Let me relate with u.
I currently have a very close friend from way back. We went dsame Secondary Sch., dsame university, tho he did Chemical Eng and I studied Mechanical. We use to live in dsame town until he got a Job with an Oil Coy in another state. Though, we are not married(Yet we manage our relationships well).

Now, we talk and hang-out all day long. Even when we are both separated by distance, we talk on phone all night long(including Nite calls). We talk about life,our business, our daily activities, our dreams, hopes and future. We help each other greatly every day(Funny enough, he is not the only one,I have about 3 others like that. We usually for hours on phone. But am too closely tied to dis my particular brother from another mother).

And when most of our girlfriends couldn't separate us, they called us GAYs! Well, it didn't bother us 'cos its all cheap black-mail(U must know that we detest anything homo all forms).

U might ask how we succeeded in keeping the girls at bay!
-We did exactly ur friend did, "warn the girls sternly". That this guy brought me to this level and I did same for him, and there is no way in Hell we are gonna drop each other for anybody. If she doesn't like it, she can kiss d dust.

Women will always be women, once they enter ur life, they chase away everything that u hold dear. People and things that were there for u when things was down, people and things that molded, built and shaped u into what and who u are right now and made u fit for them to befriend or marry. Those same people they want u to chase away so that when u come crashing down,they will pack their bag and baggages and leave u to wallow in misery and regrets.

My girlfriend knows it, she can't try that nonsense with me. My main guys first before her. Infact, she's got no choice now, she has made most of my pals her friends.

So OP, its ur choice,u married her she didn't marry u. Calling a Family or district meeting is not gonna solve a thing. Its about time u man up and stamp ur feet on the ground. If not, u are in for a long and rough ride if u continue to use logic and wisdom as u have been doing.

@Op, I understand where your wife is coming from. No partner would feel comfortable having someone else as his or her partner's confidant. You even said your friend advises you when your wife misbehaves..huh?

Now, if you were to be in your wife's shoes, would you be comfortable with her gisting over the phone with her friend EVERYDAY for 2hours or more? Would you be comfortable with your wife's friend advising her whenever you misbehave? Let's all be reasonable abeg. I agree with the Op about the northern people accepting torn notes. When I was in camp in the north, I noticed they gave out torn notes as change anyhow . The first time I was given, as a typical 'southwesterner', I rejected it, the aboki gave me another torn one, which I also rejected until a fellow corp member tapped me and urged me to collect it because they spend and accept torn notes well in the north. He assured me the next shop would accept it from me.

After that incidence, I started collecting torn notes in camp without complaining. However, I made one mistake before leaving. I forgot to spend all the torn notes over there before returning to the west. Those notes are still somewhere in my box cos my people over here rejected them.

Some weeks ago, a particular bank almost rejected a torn 1000n note and he told me its the new policy in banks too to stop accepting torn notes. I really don't get how they expect that policy to work when atm also dispenses torn notes at times. Thank God for filling stations sha. They are the only people I can confidently give torn notes without the fear of rejection.

I think its the other way round, too many talkatives on twitter. I'm not a fan of twitter, never been, never will..I could go a whole year without checking my timeline, but I did today, and when I did, I had to unfollow 6 of the few peeps in my 'following" list. Too many unnecessary talks and chitchat on my TL. It was just flooded with rubbish and even the celebrities are not left out of the unnecessary talk.

I find twitter way too boring honestly, reading different people"s tweets just sucks to me.. but that's just me sha. My friends have tried to convince me to tweet more often, but I just don't dig it.

Give me nl anyday anytime, too many sections to explore...nairaland has never bored me. It may be less entertaining on a few ocassions, but never boring.

Quit this illogical comparism. Hers is a case of disobedience. How hard is it for you to comprehend. These so called 'masqurades' still wear their kits no matter the length of their hijab. In some states, they are even very strict with the colour and length of the hijab. And when they use their hijab, they must put their face-caps on-this I find really unattractive, but then, they have no say as they weren't forced to serve.

I'm sure if the girl decided to wear her three quarter skirt on top of the trouser, or beret beneath her face cap or whatever, it wouldn't have raised eyebrows.

Many atimes, people from the other religion have tried to convince me to change my religion, they tell me its the light and the truth. I tell them I think otherwise, nothing about them convinces me its the 'truth'. I was born and I grew in my religion, not exactly by choice but I don't seem to have a problem with the way I serve my God.

A Thousand of blasphemies and condemnable acts of some wouldn't change that.

I agree with you on this. Most youths never heard of NSCDC until now and majority do not even know the full meaning. Asked a couple of friends of mine when they would not stop mocking this man and their excuse was that they do not work there.

I also do find his approach to the question very embarassing and distasteful, especially the gesticulation and smirk but it is way too overflogged by the media. I really don't know how he and his family members have been coping. Friends, relatives, colleagues, chei. Even dame's own no reach this.
