If the cert is out then pls use it. But if the cert is not out yet, I'm sure u can explain to the clearance officer. They might need u to buy the waec scratch card so that they can verify it themselves....

I should probably add that nony1 is right. If ur certificate is ready its in ur best interest to go and get it. I guess it depends on when u wrote waec. If its up to 3yrs ago..u no get excuse but if its recent....then just print it out and buy a scratch card for verification.
