NinjaMetahuman: countries you considered working have highest paid politicians in the world in 2023. Top 10 are either European, Asian or America.
Nigeria is not even in top 50 of the highest paid in the world.
The problem with Nigeria politics or Africa in general is instutional looting and bribery, not how much they pay politician.
It's hard to actually discuss stuff with someone that just wanna see everything through bias lens. Apc this apc that.
Like apc is the reason Nigeria is still in terrible state since 1960 and not just politicians generally. Can you give a list of countries with the highest paid politicians in the world and let's compare it with what is earned by Nigerian politicians aside the looting - I'm talking about salaries and allowances. Then compare it with the minimum wage in those countries and the minimum wage here. And yes, APC is the reason Nigeria is completely finished. Nigeria has never been this bad before APC came. There is bad and there is bad. Defending APC makes your brain stop functioning properly |

NinjaMetahuman: politicians receive a lot of money all over the world apart from their usual looting.
That's what makes politics attractive everywhere in the world. No working country in the world pays their politician like Nigeria. Or maybe like your leaders, you want to compare Nigeria with the worst countries because that's what's been happening since you guys helped bring APC into power Politicians in the developed world have more of power than money |

Nigeria labor union has to be the best in the world.
I don't see anywhere else this type of shit will be tolerated. No where else would tolerate the type of government we tolerate in Nigeria rather. Being paid peanuts while the politicians receive higher salaries than even those in the most developed and rich countries |

kunle4toyeyaho: Call it whatever you like, what accrues to federation account after the subsidy removal has geometrically increased. Hence, your state earns almost twice of what they were earning before. It didn't geometrically increased, like I said before, it's called INFLATION. Nigeria is earning in dollars and if Nigeria earned 1 million and exchanges it to 500,000 million naira, immediately the subsidy was removed and naira lost it values, same amount would give Nigeria 1 billion naira. And currently, same amount is giving Nigeria approximately 1.5 billion. Is this an increase? No, it's called Inflation |

Politics › Re: FG Laments High Cost Of Food by Stephench: 8:45pm On Feb 06, 2024 |
It's not the force of demand and supply. It's not the hoarding of foodstuff - perishable goods cannot be boarded. It's not the exporting if foodstuff to other countries - otherwise it would be good for our import based economy.
We all know the truth. It's the astronomical increase in fuel price and the rise of the dollar. Another contributing factor is the Fulani terrorists that chased farmers away from their farms.
How did the dollar rise suddenly and how did farming suddenly become a death sentence in Nigeria? Tinubu and Buhari that he installed should have the answer |

PressMyButton: Senseless comment, why can't you ask Govt to come and protect the transformer at your backyard or your compound gate. Sensible citizens take charge of public facilities in their domains and alert the security of any intruder. Stfu! It's not a senseless comment. How do you expect civilians to take charge of security when Fulani terrorists are posting videos on the internet with their faces uncovered but they don't get arrested? Insecurity is not the lack of information by the security operatives because all the terrorists are known people - they're not in hiding |

MADIFF: Great move, how can a Nigerian living in Nigeria have his or her savings in dollar?
Even dollar sent from diaspora NIGERIANs refuse to convert and spend it rather wait till the price goes up and they cash out.
Our problem is not the land or the leaders but the orientation of average Nigerian so corrupt and self centered, always money oriented above humanity. You are dumb. All citizens want values for their money. There's no country where it's the responsibility of the citizens to fight for their currency. In Nigeria, you're forced to trade against your currency. I didn't have a Dom account until the bank forced me to open one before I can be able to pay school fees for my brother. Then you'll turn around and blame me for opening a Dom account when the government policy literally forced me to? Why did the naira suddenly start going down when a clueless ineptitude inefficient government came into power if it's not the stupid leaders? |
Politics › Re: Operation Rescue NR: FG Considers Converting $30bn Domiciliary Deposits To Naira by Stephench: 8:27am On Feb 03, 2024 |
forgiveness: This is the best way to go. Convert dollar to naira immediately it enters the domiciliary account, and make sure nobody receives dollar in the bank.
Provision should be made to convert naira to dollar with atm card only if you're in America and naira to other countries currency in other countries.
I could remember when we used atm card to withdraw cedis in Ghana even withouthaving a domiciliary account. Buhari destroyed that system to favor aboki selling dollars. You no well. So if someone go BDC go buy dollars to make dollars payment, make dem convert am to dollars? |

Who dem wan deceive? I went to pay school fees for my brother and I was forced to open a domiciliary account and went all over Abuja looking for where to buy dollars to fund it and make the payment.
They made it impossible for citizens to make any foreign payment with naira accounts and forced to open domiciliary account to do that then turned around to whine about citizens opening domiciliary account. Are these politicians normal at all? They spend all their time looking for how yo shift blames on citizens but some of us are not Dundees like most people |

emapeteum: This is absolutely nonsense. You so ignorant of what Islam say about the Jews and the murder of the Jews by Muhammad in Arabian peninsula Christianity and Judaism are two side of a coin:both used Bible except Christianity has a new testament in addition.Christianity is a confirmation of the old testament. Though Christians persecuted the Jews in the middle age but played a very significant role for the re-establishment of the modern state of Israel. Islam call for the killing of all the Jews but Christians send resources to those who were massacred by your brothers ,Hamas. In conclusions, I think you are the one that is ignorance. You're just imagining things and arguing with someone that has actually lived with Jews including Zionists. Jews and Muslims are at loggerheads but when it comes to religion, they're 100% more at ease with Muslims than with Christians. They call y'all idolaters and abhore and hate you with passion. They can pray with Muslims and pray in a mosque but when it comes to churches, no Jew would ever contemplate that. I've casually interviewed Jews on this and they explained some things to me Mind you, I'm neither a Christian, a Jew nor a muslim. I'm an atheist |
