UACN is riding on its right issue sentiment. There isn't any other trigger for the north movement with the current oil price/coronavirus etc.

It's safe to advice to be careful of bidding in large quantity if you didn't buy at the 8.05/8.50 entries. If you are already inside, be content with what you have and let's see how the week ends. so that 10% 10% pipo like Loco will not come and spoil your market grin
So you someone will buy UACN and jump out at 10%... lol

InvestmentRe: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by stcool(m): 8:11am On Feb 11, 2020
The money for this year is clearly inside UACN...

Same way DF made people money last year.

Why run around when you can sit in one place, chop and clean mouth.

Stop making brokers rich for no reason.

All things equal...Livestock, UACN, UPDCREIT and UPDC is a buy going forward.
InvestmentRe: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by stcool(m): 2:27pm On Feb 10, 2020
I think the market is buying anything UACN....Livestock, UPDC, UPDCREIT

It would make people rich. grin grin grin

Read the context again. This time around slowly...

30th Sept 2019 is the qualification date for the right issue and not UNBUNDLING of UPDC and UPDC REITS to IACN SHAREHOLDERS that will take place after the RIGHT ISSUE
sorry...my mistake

grin grin grin
InvestmentRe: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by stcool(m): 12:58pm On Feb 10, 2020
PETERiCHY:
UACN Property Development Company Plc (“UPDC” or the “Company”) has concluded arrangements to raise N=15.96 Billion via a Rights Issue (the “Rights Issue” or “Transaction”), to repay its short-term debt obligations and significantly reduce leverage. The Transaction is part of UPDC’s broader strategy to create long term shareholder value by recapitalising and repositioning the Company.

Shares in UPDC will be offered to existing shareholders whose names appeared in the register of members of the Company as at 30 September 2019 (the “Qualification Date”) in line with the Rules and Regulations of the Securities and Exchange Commission. The allotment will be on the basis of 43 new ordinary shares for every 7 ordinary shares held, at a price of N=1.00 per share.

so those buying now won't get to share inside UPCD and UPDCREIT...

UACN price is suppose to fall lower
InvestmentRe: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by stcool(m): 10:17am On Feb 10, 2020
Since UACN is providing more than 50% of the funds for the rights issue...UPDC is a bargain @0.90k for those looking for penny stocks.

I would most likely buy 0.90 below shocked

A businessman posted that he may not get goods from a company in China as they are currently shutdown due to the virus. According to him, they may resume production in Q2 and he would get his next supply in Q4.

I think oil will fall more...the thing is serious unless a cure is found soon.

Last time I checked...HW sold some holdings!

This year I said zero investment on NSE...doing only foreign stocks and $ holdings.

If I feel strongly tempted...only one stock on my view.

Please don't do any foreign stocks this year. It may not be OK for foreign stock.
My Oga if In may ask, what is your reason?

I read a report on the US economy by a leading investment banking firm and we are very far from anything recession in the US.

So outside the middle east and the usual geopolitical tension in the US are they anything to worry about?

If its fear of War...it would reach everyone even NSE.

Gain here...Loose here

I am not sure I will do NSE much this year. Let me look for one or two foreign stocks and enter.

Imagine even this same $1000 invested in GTB, Firstbank or Zenith

Hopefully Alibaba or Tesla is looking like a game changer for the decade.

Uchetoba:
So because UPDC promised to allot the units of UPDCREIT to its shareholders after the right issue that is why they are buying the shares instead of allowing it to fall freely as it suppose.

Let's look at it this way, after right issue is completed the pro rata allotment may not give you more than 1unit of UPDCREIT for every share UPDC held.

But come to think of it,

What if they did not get the regulatory approval?

What if they change their mind later?

For now I'm very cautious about UPDC and UACN.
Until they do the final announcement regarding the right issue and the unbundling I can only buy UACN @ N4 and UPDC @ 60 kobo.
Change your ways!!!

Seun you need to use a dark background on this font.

Best is to change the font colour and have a dark background on the font. The current look is unpleasing to the eyes.

These people just have brains turn upside down. You are trying to improve inclusion in banking, now you want to charge for cash deposits. What happens to the petty traders and other businesses you want to convince to bank? Nigerian economy is still largely driven by cash so people will just return to their mattress Lol
Sometimes I wonder if this people think at all. At the end traders in our markets will resort to keeping their money in their shops or houses.

I still dey expect money this month end to pump inside UBA.
