benji93: Sometimes it's just hard to criticize a player more talented than you are. They will always point out your lack of talent. End of story. "Maybe, if you had worked as much as I did", "you averaged 2,3 points in that series". I mean how can you defend that? Savage. Those make one's argument all the more irrelevant. I hope Perkins is doing alright. Perkins is one persistent guy too, he made sure his message came across, " you did work hard, but.....". We know in a team there are star players and role players. Kendrick knew what he was. KD who was a star what did he achieve with it? |

DeeMain: You need a good trading chip if you want such a good player and Kuzma is that piece for the Lakers. Lose some, gain some. Painfully so, I must admit. What we really need is some tough defensive wings, not duplicating what we already have. Bogdan is shooting 38% from 3 this year. KCP is on 42%, Green is on 38% Rondo is on 38%. Some variety won't be bad. |
Sports › Re: The NBA Begins by steady986(m): 4:05am On Jan 07, 2020 |
Khanben: If this is true the Lakers should jump on it Bogdanovic is as good as a playmaker and shot creator as Kyle kuzma and is a way better shooter than kuz. This is the kind of guy we should be chasing, not Collison . But I don't think we should give Kuzma up for him sha |

zelgiusdigby: One of the few people with a negative net rating with Lebron on the floor is rondo. I think he has the worst. Yes our second unit is not anything to write home about but he makes things infinitely worse. There's no way they should be that bad, no way they should be losing 30+ point leads to the suns and their ilk. It's not acceptable. You seem to have set the bar too high for this team. The only reason this team is considered championship favourites is because of the duo of LeBron and AD. Even one of them alone might not do the job. Take those two away and the team is just another average NBA team. We arguably had more talent around Bron last year, but how well did they fare when Bron was out? It is what it is bro, we just have to scale through to the playoffs and then figure out how we can maximize their potential. |
Sports › Re: The NBA Begins by steady986(m): 10:39am On Jan 06, 2020 |
zelgiusdigby: Crazy. Every single game now the Lakers build up a lead and then he checks in and the lead evaporates. Teams have had a negative net rating with him on the floor for a few consecutive seasons now. It's too obvious at this point that he's become a problem. You seem to forget that whenever Rondo's on the court, it's more likely the entire second unit is too. |
Sports › Re: The NBA Begins by steady986(m): 8:08am On Jan 06, 2020 |
zelgiusdigby: No one said he'll propel the Lakers to anything. The Lakers need a reliable playmaker and ball handler and he'll be an upgrade over the sh-t show that Rondo has become. Does getting collison mean a guaranteed chip? Nope. But it does make them better which is all a team can ever really aim to be. Then we should drop Bradley and Cook, cos there's really no need having all those guards. |
Sports › Re: The NBA Begins by steady986(m): 8:02am On Jan 06, 2020 |
zelgiusdigby: Did you just mention Rondo? Lol. You haven't been watching Lakers games have you? Bradley and Caruso have nothing to do with what collison brings to the table. Lakers need a playmaker more than they need a wing. Their second unit is horrible and that is mostly down to Rondo and it's affecting other bench players like kuzma. Rondo is not what he used to be. There's no one on earth who'll tell you Collison is a better playmaker than Rondo. No one. He might be having a bad patch of form in terms of playmaking, but we know what he can do. |
Sports › Re: The NBA Begins by steady986(m): 8:00am On Jan 06, 2020 |
Khanben: Help me to ask him ohh I don't understand how, all of a sudden, Collison is the guy the Lakers need to propel us to a championship. He's been an average guard all his career. And he has never lit up the playoffs before. He's just a better FT shooter than all these guys. I'd rather stick to the guys I have. |
Sports › Re: The NBA Begins by steady986(m): 7:52am On Jan 06, 2020 |
zelgiusdigby: Which guys? Rondo is a better playmaker, Bradley's as good a defender, if not better. And then there's Caruso who's as good a scorer |
Sports › Re: The NBA Begins by steady986(m): 6:17am On Jan 06, 2020 |
Khanben: If the Lakers can pull off three additions namely Crowder, Darren Colin's and Andre then they are good to go IMHO. Will be a nearly impossible task to get both Andre and Jae, seeing that they're both in the same team. I don't think we really need Collison, a lot of guys doing what he does. |

Sports › Re: The NBA Begins by steady986(m): 11:41am On Jan 05, 2020 |
We need to do all we can to get Jae Crowder, he is key, most especially against teams like the Clippers. It's no coincidence that Kawhi has shone against us two games running. That's because he doesn't have a proper defender of a similar size and strength to guard him. LeBron is supposed to be that guy but he won't do it because he's old, so I don't blame him. Get Crowder and we win that Clippers series 4-0. |
Sports › Re: The NBA Begins by steady986(m): 11:34am On Jan 05, 2020 |
Roland17: AD continues to carry the Lakers, he is younger and that is what is expected. However, if LeBum thinks this assist padding for MVP, putting up poverty numbers and deferring of offense will get him a championship ring with the Lakers then someone needs to wake him up! You sound salty. Leave our LeBron for us, we like him like that. |
Sports › Re: The NBA Begins by steady986(m): 7:24pm On Jan 04, 2020 |
zelgiusdigby: The lakers bench led by Rondo AKA "celtics double agent" is horrible. Two games in a row now the starters build up a sizeable lead but have to bring back bron and AD because they blew the lead. This is unacceptable. Not sustainable against good teams most regular season games and certainly not in the playoffs. Don't worry, folks play 42 mins per game in the playoffs |
Sports › Re: The NBA Begins by steady986(m): 12:19pm On Jan 02, 2020 |
zelgiusdigby: Cook or daniels or both. So what would be the PG hierarchy? Bradley Collison Rondo Caruso Collison Bradley Rondo Caruso There's way too many PGs there. I say get rid of Cook and Daniels and bring in forwards. |

So, if the Lakers get Darren Collison, who's going? Bradley, Rondo? One gotta go. Caruso's definitely staying. |

Eruditor: When I initially saw it on Instagram I went further to read comments from fans alike. I even did same on Reddit. The consensus was that it was not right. I personally did not like it. I said so.
What I actually find hypocritical is the people whose modus operandi is to cry more than the bereaved. They blamed GSW for his injury. Even when the player said otherwise. Then they criticised GSW for retiring his jersey and called it fake - claiming it was done to cover up for the injury. Now they want to also feign outrage that he was left out of a video. LOL. Just take the L on behalf of your organization and stop dodging the bullet. |
