ogugua88: She's looking slimmer in the first photo.I agree. I prefer her former stature though. Hope she doesn't get slimmer than this and become another yvonne skeleton. |
Nextworldnx: @OP, Don't mind the ladies here. While I was reading all along, I knew they were going to turn the whole issue into u and ur friend screwing each other. Be rest assured that there are some guys here who understand what u are talking about and can profer a solution to it.Did I just see "you married her but she dint marry you" Sorry to say bros, but please do us a favour and return to the cave you came from. You all talk as if ladies don't have goals too. These same girlfriends you talk about don't have lives ? They don't have friends whom they share aspiration too? Friends that have helped them grow to become better people? This Op here is married and you are not. Your friend can come first in you relationship but when marriage is concerned, your family comes first. Why am I even wasting my time sef? Someone who already believes in 'I married you and not the other way round'. Someone who thinks no woman can add value to his life but chase value adding people away from him. Shiorrr. |
Duke_Nija: Abeg keep quiet!Na wa o. Why this aggression. @Op, I understand where your wife is coming from. No partner would feel comfortable having someone else as his or her partner's confidant. You even said your friend advises you when your wife misbehaves..huh? Now, if you were to be in your wife's shoes, would you be comfortable with her gisting over the phone with her friend EVERYDAY for 2hours or more? Would you be comfortable with your wife's friend advising her whenever you misbehave? Let's all be reasonable abeg. She is NOT against your friendship, she's against the unnecessary attention you are giving to your male friend. Its obvious you both are overdoing this friendship of a thing cos his wife is also complaining. Most of the men supporting would not tolerate this. They usually end up telling their wives to choose between them and the friend. Btw, what is it that you discuss everyday for over two hours that can not all be discussed on weekends when you normally hang out? I don't think its healthy for two grown up men to talk this much. Ki le n ri wi sef. |
I agree with the Op about the northern people accepting torn notes. When I was in camp in the north, I noticed they gave out torn notes as change anyhow . The first time I was given, as a typical 'southwesterner', I rejected it, the aboki gave me another torn one, which I also rejected until a fellow corp member tapped me and urged me to collect it because they spend and accept torn notes well in the north. He assured me the next shop would accept it from me. After that incidence, I started collecting torn notes in camp without complaining. However, I made one mistake before leaving. I forgot to spend all the torn notes over there before returning to the west. Those notes are still somewhere in my box cos my people over here rejected them. Some weeks ago, a particular bank almost rejected a torn 1000n note and he told me its the new policy in banks too to stop accepting torn notes. I really don't get how they expect that policy to work when atm also dispenses torn notes at times. Thank God for filling stations sha. They are the only people I can confidently give torn notes without the fear of rejection. |

Dr2great: . O boy.,if u can not express urself in english language.,just try use pigin.,u hear me so? Also try leave that ur sch,go better sch,or report ur english teacher to ur principal or is it headmaster self? What class are u? How old are u? Is under age allow on nairaland?Frustrated Illiterate. |
Rooneyboy: all these so called celebrities and their love for tasting different random pri-c-ks.Did she by chance come after your prick? You peeps just sit behind your screen and type anything, just anything! |
Gabriel_sylar: Comparing naira land to twitter is like comparing david mark and obama...they are two diff functions....abegI think its the other way round, too many talkatives on twitter. I'm not a fan of twitter, never been, never will..I could go a whole year without checking my timeline, but I did today, and when I did, I had to unfollow 6 of the few peeps in my 'following" list. Too many unnecessary talks and chitchat on my TL. It was just flooded with rubbish and even the celebrities are not left out of the unnecessary talk. I find twitter way too boring honestly, reading different people"s tweets just sucks to me.. but that's just me sha. My friends have tried to convince me to tweet more often, but I just don't dig it. Give me nl anyday anytime, too many sections to explore...nairaland has never bored me. It may be less entertaining on a few ocassions, but never boring. |
The names Op used are not real names, so the mix-up is understandable IMO. Tiwa is more of a feminine name and it got me confused too while reading the original story, taking tiwa to be female. Op, everything has been sorted and as far as I am concerned, you have no business with the issue anymore. Lesson learnt..pele. |

cogitoErgo: This is gross injustice, is this not the same NYSC that is done in north where women dress almost like masqurade and nobody dares throw them out of the camp? CAN and other xtian bodies must be to blaim here, why are they quiet? Whatcis good for the goose is good for the gander!Quit this illogical comparism. Hers is a case of disobedience. How hard is it for you to comprehend. These so called 'masqurades' still wear their kits no matter the length of their hijab. In some states, they are even very strict with the colour and length of the hijab. And when they use their hijab, they must put their face-caps on-this I find really unattractive, but then, they have no say as they weren't forced to serve. I'm sure if the girl decided to wear her three quarter skirt on top of the trouser, or beret beneath her face cap or whatever, it wouldn't have raised eyebrows. She couldn't obey the simple rules she signed her undertaken for and she opted for voluntary exit. |
Heavily pregnant indeed! Choi! Wrong choice of clothes though, she looks very unattractive in the second picture. Can't wait to see her drop a cutie. |
manosteel: When my religion starts planting bombs and grenades in other places of worship or starts fighting for the same God I assumed to be worshiping, then i will sign out from that religion and seek peace elsewhere. You can only find peace within yourself first before you seek it elsewhere. If you are not peaceful as a person, then religion will not give you that peace. Would you leave your nationality or tribe because of the evils of a few? Its all about freedom of choice bro, but your seeking peace elsewhere line just seems out of place to me. |
Afam4eva: If there's one thing i've learned, it is that one person's light may be another person's darkness. People who convert always say that they've found the truth when it's actually the truth that they wanted to find that they did find.GBAM!. My reason is this poster's reason. Many atimes, people from the other religion have tried to convince me to change my religion, they tell me its the light and the truth. I tell them I think otherwise, nothing about them convinces me its the 'truth'. I was born and I grew in my religion, not exactly by choice but I don't seem to have a problem with the way I serve my God. A Thousand of blasphemies and condemnable acts of some wouldn't change that. Happy Sunday. |

obi123: we are pretty much venting our frustration at the system, we hardly rebel bad governance in naija, we accept so much bull from govt officials that anytime anyone from the govt slips to the knowledge of all and there is no way they can deny it , we capitalize on it.The sad thing is no matter how long this joke takes, it will not stop nepotism in this country(especially government institutions) neither will it reduce or control it. Even if they demote , suspend or terminate this man's appointment, I'm certain none of these mockers(the unemployed and underemployed ones) would replace his post. Typical of nigerians to channel their energy and time into wrong things. For the records, I am NOT in support of pea brained men (or women) occupying government seats, but the truth is , it can't be helped in nigeria. A thousand humilating n embarassing tweets and broadcasts and nairaland posts will not change that...at least not soon. |
Inova: Honestly I'm still trying to figure out the humor in his embarrassment. I've seen worse public humiliation than this dat didn't go viral. Comon guys. This cheap humiliation is exposing most of you guys dat have no jobs and console urself with ur cell phones hanging out at social media sites all day. To me the guy is not important enuf for me to propagate dis humiliation. I'm sure most of you are just hearing about NSCDC for the first time and I'm also sure you don't even know wat they do. Simply JOBLESSI agree with you on this. Most youths never heard of NSCDC until now and majority do not even know the full meaning. Asked a couple of friends of mine when they would not stop mocking this man and their excuse was that they do not work there. I also do find his approach to the question very embarassing and distasteful, especially the gesticulation and smirk but it is way too overflogged by the media. I really don't know how he and his family members have been coping. Friends, relatives, colleagues, chei. Even dame's own no reach this. This joke na 'everywhere you go'. |
kingoflag: In Japan, that woulda been the honorable thing to do. In this case, I think he should imbibe the Japanese culture where mediocrity is abhored and excellence is the goal and look for a sword and do what he gotta and spare the rest of us this rubbish him and his wife are trying to put us all through.Where is your conscience? Haba!!!! |
