Uba won kill me. Charging 7.89% of total payment, as if am borrowing from them.
This is a battle you cannot win. UBA must have written it in the 'Terms and Conditions' somewhere which u signed without reading it off course. They can charge however they want to charge. Doubt CBN would help you.

Its not in most cases, cash & online rates hardly sync, fidelity is 199.5 for PTA but 213 for ATM withdrawal...I've done as advised though..
213 not including the 240 naira charge?

Those people are confused set of people. How would they know if the money is meant for goods or not. Call paypal to reset their internal security settings for you.
That's the problem, most of these so called customer service ppl don't even know what they are saying. Sometimes dey just take the easiest way out. I think Firstbank accounts need some sorta upgrade or so. Check that out, might be the issue. Contact ur branch. That's the person with the issueof course. @Shinatu

Thanks for the response. Its not the possibility I'm even concerned about,I have no doubt the card will work in the us, its the rate to be applied I'm wondering about, online is 199.5, hoping it won't be beyond 205 & asking incase someone has a first hand experience..
It would be 199.45 per dollar plus 240 naira charge per withdrawal. Simple.

But, stop wasting time asking here. Get full details from the source. Email: CardqueriesWA@stanbicibtc.com
Done.

Jeffy1206:

Hello,
Has anyone withdrawn physical currency in the US using a Stanbic card.

I know all the transactions that have been detailed on this site are all online for importers, making enquiries incase anyone has travelled and used the ATM for cash in the UK & the rate stanbic used.

Thanks.
I haven't but it should be possible. i have withdrawn Cedis in Ghana with my Stanbic card. MasterCard ATM.

Welcome. Like the poster above me said ...shine ya eyes. I've gotten quality products there that people won't believe is MADE IN CHINA... especially to those who think Chinese are all about fake.

Buyers reviews ( FEEDBACK) are worth its weight in gold. That is why most sellers would do anything to get a 5 star feedback.

Welcome again.

No, Amazon doesn't ship to Nigeria.

Can anyone please tell me if Aliexpress can send goods purchased to Nigeria?unlike ebay and some other online malls that does not post goods to Nigeria. Thanks.
90%+ of items on Aliexpress can be shipped to Nigeria. Also, about the same percentage of items on there are fake/sub-standard. Just be careful and also read feedback from previous buyers.

As long as ur card is linked to ur paypal account and there aren't any restrictions on ur account by PayPal. You should be able to send. I have used my PayPal account to give many donations in different countries including England which is in the UK.

I paid $150 yesterday with UBA Africard, yes, i was charged @ N204 (total of N30,655), however, when I logged into UBA Africard site, i found out i was also charged a fee of N2,417. This brings the total to about N220 per $.

Please these guys charge what they call fees with what they charge you per dollar. So in actual sense, you will definitely be paying up N220 / dollar, very close to the parallel market rates.

Guys using Stanbic IBTC @N199, is this inclusive of the fees or exclusive of it? Please verify for the house...
Which house? why do you ppl always say house? Is this ur house? Is ue house online? Lol.

Anyways, Stanbic charge is 199.45 now and almost everybody knows that's what it is. U get what u see, simple. So to answer your question, no other fees. Cheers.

how much is paypal charging for usd? anyone? need to make some ebay purchases
It's dependent on the card added to ur paypal. And the card rates is charged by the card issuer (your bank).

PayPal has nothing to do with rates, it's ur bank dat decides conversion rate. Cheers.

Hello Stanley, u r really doing a great job. I hv a Stanbic IBTC MasterCard and I want to purchase goods online frm China (in dollars), do I need to open a Paypal account or I can buy wt my MasterCard? If i use my Master Card, is d deduction frm my account (in Naira) d same as if i use Paypal? If I'm to open a PayPal account, hw will I go abt it? Need ur response soon. Tnx.
This reminds me of those days in JAMB hall. Sooo many questions.

Yes u can buy with ur card on Aliexpress for example. Infact i don't think ali accepts paypal, not directly anyways.

Open paypal and add ur MasterCard, if you are paying for goods/services payment it's exactly the same, free of charge. Receiver pays.

And any other thing u need, Google will help u with how to open a PayPal account and adding card. Dats pretty basic tho.

@Stanley. All I can say is 'You have been scammed'. It is not logical for you to Complain about the product you bought from another buyer here.

FYI the power bank I got about 8 Months ago from OP is Geniune.

Here is the calculation : I use a samsung galaxy S5 whose battery is 2800 Mah and my sweet Romoss Solo 5 is 10000 Mah. Divide 10000/2800 Gives you about 3.57. Meaning it can charge your device up to 3 times from 0 to 100%. Infact My power bank charges my S5 3 times and still remain a bar for another half charge.

This is our problem here in Africa. Someone scammed you doesnt mean others selling similar products are scammers. Also here is not where you are supposed to complain. Who knows maybe you paid 1500 for the power bank. Or maybe yours is Romass and not Romoss

Abegi this guy's Romoss 5 is genuinely Genuine.

I even bought for a friend and he has been enjoying it.
Lol. It happens to the best of us (Getting scammed). Just check and my own sef is Thomas! If you read my post, u will see that i indicated i didn't buy from him, so nobody uses my post to judge his own product. If i confirm his own is genuine, i will buy it sef. So pls don't go full retard on me abeg. This is a forum, not a war zone.

I got ur criticism and attack, and u said u didn't buy from me. I don't know if u buy the original one,but am not hear to attack u back.

First, I sell the original romoss power bank and the original solo 5 does not in Anyway come in brown carton box. Pls verify your fact and check.

my powerbank takes less than 13 hours to charge if u use a charger output of 1.0A, but if u use a 2.0a charger u will get 8 hours charge before it get full, so it doesn't take forever to charge unless u want a powerbank that takes 2 hours or three hours to charge full, they are many in d market.

For using ur power bank to charge ur phone, ensure u use a good USB cord. U see, USB cord are like pipe. Some pipe are wider, while others are narrow. A depleted or old USB cord will not carry power to ur phone. A guy was complaining about his romoss sofun 6 power bank not charging his phone. I simply gave him my own USB cord and that's how charging was fast.
It has to do with USB length actually, but even at that, considering the resistance there should only be a 1 to 3% loss at most. And considering leakage. 10 to 15% loss. Dat still leaves about 8,000mAh+. But loses here run into maybe 40%+

I'm not here to cause any issues, barely sharing my own findings.

I have this power bank, bought 2 actually. For me and my brother. Let me indicate that i didn't buy from this seller first, so it's not as if I'm targeting him.

It's no where near 10,000mAh. 7200mAh at best. Doesn't charge my Xperia Z3 up to 2 times and my Z3 is only 3,100mAh. So doesn't give up to 6,200mAh backup if u ask me. From full charge it charges my phone to 100% once then dies around 80% during the second charge. And it takes FOREVER to get Full. Hours and hours of charging.

If u have one of them dead-beat blackberry phones or iPhones maybe it could work well for u with 2 to 3 charge cycles. But if you got a high end smartphone. LOL.

The Original one comes in a brown carton box. I've seen it online, sadly it was after i bought this transparent pack one. Anyways, my own opinion tho. Cheers! smiley

Boss, my honour to explain it to you. He ships every fortnight on Mondays. His last shipping was 22nd June, so the next one will be 6 July but ur goods must get to him b4 Saturday 4 July. He charges $3.85/lb and some dollars extra if you are shipping hazardous materials (HazMat). Your bill would be sent to ur mail which would include Chinos XL Ecobank acct. Once you make your payment, you won't pay anything else.

Note: For faster response from him, send a text message.
Fantastic explanation bro, Thanks. I just see ppl complaining about Lack of communication and dats what worries me most, i HATE being in the dark more than anything else. I thought i was the only one suffering from this, i mentioned it to my dad and he said he experienced it at a point in his life, that was when i knew it was hereditary (as someone said in the first page) and it could be outgrown as I'm still very young. Lol.

Anyways, mine only happens during the day, like say 12pm to 4 or 5pm. Early morning bath, no problem! Late night bath, no problem! Funny thing is that i just unconsciously stopped using sponge, without really knowing that it helped. Lol i guess my subconscious was active.
I only bath with cold water anyways, even in the coldest weather, i guess that has to reduce / stop now.

And yeah, THANKS GUYS!

Hi guys, if anyone could be of help here, that'll be great.

Does Stanbic send alerts for £ GBP too?

What are their charges when withdrawing abroad?
Is there a daily limit
All alerts come in naira value even if you are paying for something in Biafra money.

The withdrawal charge should be 240 naira per withdrawal
The daily limit is $300 or its equivalent as per the directions of CBN. So it's same for all banks in Nigeria.
Annual limit too for spending is $50,000

Cheers!
