Thot it might benefit someone since I've actually bought PTA @ fidelity at 199.5,was going to use the card for purchases before the 211 scared me away.. & currently using stanbic at the Atm, for online or pos purchases (even getting some cash back on accassions at some stores) here on a daily basis @ the consistent 199.5

The seller you are trying to attack has explained in details the way to differentiate between the fake and original, and has never pointed out your items as fake. No one on his thread, with even more followers than yours, has mentioned his products as being fake.

If people on the street of Lagos can sell the same thing without a fight, we can all do the same on Nairaland. without any beef.

Stanbic VISA Dollar cards have no limits. Maybe you should try that.

I knew a lot of people will say why did i leave money in the account, but truth is either way the money will still be removed from the account unless you dont plan to use that account again, bankers on this forum will know what i am talking about, they will peg your account with ( i cant remember the term again) what it does is, as soon as any form of money gets into the account , it will automatically deduct it , any day any time, its simple technology.

if it was the other way round , we would cry foul and bombard their customer care section and demand our money be returned, what makes you think they wouldnt do the same ? if the mistake was done on the counter, the cashier would be made to pay, because the books will not balance, its left for the cashier to trace the account holder and get his/her money back, either way.

it was too good to be real, my initial thought was the reduced exchange rate for the pilgrimage that the federal goverment talked about, so i just thought maybe it affected online purchase as well.

all the same..................Lesson learnt

Me said its a lie ke?, maybe you are confusing me with another poster, i was just expressing skepticism that's all & it was cos i had such high hopes for fidelity bank cos their PTA is 198.95 (while stanbic's is 208 which one can only get at their idejo HQ) but withdrawal from ATM is 211.... you encouraged me to inquire & so happy i did.

Im enjoying the best of both worlds, I got my 4k$ PTA from fidelity @ 199.5, while I'm gbaduin 199.45 on top my stanbic card here, only thing is that i was assured i could do 150k equivalent withdrawal which is definitely not the case, na the same 300$ cash peg.

Whats even so sweet about the bank is that their card is easily accepted that the the chase ATM we use that charges $3 on top my friend's Access charges after the 212 & 420N transaction charge , i dodge. To think that my husband is a loyal Stanbic customer of 3yrs while i super glued to GT & their yeye rate.

Thanks to God for making me stumble on this thread & all the correct contributors are awesome as well.

Stanbic is the shizznit!!!, , i used the card here in the states & i was debited @ 199.5 for both Atm cash withdrawal&Pos purchase & my transactions were approved within the blink of an eye.....while a friend had to make do with Access bank's 212.

How their rate is so reasonable is still a surprise..

Mistake. Meant minimum of 2K to open. And the information i got said it's 500 mafia minimum balance not zero account.

Do they issue vica card too, I always prefer visa to mastercard due to the direct withdrawal service on visa.

Oga nothing like verification wahala abegi. If you can't get it, be paying UBA 8% nah. When it's not as if I'm buying shares.

Just get the StanbicIBTC Debit MasterCard and stop worrying urself about visa etc. it's still MasterCard they will give u so just do it.
