peptola:
your call does not spur action and too many loose bits. since you're speculating, price and time should be first contemplated and can then be vaguely specified. "not this week" is too vague. "FBNH can still go either way" is also vague. "...respite"; vague. "... but they are still going down" this is clearly a good example because stocks are always heading down in a bear market, it's predicting a detailed heading up that's the tricky part. Also my prediction for a turnaround has little to do with any new 52 week low.
Market, starting with a couple of stocks like Zenith bank, will begin to turn around on Friday if not tomorrow. Then by next week others will follow. Zenith offered good price @ N10.52 today, closed @ 10.96 though 11.00 was expected. If it trades lower tomorrow - take it!
As for FBNH i think we should be patient. Fbnh has buttomed out or at worse has one more day loss/recovery signal to make! |

Manonamission: On Fidelity; Fidelity is not a buy at current price. If I had it in my portfolio, I would be looking to sell asap. Good dividend declaration by the bank might not yield considerable price appreciation because the market so far in not responding to such news. One can also argue that the current price already reflects the anticipated price target.
This is a personal opinion. Bros the market has a mind of its own, and can spring surprises! |

So such a country is where you will advice foreign investors to put their fund
For your info I 've been in Nigeria for some wks now with some foreign investors looking for a reliable franchise for their products but at the end of our research we discovered the economy is in total mess and we don't ve a choice but to jet back in a couple of days from now.
This is what happens in a country where the president presents a Nepa bill in place of a certificate. We know this country needs fixing. But I must say that from ur persistent negative and discouraging posts( i e for those who choose 2 b discouraged), u must be a frustrated Nigerian with a bleeding heart who have been personally and seriously dealt with. |

megainvest: Congtats to Zenith crew. Fear not the current irrational trend of dividend apathy. I believe as the closure date draws closer, people will be more desperate to buy. Yep. So watch out for afriprud from Friday! It still has a very good dividend yeid compared to the banks at current price! |
Investment › Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by stokfrick: 6:12pm On Mar 15, 2016 |

peptola: I was giving the FCMB warning so we could avoid a situation like this, which has happened a couple of times already.
I am also aware that “crisis breeds opportunity” so I am convinced FCMB will have an eventual rally that could be more rewarding than what is happening with Oando.
Pls take note that Oando and FCMB are most definitely not mutually exclusive so the current trajectory of oando will demand a response from FCMB. There is a rally coming for FCMB.
As for Zenith, result will come out tomorrow; price will shoot. The current price of N12.40 is on schedule (judging from history And if result doesn't come out tomorrow? |
