Wow. I scored 76% and frankly only used jamb past questions. I solved as many as I could from 1978 down to 2009. For uniben its really important to finish english jamb past questions. They usually lift questions directly from there. Just do ur best dear. U're probably more prepared for unibens DE than u know.

I've always preferred the direct entry route. But I understand what he is saying. Cos it was just by Gods grace that I got into MBBS in UNN with my 2.2. Biochemistry is a tough department but nothing is impossible with hard work.

Ah! okay. I understand. I'm a 2:2 student myself (microbiology) so I know how it can be getting into medicine via direct entry. Well, welcome brother. And I sincerely wish u the best. The key to jamb is past questions oh. Buy the jamb question booklets and dedicate 3months to finishing them ALL. U'll be shocked at ur performance in JAMB. And about ur G.P.A...u still have time. Anything can be turned around once u're determined. That's a lesson I learned late in school. Once again all the best....

Okay...unijos, uni ilorin, unn, uni ibadan, and unilag are all the same level when it comes to medical college. They all have the capacity to carry 150students and catchment isn't a major issue since they're federal universities. However, as lomax said, all medical schools in nigeria produce internationally competent doctors...so any medical school u go to whether IMSU or UNIIbadan or UNIjos will be just fine. Ofcourse federal schools will give u less stress and are less expensive.
The only problem with JOS is the ethnic wahala that goes on there. But come on...people are there and in the end its God that protects. Pls focus on doing well in jamb. The higher ur scores the better for u obviously. Goodluck dear.
