just got admitted to study medicine and surgery at the Univeristy of Nigeria Nsukka (direct entry)

ohnyore: paid the acceptance fee today,and also printed out the admission slip, but i am seeing something funny, it seems they are starting direct entry students from 100 level, cos its showing current level 100 level.

lol. Its an error that will be rectified during clearance. So don't worry about it.

I have oh. Anything? Paid mine at diamond bank here in Abuja. The only wahala is filling my data form online but it looks like the problem is getting solved. U can use diamond, first or eco bank. That's the best way to avoid long talk at the bank.

hahaha danox, abeg oh....gather everything you can. All ur certificates and all....leave nothing to chance. Cos during clearance u might meet one angry dude/babe that will try sth funny.

It just means checking ur credentials and uploading them to the schools datbase...
Since uniben hasn't even released names on their own official website I really doubt there's any point worrying...just wait for them to initiate sth first...

UNN cut-off for MedSurg dis year was 290 and I had 310 and wasnt offered admission. I went to the admission officer and complained..guess what she said?? she said since I registered with an awaiting result and there was no interview to acertain my qualifications, I wasn't chosen. The way she was talking it seems there won't be a second DE list..she evn insinuated that since I'm a bright student I can wait for next years admission #TUFIA! ALU!

UNN cannot kill u...God forbid! I've been dodging this place because of the bad news I've been seeing.....I'm sorry abt all this. But pls don't allow naija to kill ur spirit. Its sad but u'll survive and its not over yet. Frankly what happened to u is just unfair. U especially are not meant to be going through this because ur score is very high...I dunno what's happening dis year....let's just see what God is up to.

Its not very easy to know that because the supplementary list was for both direct entry and utme candidates...
There were 80names on the list for mbbs...but I can't tell which were for direct entry students......ndo...I know dis isn't a real answer...sorry.

I don't really know oh. Cos the names for mbbs on the supplementary list were mixed (both direct entry and utme).
80 names were published for mbbs...but I can't tell u how many where for mbbs. I'm sorry....wish I could help more...

First, let us congratulate those who have made it both in the merit list and first supplementary list, its a thing of joy and i say congratulations to those involved. Those of you who have seen their names in the daily sun mewspaper of 15th November, 2013 page 50-54 should kindly go and pay their acceptance fee because you have gotten admission, you are now lions and lionesses. The names will be uploaded on UNN website soonest.
This year will be better in trems of admission like I said earlier before now in one of my previous posts. Judging from the number of names in last year's first supplementary list which was 1080, this year's first supplementary list contains 1727 names in it. UNN stil has about 1582 names to release if they should make it like previous years and some of you will stil make it in the next list though it may not be upto that number but the most important thing is for you to be hopeful and prayerful and if possible do what you can to know if you will be among the next lucky ones. There are some departments that were not advertised during supplementary that have names in them like i said during the time the sale supplementary form was on. There also some departments that have less number of admitted candidates than the number they advertised, that shows that there are still vacants and hope. I hereby wish you people good luck!
