i appreciate the muslims a lot!!
merry xmas to everyone!!! People kill people not guns. Blame the wrong people using religion as an excuse for their actions, religion did and is still doing so many good things in this world but you chose to ignore them. Merry Christmas to you and your family. |

That was a fvcking national and international disgrace! Now you’re getting my point, it’s not common in Nigeria that was why he was shocked, the so called international disgrace is nothing but normal in modern politics around the world so don’t try to make something out of nothing. |

AreaFada2: Look, many of those actors were properly trained actors. Some were/are even lecturers in theater arts, Mass Com, etc.
Some began acting for peanuts back then, but they were passionate actors.
You cannot compare seasoned stage actors like Pa Olu Jacobs, late Justus Esiri and others with modern ones. The aforementioned were even trained in Europe & acted in European theaters in their youth. Mr Esiri already began stage acting as an engineering student in Germany. Pa Jacobs trained and acted extensively in UK before coming to National theater in Lagos. Like Late Sam Loco Efe also had a stage career previously.
Even many of our current top Nollywood stars would make abysmal stage actors, where no chance to double take scenes and lives & actions must be delivered perfectly live & direct.
I remember taking amateur acting lessons at university, it's one of the most intense and tasking things you can do: your posture, breathing, movement, body language, facial expressions and the most minute things have to sync perfectly. It was fun though.
Like you rightly observed, when mediocrity & glitz is out ahead of quality & expertise, the result is dire. Nollywood is the obvious victim.
RIP to a wonderful thespian. Absolutely spot on. I was shocked to find out most top movie award judges in Europe and America started from live stage, though most of them are not so very rich but they command more respect in the movie industry than the richer and more famouse actors we see on Hollywood big screen. A real musician/actor must know how to perform live with out the effects of modern technology. |

ICC are bunch of hypocrites, there is nothing the Nigerian military has done that US, Russia, Saudi Arabia, etc haven't don't x10. These people have bombed Hospitals, schools, churches, mosques, homes, (killed thousands of Innocent kids), yet everyone is acting like they are saint.
Think man, Nigeria has brought peace to Humanity than US and Russia put together, at least we brought stability to Liberia, Sierra Leone and Gambia all at our expenses. Tell me one country these western countries have stabilized, just mention one. They give you singlet in the name of peace in public but secretly ask for suite as pay back. They all criminals and should ask why and who really caused the war in Libya and Syria. Libya crisis was a well orchestrated inside job and each rocket fired by NATO during the peace intervention has a price tag attached to it that must be paid in cash or crude oil. When will NATO intervene in Yemen and other poor countries with instability, Who and who really is united inside ICC and U.N with their useless veto previledges. |

What I hate the most is when they go about acting like they're innocent, caring and supportive of a country.
To hell with them and their fake news. You nailed it. Truth is no country is completely free or innocent when it comes to Crime against humanity. Check out, an American citizen working with Washington Post was murdered by Saudi secret agents inside the Saudi embassy in Turkey and United States has not/is not taking action, bet if it was Iran or North Korean government involved the world would be shaking by now. Saudi got the oil and money America needs for now so they remain friends until they get tired of them like Libya, then a new bride from middle East will take over kissing the Western countries secret dirty ass. |

YoungLionken: The only thing all these international agencies are good at is keeping bad remarks/records about Africa. All they do is to lay false claims on human rights. Hundreds of people die and displaced in Nigeria as a result of the insurgency in the northeast, but all they do is to keep records for negative purposes. What happens to the UN giving marching orders to the five security council to annihilate those blood-sucking terrorists from Nigeria and Syria? Of course I know that those terrorists won't last one month if all the countries of the world fully support their fellow countries. Terrorists buy weapons from thesame people who claimed to care about the well-being of the people. Yes, you guys don't want to assist for personal interests best known to you, but please stop adding more salt to sore ! When new weapons are made what do you think happens to the old stock? They are sold to the those who need it, when sales are down what do the Western countries do? They create chaos in versatile developing countries that will lead to war then market their old stock of weapons to the people fighting there via proxies to recover from expenses/loss and also gain control. Take Libya, Syria and now Yemen as a yardstick. Bring peace to the world and see some so called top world countries fall from the world list or food chain as I love to call it. It's all about money, power and respect finally. |

Loyalty is one of the epitome of street cred. Ubi is the Dr. Dre of Tecknos Eminem though Tecno is big enough based on Naija standard to go solo with his own label but he is still holding on to his roots, this reminds of Eminem when he started shady music label. He always echoed shady aftermath ( Aftermath is founded by Dr. Dre) in almost all his tracks not because he was not famous enough to go solo but because remembered and held on to his roots to stardom, all thanks to Dr. Dre. |
