If this probe is actually real, it'll be the boldest step taken by an arm of Government in Nigeria in the recent past. We hope the likes of Obasanjo, the Nigeria's foremost political monster, will be brought to book, for plunging this nation into untold decades of darkness. |
Things are becoming clearer by the day. The real agenda are emerging. Those who hate the truth may still continue to claim ignorance of the real brains behind Boko Haram as well as their sympathisers. Something is really fishy with this latest development. |
HAH:And who made the supposed constant power supply possible? U think PMB did it in less than 3 months? Hmmm. Let's be sincere for once, pls. |
ladyF:But hadn't Buhari ruled Nigeria before? He ought to have achieved more within the first 100 days!. |
I am seriously thinking of the need for a Students Union in an Open University, where almost all the students study from their homes, and are too busy for Unionism. The writer, who claims to be the President of the Congress of NOUN students may be aiming for something else, or he is not fully engaged in something that will, in the first place, warrant his studying in an Open University. Although I do not subscribe to any policy that will be anti students, I think Student Unionism may be a distraction to the many NOUN Students that are majorly engaged in regular work. I think there are online platforms where students can air their views, or respectfully talk to relevant school authorities, through the media. Let peace reign. |
If this directive will not be truncated, and if the power brokers would not intimidate PMB to suspend the this good move, it will go down in history as a landmark achievement of PMB's administration. It'll check the excesses of the few rich folks who intimidate the poor masses with armed policemen, it'll even translate to more security for the generality of the citizens. Bravo, my President! We need more of these people oriented policies and directives. |
limanmohammed6:What did he meet on ground? Was he not a former Head of State? Did he not have plans before campaigning for election? He had had three attempts at the Presidency, so he has no excuses. |
Why the speculations about the death of Shekau? Will the killing of Shekau translate to the killing of their ideology? Islamic Clerics as well as their politicians have a major role to play in this issue. Military action alone may not suffice to end the insurgency. Even if you kill Shekau, the many recruited suicide bombers may still continue their actions in keeping with their beliefs. |
It's a known fact that Nigeria is running the costliest, and most anti-people democracy in the world. It's better called an oligarchic democracy! The masses are in real trouble. |
OUK is just saying what a great majority of Nigerians know too well, but which only evil-minded and corrupt politicians only decide to ignore. That man remains a cancer to this nation. His tenure, which many saw as a relief from the successive military juntas, was so wasteful and regrettable that some people are tempted to think that military regimes might be better than the world's costliest (Nigerian) democracy. May God save this country! |
This move, if followed up, and sincerely carried out, will be, in my opinion, the GREATEST achievement of the Legislature since 1999. It is indeed disheartening that power sector, which should be the most critical, is toyed with by successive administrations in this country. The issue of epileptic power supply has made Nigeria a laughing stock among all nations. There's no gainsaying the fact that every other sector of our society depends on power. May God help the Senate to succeed in this probe, and turn things aroun in our power sector. |
From the opinion of the OP, AIT was only able to pay staff salaries with the help of GEJ in power. What happened when GEJ had not gotten to power? Or did AIT come to be when GEJ got to power? I can't get the connection with GEJ here. |
Only in Nigeria... Why were they sacked? They said the truth, or they told a lie? Such flagrant abuse of power is, to say the least, despicable, and counter productive. |
missKiffy:The Hero of 21st Century Democracy! The Hero of all Democrats and lovers of Democracy. |
Burger01:Even if the minimum wage is raised to 100k, if u do not have a decent and frugal spending culture, you may still have a financial crisis. Even the richest of men are not extravagant in their spending. |
ABDULKKR:Looks like he is trying to register his feelings about the current fuel scarcity, by riding on a bicycle that does not use fuel. |
omo90:Could Nkire please tell Nigerians: 1. What really are the nails on the bed? 2. Who squandered Nigeria's wealth? 3. Should the punishment of PDP's 16 wasteful years be meted out on Goodluck's 6 years administration? 4. Who really are the members of APC? Are they not former PDP members that defeacated on their mats and then changed platform? Who is fooling who? We Nigerians do not need any excuses from APC. They should not waste time to make good their campaign promises, if they do not want to take us for a ride. |
digitite:I need it, pls send it to me via durujunu@gmail.com. Thanks. |
juicee1:I pity South Easterners. The masses have suffered a lot from their selfish leaders. |
