This is part of the prayer that Christ prayed to God the Father for the safety of His disciples just before He was arrested. The full prayer is in John 17; 5-26 , read it.
I can see that the concept of the Holy Trinity is what's difficult for you to grasp and you're getting confused because of it.
Even though Christ and God are One, Christ is under God but he is not lesser than God.

The verse you quoted is refering to Jesus.

The passage identified Mary as the mother of Jesus! It doesn't claim Mary is the mother of any other person!

It says Mary is the mother of Jesus and that Jesus has other relatives, but nowhere does it say that Mary is the mothers of those relatives.

It simply means that Christ is the living word of God. It is through the power of that Word the all things visible and invisible were created. The Word expresses the Mind and Will of God. Christ is the word of God made flesh, He and God are One because He's the expression of God's Thought.

The book of revelation mentions that those who will be saved are the ones keeping the Faith of Jesus. I don't see where giving a tenth of your earnings to some random individuals calling themselves pastors come into play here. You can't buy your way to heaven. Same way paying tithe won't make you rich God is not a bookie. You can't stake a tenth of what you earned in anticipation of getting it back in multi fold. God doesn't need your money. The people that need it to survive are the ones asking you for it.
