Start from reading the Quran with an objective mind. Also, read the book I recomended. I have several things I can tell you about religion of Islam, and his Prophet Muhamed to butress my points. But what will I gain winning an argument?

My much concern is for you to free yourself from the mental slavery and the lies you have been told and made to believe.

You were born a victim of religion because you did not actively choose your religion. It is the religion you met your parent doing. If your parent were to be buddist, that is the religion you will claim. You should not die in ignorance. Vibrate yourself from mental slavery.

Educate yourself about Islam, the religion of Allah. It is a dangerous and fake imported religion of paganism and idol worshiping.

My own be say, Muslims that are quick to insult Christians faith are always quick to react if reverse is the case...

There's one washed up lines that makes me laugh whenever I come across it, it says, there's no compulsion in religion, that statement is a big fat lie, at face value you'd think the adherents have cool breeze blowing through their head but try apostasy or blaspheme you'd receive the Stephen treatment.

In a nutshell, I don't read any religious texts as an allegory or simply believes it's metaphoric, I read it in the literal sense just to keep my head before any blood sucking fanatic twist the whole thing.
