But why would I wanna fly Saudia Airline when Delta Airline is there to start with? Airline that can be on suicidal mission at anytime? Fly it at your own risk ... hahaha |
It’s because Nigeria is a failed state and they (US govt) know majority of those applying want to get out of it |
PenGriffey:Mine was when I clinched my second IT remote job in the states. The saddest was when I lost my mother-in-law few weeks ago and it overrides that joy |
Ejiod:That’s right... the exam is $150 took the training on Linux academy sometimes in February but the syllabus already changed now from the old one. I do have some materials on the AWS Solution Achitech exams but not sure if it’s a genuine dump. I also have a genuine and confirmed dump for the AWS Certified Developer - Associate exams (meanwhile it will expire on November 19, 2018) Both are same syllabus somehow though ![]() |
jamoyakz:Sorry I just saw this ... I will post my transcript which I posted on visajourney site because I can’t remember all ‘cos it’s been a little while: CO: I can see its your fianc who petitioned for you CO: How long have you guys known each other? CO: How does she gets to the US? CO: How many times has she visited? CO: How long is she staying this time around? CO: What does she do? CO: Whats her role at the place of work? CO: Do you have a relative at the US? CO: I see you’re from Nairaland (she smiles and I was so surprised how she figured out ... we then started talking about Nairaland gist and how she usually help people there - basically Nairaland gist for like 2 mins of the time. - It was the VO who usually responded to questions on immigrants section that was transferred few years ago) CO: Ok. All your paper works are perfectly in order and your responses are as it contained in the papers therefore I am approving your visa. CO: You will need to get me another co-sponsor and submit the docs along with your passport to this address on this sheet (handed me a white paper with an address) and then pick up your visa two weeks after you submit same. She didnt check any of the evidences/documents I went with (I had just 7 pics with me lolz) (I GOT ANOTHER SPONSOR 4 DAYS AFTER MY INTERVIEW AND SUBMITED MY PASSPORT THEREAFTER, MY VISA WAS PRINTED 7 DAYS LATER) All thanks to God, my fiance for her support, all members of VJ and the amiable CO on Nairaland ... God bless y'all and wish everyone in this journey a very goodluck ... |
Haha ... honourary Goergia State citizen doesn’t equate US citizen ... stop confusing people with your caption. He still needs a valid visa to travel in and out of USA as far as he’s not a GC holder or US citizen (blue passport holder). |
Nice thread ... relocated to US via K1 ... cool and smooth process ... |
Nice one ... I only have concern about the safety of that little boy ... He’s too exposed for o danger, sitting under that keke napep with any PPE on can cause more harm than good. But not too young to learn ... for those of you shouting go to school or learn maths and physics, there are very sound engineers in developed countries that don’t even know any laws in physics because they didn’t even complete high school... Naija we too carry certificate for head ![]() |
So she only deliberately wear a natural look for her pastorial ordination purpose and the ordination, she’s back to her makeup face as usual... Smh ... hypocrites everywhere ... Naija which way biko |
Always wondering why they don’t have openings for technical jobs like Support Engineers, DBA, etc in Nigeria but have in India, Malasia and other countries |
What went wrong and where did we go wrong? ... |
Can’t wait to have my mum around too ... Still can’t understand why the VO refused her visa ... But won’t stop applying for her to visit until they grant her that visa o |
This is Nigeria ... unfortunately, all these defections are for selfish reasons and not for the sake of Nigerians or masses ... smh |
LadyGuinivere:I don’t mean to extend this issue than necessary nor had intention to comment on it earlier but this your post really got me to talk ![]() People like that dude are those who make it difficult for the genuine guys with good intentions to travel get refused because those VOs don’t even trust anyone no more in Nigeria irrespective of their age now or status now ... it’s so sad As for your comment on VOs reading this thread, just to affirm your point, when I was in the process of migrating to the states, I was interviewed by the former VO (the woman who responds to people on Immigrant thread then before she was transferred out of Naija) she called my username out and said the moment she picked my file, she knew it was me from Nairaland ... so pls dudes let’s try to be straight and honest...Still trying to get over my Mum’s yesterday refusal ... |
BarrONLS:The word automatic visa got me laughing lolz ... I’m sorry about that though. Is the daughter filing for them to migrate or just did o visit? |
KDK:Many thanks @KDK, Sure I did send her mine and that of my wife ... but she said the VO didn’t even look at any of the documents she goes with. I also suspected the same thing like you did on the issue of the period she wants to stay but that was just the truth cos she has to take care of some other family related issues back home which won’t make her stay longer. I will reapply for her and possibly travel down just to follow her to the venue (I sure know I won’t be allowed in but just to boost my mum’s confidence a little bit because I know she fidget a lot so that might be another reason) Thanks for your advice bro |
Some posts up here crack me up ... Well, guys my mum attended her interview today as stated on here before now seeking for advice and she was denied .I invited her to visit me here ... btw, I migrated to US legally so that’s out of the reasons I can think of. Meanwhile, below is her transcripts as I was told: Mum: Good morning VO: Good morning madam VO: Where are you going to in US Mum: Bleep state VO: who is inviting you Mum: My son, to visit him and his family VO: How many kids did he have Mum: 1 VO: how old is the child Mum: 2 years VO: what do you do Mum: Business VO: What type of business? Mum: xxxxxxx yyyy zzzzz VO: how long do you want to stay Mum: 3 months VO: but 3 months is too small you can stay a bit longer than that Mum: No just 3 months is what I plan to stay VO: how many kids you have Mum: 3 (2 here and 1 in US) VO: how long has your son been in the states Mum: Bleep years VO: sorry bla bla bla Still trying to fathom what went wrong... I will reapply for her one more time again, thereafter, file for her. Guys did anyone see anything wrong with her responses or could it be the current waves of rejection going on? |
This is cool |
Cool |
KDK:Congrats bro and hope you enjoy your upcoming visit here. I invited my mom for a visit and her date is in two weeks time. Do you by chance noticed if parents who plan to visit their kids here being denied too? Just curious ![]() |
toluene23:Thanks so much ... I will post her transcripts here as it plays out after her interview. I agree that the 57k ($160) would add up to large amount but just like someone already said above, I doubt if that amount would actually ‘pull a hair off US skin’ even if nobody applies for visa in Nigeria for the next 10 years sef . The country is blessed enough not to feel it. They’re making more internally here compared to what they’re generating from embassies. Besides, those embassies are funded by bonds/budget every year through tax and not applicants visa fees ... As matter of fact, they stand to loose way more on each wrong applicant they issued visa to and become illegal immigrants here by just paying $160 for visa fees. God should help us take away all these selfish leaders we have right now and give us a new beginning of joy again in our Nigeria and the traffic to the embassy would reduce ![]() |
buzu84:That’s right, looks like not many people writing the exams in Nigeria with the response rate to this thread. I bought a sample questions/dump from online for $90 and took the exam in the states ... failed it ‘cos the dump contains wrong questions from the real exam. ![]() I’m planning to retake the exams again before August though. |
Oh wow ... going through few last pages got me scared that it has gotten to this ... but seems like it’s been this way for a very long time before now ... though I maybe wrong. I invited my mum for a visit but all the stories here are somehow discouraging ... hopefully everything goes well on July 9th with her interview ![]() |
Hmmmnn this is getting more serious every day |
Hi all, Pls has anyone taken the AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate exams recently? If yes, pls how did it go and what materials do you use in study? Thanks |
Nigeria Police is far from being fairly ok ... full of terrible animals in uniform. Dumb ass people |
One thing have come to realize is that we are our own problems |
This could get him a job faster if it’s in countries like US. Nice concepts ... he can get an international remote jobs if he search very well with his talent ... nice one |
ICAN ... However, none of them guarantees automatic job but ICAN is the most credible one of them all ... my opinion |
Wasted generation with empty brains |
Sounds more like Yemi Alade’s style ... well maybe not |
The time you’re using in posting this on here might get you to miss that flight. If you don’t need it, am sure some folks would be ready to pay double to get on that flight ASAP. No be naija wey we dey ... I once checked in online and only to get to the airport and was told I already missed the flight while people are still boarding. Naija i hail |
