I dont believe there was transparency in Otedola's loan repayment. Nigeria,knw dat GEJ wants to use Otedola as a front to acquire a stake in d power sector as a legacy after leaving office. Note dat OBJ used Dangote to acquire stake in d cement & rice industries using Sen. Andy Ubah as a linkman. So,GEJ will do anytin to protect Otedola thereby protecting his(GEJ) own interest. CBN ban on banks lending to Otedola shld still remain till 3-5yrs. The purported claim dat Otedola has paid up his debt is a ploy by d powers dat be to enable dia 'point-man' acquire more loans 4rm banks to pay for his recently won stake in d power company, thereby maintaining d circle of debt. Today, Doyin Okupe's defence dat d purchase of some Power companies by some big players is normal. Tell me,if Otedola hv such money to pay,then let him remain ban 4rm accessing bank loans. |

I don't like sounding nauseating,but its obvious I can't help it but to protest against the laclustre attitude & opportunistic tendencies NEMA's Top officials are exhibiting. While almost half of Nigeria is been inundated with water,leaving many dead,scores missing,properties destroyed,hundreds of thousands of people displaced & changing their status automatically from localised Citizens to Refugees in their own country, NEMA's Top Ranks are busy holding workshops(which normally comes up whenever tragedies/disasters occur) & visiting State Governors affected by the flood in a so-called Solidarity Visit. I think by now Civil Servants ought to have been much more realistic, sensible & prudent in spending scarce resources for effective result rather than embarking on unnecessary,selfish & greedy enterprise at the slightest opportunity. |
