jpphilips: Good for your uncle, doesn't stop me from peeing in my pants once your uncle announces that a Nigerian pilot is cruising us at 30,000 feet. I no fit risk am. Nigerians lack humanities as such should never be trusted with life at any level, professional or not. Listen to yourself... First you won't evven know his Nigerian... Second, I don't think you like your life more than he loves his own. ...and tell that to Peter Bello, I'm sure he wouldda wanted to do many more flights. I though you had a strong base for your. I wonder how you developed such phobia. Nigerian pilots are well trained and highly rated among their counterparts around the world. My Uncle here in the US is a captain of a B747-400... He has proven himself to become one of the elites. |

baby124: How come they all didn't have life jackets on. 12 people in a helicopter seems like a lot. Abi these helicopter companies are also acting like molue like our airplanes. If they had their life jackets on, they would all have survived even if they nose dived. Or at least start jumping one after the other in the water with their life jacket on as the plane is going down. There is no way they didn't know that the plane was going to crash. Several people saw it flying low with very loud noise. O boi, I would have opened the door and jumped as soon as I can see the water is close enough to jump into. This is why everyone should know how to swim. It is a life and death skill You've watched way too much Jackie Chan movies...Na so e easy to jump? When things like that happen, there's usually no time to "line up and begin to jump". |

HIT LIKE IF YOU WANT BUHARI TO INCLUDE ARIK AIRLINES ALONG WITH BRISTOW WHEN PROBES BEGIN. CRAZY MOFOS. Sadly this is not about Arik or Bristow or whatever... The aviation sector needs a total overhaul. The industry is too delicate for stakeholders not to be held accountable. They can probe all the airlines all they want...fact is, the sector needs the much needed change. |

The medias all over the world are talking about this accident, photos are there http://www.naij.com/517086-paper-review-oil-workers-killed-helicopter-plunges-lagos-lagoon.html . I hope they will find the real reason of this horrible event I'm sure they wont... the ones that happened in the past did you hear anything...Come next week it's gonna be business as usual. rkarang: How about John F. Kennedy, NY? How can one get a cheap flight deal...? You gotta check through all the major airlines. Some folks on here have advised to try to book in the middle of the night to check the best deals. Booking a few weeks before travel is also good. Check Arik too. |

zenithforce: pls can someone help me understand how choosing multiple destinations works in booking a ticket. For example traveling from Lagos to New York through Dubai. Then, do I need a visa to stop at the firststop which in this case is Dubai? You don't need a visa... You're a transit passenger. You're gonna stay in the airport all through your layover. |

When I was preparing for my interview, I read a transcript of someone who got his visa on the 7th attempt. Every individual's case is different though, it all makes the story to have a sweet ending. DeeTus: If you meet someone who rejected you before? You tell the person you have come again and your dreams of studying abroad lies in his hand with a smile
The next question he or she will ask would be have you travelled out of Nigeria before?
You reply, not really till now. I've got a scholarship sort of.
Believe me, he or she would approve your visa.
One thing most people don't know is that VOs follow up what you say and ask questions toward the same direction. Na So. We just would never know why she was denied again. I just find it odd she was interviewd by the same person. I've read transcripts here where VOs transfers your case to another VO if he/she conducted the last interview. LagosNIV could you please clarify this. |

But I'm of the opinion that the same person cannot interview you a second time consecutively. I remember reading them somewhere, something about "fresh eyes" reviewing your case again.
