entparrot: So how much should he value tokunbo 2004 camry?
The reason it might be available, is the 250k upfront payment. Most drivers don't have money. I wouldn't take that car for more than 2.6m on HP. |

oluwaseunla: Is your mobil-1 a mineral oil?
Some A.C.s can actually be scanned. As long as it has an AC module, you can scan it.
Scanning isn't same as diagnosis. Since the gist on sludge is trending, I decided to check the engine cap of one of my cars and mehn it looks really bad. The sludge no be small. Please what is the remedy for this? I use the normal Mobil mineral oil and I change oil every month. |

ridwanadedapo: One of the major reason we live below the average line Is cos of our believe, people spend most of their time praying for financial breakthrough without knowing what to do to be rich and just want to be rich anyhow which doesn’t work that way. My prayers are always ideas and connections to the right people. I was driving by a church on a Monday afternoon and if you see the way people were praying even the American rider was like this is f*** and to me it’s madness. Let’s change our thinking and prayer patterns. God Bless! Again, always be smart and be quick to read riders. Trust me billionaires are going to ride with you and u won’t know, millionaires will ride with you and they won’t say, it’s your personal attitude that will show you who they really are. Have met so many big people while driving UBER, it’s not just driving to me cos it’s more than that ( if you know you know) Treat people nicely no matter what and the narrative will change sooner than later. Thank God so far! Hmmm... The kind of mad connect I've made from driving uber ehn. Alhamdullilah! |

If I'm being honest, drivers are not having it easy this period. But they need to endure, surely the market will boom again. I see myself as a driver more than a partner even tho I have more than three cars on the platform because I drive full time as well. Drivers are probably agitating because they are no longer making more than the partners but they still make good money, more than enough to survive with your family. If you can manage to make 25k for yourself weekly, thats four times the country's minimum wage. Drivers should please calm down, the business will definitely pick up again. Heck, its picking up already. I also foresee that most of the current crop of drivers(graduates) will eventually lose the job to people that appreciate the average 25k/week more than them. Mr Dru, no fear. Business is still very good. |

A time is coming only people that own and drive their cars will survive in dis business. I think Govt needs to come in by regulating d fares. The fares are just too ridiculous, u need luck to make money these days. It shouldn’t be so Luck and a lot of serious prayers like the poster above. |

ifyeez: Picked up a rider, at yaba we went to broad street, on dropping him off front of CBN a request came in, I drove straight to the pickup location and called the lady, she said she’s at the back of UBA, I proceeded to her new location, there was a traffic light and a car in front of me, I picked my phone to call her to knw how am going to identify her coz that place is always crowded, when I was dialing the guy in front of me suddenly moved, and me too followed up not knowing the traffic light has not turned green, immediately I stopped, these guys rushed me, entered my car, I done start negotiations they said if I get to there office I will pay 90k and still go for training and go for psychology test too, buh if I want them to let me go I should pay 45k and they will let me go, I knw begging won’t change anything so I told them I had 5k, the almost slap me self for mentioning 5k when there saying 45k last. So we drove to there office side I started talking to one of them, that there’s no need of we going to the office that we can sort everything here, anyway last last I paid 20k till now I ve not gotten my self. This same people arrested one of my kolomental drivers. One naira dem no collect o. The boy has a mental problem I'm sure, always ready for trouble. |

That should last the whole month if you manage it well. The network is as strong as any data provider network around. It(network) almost doesn't get better than that. |

xana101: I've not driven on uber/taxify since this year. I've been busy with other business. I still read comments here and i hv some uber/taxify friends who keep me posted. I learnt request has drop drastically. I know it will come to that and even worst. Uber started very well. 2006 cars with exam b4 u can drive on uber. Taxify came, uber became scared and drop cars to 2000 model even d exam people now write for drivers. Taxify collect any how drivers once u can drive. The standard is bastardized. Taxify don't have standard at all. Gone are those days when u see graduates and A'level drivers on uber platform. I hope they bring back that standard b4 it get worst. Lol... They should work on getting more riders instead. |

ifyeez: Same issue bro, the business done cast, Uber cheap cheap fare ain’t worth it, also you hardly see surge during the week. Taxify is over saturated, anytime you check around you, you must see more than 10 cars awaiting requests as you, I pity the people buying new cars to enter the business. Driving on uber is such a waste of time. Taxify is more than enough abeg. |

dru23: Bro how far now? How request for your side ? I dey bro. Me sef manage do 14k gross yesterday despite starting by 1pm and closed at 9:45pm. I also believe the market is being flooded but it doesn't take anything away from the profitability of the business. No matter the "flood", I still make 40k net on Friday, Saturday and Sunday despite driving a Camry and I am one of the lazy drivers. If I was on rental, I wouldn't have a problem paying 40k, and keeping 30k for myself weekly. I also have to admit the job is stressful even though I really love driving. Yesterday's work was back to back and my body is really feeling the brunt now. Spent around 3k on drugs this morning. To prospective drivers that only hear about the money other drivers make, if you know in your mind that you don't have strength, please this job is not for you. Partners no go hear story sey your body dey pain you na why you no work oo. |

I want to join u guys in this uber stuff and am driving it my self any advice for me. You are so close, hustle a lil more and save 300k more. You should be able to get a Tokunbo corolla with 1.6m. A Tokunbo car gives peace of mind. Besides, the business is just picking up again, by the time your money is complete, "back to back" trips would have returned on a regular. |

Subudu: Hmm, there is a lot of dishonesty in the transport industry. I'm only thinking of Uber because there are a lot regulations. People like us don't like trouble and headaches. So, no, I won't be willing to invest in a transport business except Uber that has regulations on ground. Regulations? On Uber and Taxify? Bros shey you no dey read all the problems partners dey encounter with drivers on this thread? If you don't like stress and occasional head ache, then think twice before investing in "regulated" uber |
