Same as 190. Check the states sponsoring your occupation and check their requirements and how to apply. You have to apply to the state first.
Ok thanks will check it out.

So, finally it is my turn to testify, the Lord has done it. Like someone mentioned some days back, it will get to a time that one would just get tired of checking mails every morning expecting that grant and just concentrate on other things, I have been like that for some weeks now, only for me to check my mail on a Saturday morning and the grant catwalked in.

It all started last year November when I assessed my qualifications with ACS and they broke my heart with negative outcome based on the fact that my degree isn't equivalent to Aussie Bsc and I needed 4years experience to qualify. I gave up at that moment until when someone here opened my eyes to the possibility of going with TRA so I did and got a positive outcome, even though they were silent on the level of education I went ahead to claim the maximum point for a Bsc, this was my fear with DIBP, alas it came out well.

It's a 489 visa, and my advice for some especially the single ones, if 190 is taking time to get coz of your English test or something, just go with the 489 instead of continuous waiting, before you know it another policy will come up. My occupation was for 190 initially, the day i was to apply for state nomination was when they moved it to 489, so i decided to just go on with it.

Thanks to everyone that has helped me one way or the other and I pray for those still in process, it will land sooner than you think.

Pls anyone that has info on if IOM help with travel tickets for 489 applicants and the process should pls advice.
Though am praying to have a favorable ielts score of 8 each so I can have 70 but Sud incase I have a 60pts, pls how do I go about the nomination thingy for 489.
Christianity EtcRe: 10 Reasons You Must Tithe! by stepo707: 9:56am On Nov 05, 2017
9japrof:
Tithing is corruption in the church, tithing has ceased to exist, from the inception of Christianity, it has ceased

Tithing in the past was given to the levites tribe who never recieved landed inheritance among the twelve tribes of isreal. So Jehovah made provisions that they feed from every one tenth that was presented by the other tribes of Israel. They were priests by calling,(hereditary) and they never had any other job excepting helping in offering sacrifices on behalf of other Israelites in the temple.

What do we have now? Rouges in church robes, from the advent of Christianity, tithing ceased because the Hebrew nation(Judaism) lost God's favour and their worship no longer accepted, that is why today Christians no longer need to do animal sacrifices to appease God, so since no animal sacrifices, do you need the priest for the sacrifices?

Check out the Christian Greek Scriptures(New Testerment) there were no indications that tithing arrangement continued after the prior, during or after the death of Jesus Christ. Contributions were only made to take care of needs of the congregation or during a disaster. There were no indications that the apostles of those times profited from the gospel, Peter continued in his fishing business, Paul after dumping his law profession learnt tent making to support himself materially and so were many disciples. They never collected tithes or contributions from their congregation for their personal use or consumption

Let's assum Paul who was a missionary back then was like the stupid greedy money conscious rouge pastors of today, he would have lorded it over the congregation back then to contribute and buy him a luxury ship, he can always use to sail for his missionary journeys, but no he boarded merchant ships even under the harshest of weather and boarding conditions and there were no indications whatsoever that the congratulations paid for those trips.

All pastors who collect tithes and convert to personal gains are rogues, criminals any name you deserve to give them. What they practice is corrupt form of Christianity
During Bible times, people whom God used for miracles never collected "kickbacks" for doing such miracles, neither did they profit from their spiritual work. Gehazi one of of Elishas servants who collected a gift gifted by Naaman that was rejected by Elisha previously was struck with leprosy. If Jesus Christ, his disciples and apostles of Bible times rejected gifts and self enrichment from the gospel, who the hell are these rogues to do otherwise.

Church contributions should be for maintenance of facilities and for disaster relieve and not into some useless pastors pockets for consumption. This confirms that their powers for operation are not even from God because when God gifts You a gift, maybe healing, prophesy etc and you misuse it, he takes back that power from you, but we see pastors all over the world eating fat while deceiving the congregation with false teachings of tithing. Pastorism now is a profession, where one goes for a course like it's tertiary education, qualifies opens a church while being lazy and the congregation keeps feeding him fat from their poor donations.

SIf Jesus were to visit physically churches of today, what will be his reaction today? When he sees the commercialism that goes in the church today, where all sorts of financial and economic messages are passed in the church while diluting the message about the kingdom of God and salvation( MMM was actively preached in the church by many pastors, Google the pictures are there in the internet). If Jesus was to be physically present in the church, what would be his reaction when he sees that different sections of church are being called out to carry their monetary donations in their hands and come out to recieve prayers according to the amounts one contributes( different prayer for 10 million, 5 million, 1 million, 10,000 and 100 naira donors).
What would be Jesus reaction to find out that PoS machines are now being pass round the church to ensure that you must drop money, even if you claim that you don't have physical cash, no wonder quite a number of people save themselves the embarrassment of going to church if they are broke.
Lemme tell you what Jesus would have done if he were physically present in any church and see the commercialism in the church, he would still do the same thing he did in the temple back then when he overturned the table of money exchangers, and claimed that the house of his father was for worship, while they have converted it as a den of robbers. What is now been done in churches are even worse now.

Now is time to take a step, a commercial church can never be from God, if it were, God would have taken back his power and support from them. Miracles that commercial churches do can never be from God, else when they recieve "kickbacks" for the healings they do, God would have withdrawn that ability to heal from them, meaning these churches that collect kickbacks and still continue healing collect their powers from a different source.

Now is the time to sit at home, do an honest research of the scriptures, do an honest and fervent prayer to God that you want to know the truth and serve him in a way and manner HE wants. He will surely answer your prayers
I love your contribution.God bless you for this

I weep whenever I read the book of Ecclesiastes. Though I am agnostic, I feel like it was written because of me. We are all dust and will return to dust. I felt so troubled in my heart about earthy things one day while I was driving, I just came down from my car and gave some random person I never knew my ipad and some cash( I didn't even count). There is nothing in life, we only have one life to live. Make good use of it. Break limitation and be remembered. How many wealthy men do you look up to without their money? People value worthy men not money
Just read all your post.i would say am inspired by your wisdom and knowledge particularly about life.youbhave a fan.
Meanwhile do you mind me asking why you chose being agnostic?

You yes can apply for EOI with 60pts ,
however 60pts is currently not gonna hack it for 2631 visa 189... however you can opt for visa 190 or visa 489.

This is how EOI and points work...

We get asked this question quite a lot here at Getting Down Under and to be honest, it’s a pretty difficult question to answer because there are so many dependencies to being successful.

Sure, you have a confirmed occupation in demand, you have reached the points threshold and English language requirement, however, there is something that’s really difficult to take account for, and that’s the other applicants.

You see, once you have registered an Expression Of Interest with SkillSelect, you are automatically ranked against the other Australian visa applicants who have also applied.

Your ranking is based on the information you provide within your EOI. EOIs are ranked using points achieved on the skilled migration points test. A prescribed pass mark will be set as the minimum points score required for each visa category.

Where you have the same number of points as another applicant, then this equally scoring EOIs will be separated by the time of submission with earlier submission dates ranking more highly.

Now let’s look at a few scenarios to see how this would work in practice.

Australian EOI Scenario 1

So in the above scenario, you have qualified for an Australian skilled Visa with 65 points. You have been added to the SkillSelect queue for your occupation.

As you have qualified with more than the minimum number of points for this occupation (in this example the minimum is 60 points), you will receive an application before those applicants who have qualified with only 60 points.

The small number of applicants who have qualified with more than 65 points or those who have the same number of points as you but registered their EOI before you will be invited first.

EOI Scenario 2

In this second scenario, with 65 points you have joined your fellow applicants at the front of the SkillSelect queue.

Even though these applicants registered with SkillSelect months before you did. As your points score is higher. You will be invited to apply for a skilled visa first

Australian EOI Process – Scenario 3

In this final scenario, you’ve completed your EOI and feel pretty good about yourself. Despite only needing 60 points to qualify for your application, you’ve managed to score 65 points.

What you don’t know, however, is there is a large number of applicants who have been waiting for an invitation with even more points.

In this instance, even though you have qualified with a high points score. The fact that there are applicants with even more points means that you will not receive an invitation until these applicants receive an invitation first.

Other Considerations

After submitting your EOI, you can view your point score; however, because your ranking is continuously changing as new EOI’s are submitted and invitations issued, you will not see your ranking.

Your EOI will stay in SkillSelect for a maximum of two years. At any time during the validity of your EOI, you can update your details to reflect any additional qualifications or experience you might have obtained. This might increase your likelihood of being invited or an employer contacting you.

After each invitation round for the independent and skilled regional (provisional) sponsored visas, the Australian government published via the SkillSelect website, the lowest points test mark for which an EOI received an invitation.

This will give you an indication of your potential for receiving an invitation in future rounds.

Thanks bro.now I understand this whole thing The 60 points was based on the face they I will have 10points in my ielts.i pray I can get a 20points but some factors we can't determine like score that u will be given at speaking test and also writing test.
So how do I go about been nominated for 190 or 489 in other to get more point?

What I don't get is at what point do you need to pay the 3670? Cos I saw on Thier site that EOI is free.
Is it that after you have been accessed and then when they want to give you the visa you then pay the 3670 or you have to pay immediately?
