes it d 3rd best ps4 game that has been released,well i havent gotten mine yet,but am expecting it 2 be a great game because i havent played any Metal gear series nd got disappointed,maybe it is d difficulty nd stealthy stuff dat is discouraging u,because all the gameplays i have seen are all awesome
