Sweet Revenge! I've always liked KCP and I thought his treatment earlier in the season was harsh. |

Tundesam923: that's fair. I don't understand this kawhi epidemic going around...people are just so in love with him, they ignore so many red flags. Maybe its more about always looking for the next man to dethrone lebron james. That's all it is. LeBron can't do anything right in their eyes, but every other superstar gets a pass for doing the exact same thing. |

LeBron made Demar choke most of those years. And don't tell me Kawhi shut down LeBron in 2014, cos LeBron averaged 28 in that final |

That is just the way things are presently I'm afraid. Like when the Raptors were a matchup nightmare against the Cavs those days. But what happened in the playoffs? |

benji93: Don't even bring up the triple double subject. Its no longer a hallowed territory.Westbrook has made normalcy of it Maybe he should try one quadruple double. . I am not disputing the fact that this result is not the ultimate, we still have a lot of time till the playoffs. The problem I have is the injury narrative. If you are hurt, sit your ass down. If you decide to play with the injury, don't cry like a baby. Yen yen yen. Did you even watch the interview? Did he say he was injured going into the game? Na wah o |
Sports › Re: The NBA Begins by steady986(m): 6:30pm On Dec 26, 2019 |
benji93: Trolling? If you are injured then don't play, it isn't the NBA finals. Man up and take the L and don't put it down to injury. Your decision to play through an injury is your choice. He got his balls manhandled it's as simple as that. He can try again later. I don't get the manhandled part. He almost got a triple double. How come you people are not talking about PG that scored 17 points. Just call the loss a loss, ain't no need to blow things out of proportion. |

Hart but their MCM ran across to form his own slip into poor K. Hart whom for all we know is still recovering from a ghastly accident. When they win it’s all about the Normad when they lose, the Lakers lack depth, the Lakers need one more offensive players, the Normad is injured, the litany of exudes pass our constitution and its amendment put together. This is ridiculous. You really hate this man. |
Sports › Re: The NBA Begins by steady986(m): 3:13pm On Dec 26, 2019 |
Apparently people on this thread are not satisfied that LeBron and the Lakers lost a regular season game. They want him to lose and not have a groin problem even though he has a groin problem. Is it your groin problem?
The Lakers are 24-7 and well on course to win 60 games. LeBron has won fewer games in the regular season before, and has lost regular season games to title contenders before, so I really don't know what the fuss is about.
Anyway, enjoy your moment while it lasts, cos I told you you won't have many opportunities to troll the king this season. |

Sports › Re: The NBA Begins by steady986(m): 9:11am On Dec 26, 2019 |
I don't care if LeBron has to sit out the next two weeks to get that groin properly healed, just do what you need to do. I know we'll lose a lot of games in his absence, but we'll surely still be in that top 4 when he returns.
And P.S. LeBron was one of three Lakers players to finish the game with a positive +/- |

birdman: I dont think Kuzma changes much about this team right now. I havent seen him take the next step he was supposed to. Plus the lakers bench doesnt really have a spark plug...they defer too much to LeBrons star power imo.
I could see your scenario repeating itself tonight. Are you sticking to this even after seeing his performance tonight? |

The entire NBA fandom is attaching more importance to this game than the Lakers players and fans. Whatever happens in this game will have no effect whatsoever in the playoff matchup if they meet
|
Sports › Re: The NBA Begins by steady986(m): 10:40am On Dec 25, 2019 |
birdman: I agree. The saving grace for the Lakers was moments of inspired defense. But there is a lot of work to be done. Father time has LeKing on his mind, I think its time for some load management Think about this for a second. Gianni's made 5 three(career high), bench had 4 points because of poor shooting but also because no Kuzma. Do you see that same scenario happening in the next game against them? |

Sports › Re: The NBA Begins by steady986(m): 3:06am On Dec 24, 2019 |
Apparently the Lakers ditched Kawhi, not the other way round.
First we ditch Tyrone Lue, and then Kawhi. We ain't budging to nobody's demands, we do things on our own terms. Class organization.
