SmooshCHN: Like they struggled in 2015 and 2016 playoffs when they were healthy with Draymond and no KD. Hating everything the Warriors stand for has become your safe place you don't even think twice before saying the most ridiculous things. Wetin the Warriors do una? Haba!! In those years they had Igoudala, Livingston, Bogut and other good pieces. Who do they have now? Spellman and some comedic names that don't fit the NBA. Smh |

chic2pimp: Yup!....They Do indeed miss the Chef and to a lesser extent Klay. Once they get those two players back and firing on all Cylinders coupled with one or two new additions, they'll be back. Top 3 in the West no single doubt in my mind. Let's be honest, Steph and Klay on this team will struggle to make the playoffs. This team is awful |

KarnBarlow: LeBron Joined a Miami team that won 47 games and was at the end of a gentleman sweep against the same team that beat him.
And then he joined a cleveland team that had one of the worst records in NBA history.
Finally he joins a Lakers team that along with the Knicks had the worst record in the NBA over the last few years.
Kevin Durant Joined the greatest regular season team that just lost the finals in 7 after blowing a 3-1 lead.
Oh he also blew a 3-1 lead against them and actually had a decent team in OKC.
His stans on nairaland "its the exact same thing LeBron is doing". I don't even know where to start with you people. Its embarrassing! Very embarrassing |

donlittle25: I am.convinced you are trying to miss the point. If KD doesn't have two final MVPs right now, two rings, he would be rushing to get back into the game, doing everything he can quickly because he knows his time is going and younger and more hungrier players will keep coming up.
But ofc, that isn't the case, he has two rings, finals mvp, and has suck, there is no pressure for him to come back soon. He will come back when he is 100% Isn't that when he's supposed to come back. |

chic2pimp: Neither Do I get it tbh. You lot are free to do whatever pleases you with your career but Sports Stars are somehow exempt from doing just that. Yh sounds about right. Sports and sport stars are there for us to analyse and scrutinize. It won't be fun if we all just shut up and watched them play the game. We know he already has 2 championship and 2 finals MVP, we can't take that away from him, but we have a right to analyse the value of those titles. It's not as if it's only the fans that are criticizing him, virtually every basketball pundit has had a negative say about his move. That's what it is bro, it's the game. |

chic2pimp: When I say He is taking His time, I mean with Assurance of 2 Titles and FMVPs behind His back, He won't be rushed back. He'll take all the time He needs. And I'm telling you that he won't be rushed back because the last time he was rush back look what happened. |

Roland17: But when the Normad left Cleveland to form an assembly with 2 other perennial All Stars, not forgetting integral pieces like R. Allen on his way to consecutive finals appearances and his first title, he did not reset the league? KD was not a passerby with the Warriors, no one in that team or roster can beat their chest and say KD did not earn his ring! He was the reason they won back to back and they even dared a triple!! Let's pretend we don't know the details of both moves. |
Sports › Re: The NBA Begins by steady986(m): 1:45am On Dec 11, 2019 |
chic2pimp: Loool...There is literally no pressure on KD to win a Ring hence why He is taking His time to make sure He is fully recovered before coming back. Now imagine He had won ZeroTitles before that Injury? Dude must be giggling from ear to ear for making that smart move. Lmao, you literally said he's taking his time because there's no pressure? Come on man, you can do better. He has an Achilles injury, he'll definitely take his time. |

VaughnSangrey: Smoosh isnt even a KD stan, i think he may even hate him a little now for leaving them high and dry. He just needs to protect the warriors era of tyranny over the last few years hence him defending KD. In truth who he should really be defending is their darling, the unanimous MVP, the legendary choker with 3 "rings" and 0 FMVPs who is currently faking an injury to avoid facing the consequences of his evil ways. I didn't mention anyone

KD stans are doing all they can to preserve the snake's already tarnished legacy. But deep down they know that if he doesn't win a championship with Brooklyn the uproar continues. His injury was just a blessing in disguise. |

chic2pimp: Say what you like about EasyMoney, that Singular Action He took 3 summers ago changed His Career narrative. He went from being called an also ran, someone who could never get it done to being called a Champ. That's the value 2 FMVPs adds to your CV. The heat Westbrook and Harden currently get would have been all Durants had He not made that Gutsy move.
Had KG done the same and Left Minnesota much earlier than He did, we will be talking about Him having multiple titles now. Also reason why I think Sooner rather than Later Giannis would have to take that Bold step too because let's be honest, He is not winning a chip with this current Bucks squad. Lol. You think the world has forgotten about KD? Just wait till he returns. And he better pray he wins a chip with Brooklyn, if not those wounds would be opened again, and it's going to have maggots in 'em. |

chic2pimp: I think it's fair to admit AD and King James are the best duo in the NBA. Also AD certainly made the Best decision for His Career(. He knows His career would be looked at differently If He fails to win a Chip so He came to the right place to do just that(reason why I would never criticize KD for moving to the Warriors). KD deserves all the criticism. He was the de facto second best player in the league, even crowned best by many. He had a top 10 player as sidekick, but no, he left him to join a team that had the two best shooters of all time, including the previous two MVP of the league(not forgetting they were a 73 win team, very important). That has to be the weakest move in NBA history. Now I don't mind if you put LeBron's move to Miami in second place, but the gap between this first place and second place is enormous. |

Sports › Re: The NBA Begins by steady986(m): 8:48am On Dec 08, 2019 |
SmooshCHN: Dude, Rodney Hood had no treatment whatsoever. He didn't take any rest and played back to back games even after they noticed he was injured. KD stopped basketball activities for 6 weeks to recover from a calf strain before his Achilles injury. Players play after the standard recovery protocol except if you mean the should never play until God sends a fax. By your standard, Lakers are the same devil for what has happened to Rondo with multiple hand and finger related injuries since he joined the Lakers right? Makes no sense. It's just hypocritical that you're the one shitting on Kawhi and the Clippers for load management after his knee troubles.

Sports › Re: The NBA Begins by steady986(m): 10:01am On Dec 07, 2019 |
SmooshCHN: A sore Achilles is different from a calf strain. And he was out through the standard recovery period for that injury. It's not the same scenario if he got treatment and missed time. Get some knowledge and stop looking for every way to bash the Warriors. The "same scenario" I'm talking about here is that both clubs knew the risks involved in playing the players and they still played them. No one's giving the Warriors a bashing that they don't deserve. |
