Lol, it can still hide identity in style. Reddit is rich in features and functionalities and they keep innovating and improving.

For example, Reddit has comment grading system (upvote and downvote). Also, its way of presenting a quoted comment/response is conventional practice for communities such as Quora, Stackexchange, Github even twitter. This is in keeping with modern best practice.

Additionally, there is user ranking according to impact or contribution made to the communities(this is for forums). Reddit calls it karma. Plus you can gift a user if you find their response satisfactory.

There is a saying in the tech world that it's either you innovative or die.
I daresay that Nairaland is still relevant and retains membership for lack of worthy competition.

Seems like everyone is supporting this move except me, no social media is talking about it.
I just learnt that third party vehicle insurance had been inflated from 5,000 Naira to 15,000 Naira.... i don't know who advised them to do so, if we must pay this, then i expect human right lawyers to go to court to earn a court order forcing the insurance companies on public awareness on how we can enjoy our insurance package.
Secondly, We have been paying 5,000 Naira every year and nobody or group of people have deemed it fit to give us awareness on how we can claim our leverage. Infact, where does the money go to? I have never met any person that claimed the companies have taken responsibility of any damage, just because the national economy is going down then it doesn't mean that every government body will become a revenue generating body.. i know and have been saying that taxation will soar in 2023 but these ones we r seeing is unreasonable.... I expect and i am waiting to hear from civil rights activists.
Furthermore, i have never been across a public notice that was planned for implementation within 5 or 6 working days... The above letter was released on 22nd, if one removes the weekends and public holidays, all left is 5 or 6 working days... why are they rushing? Ooohhhh!!! Now i get it, they are planning to kick-start before lawyers take them to court, because the holidays would hinder applications at the court( this is just what i think)

But my curiosity won't let me rest, so I checked on the site with the login info sent to me. But I don't understand anything.

Yes there is a filter underneath this. Very small finger tip size. That is the culprit .

Most of the sensor was cleaned, changed but still the same condition.

After over two years of use of the new gear, there appears the problem again, the first I did was to instruct mechanic to do the cleaning first and behold the prom blue disappeared till it was sold a year later.
Find the nut under the battery stand.

This is a first hand info from me< i have used the car a couple of years ago and i experience this issue. It will only take you to clean your transmission filter and change the oil if due for change. The problem will be solved.

Please where is the transmission filter located, is it inside the gear or where.

As is it now, we have changed different brainbox but the conditions still the same, I took it to another person that many refer as expert, he told me that the problem is brainbox, I told him that we have try different brainbox but didn't solve the problem then he told me that maybe we didn't try the brainbox that is actually fit the model, that I should let him go and find the right brainbox.

The transmission has not been opened before and I don't want situation where they will damage the transmission for me.

What would have happened if Buhari didn't become the president of Nigeria, many would have been groaning by saying "Nigeria would have become better off by now". Glory be to God because He made us to see what Buhari has done that makes Nigeria to be better off at as now.
The political leaders from the west are rooting for their son to become the president while the north and east are considering the same mission, every region desperately wants the power to go to them without considering Nigeria as a whole.
The west and the North like to lay hold on power for just competitive reasons, as if it is a turn by turn things. For those in the west who thought that the west is going to be better if Tinubu wins, I keep asking myself, what happens to the western regions when Obasanjo was there, does the north get any better under Buhari abi the niger delta region despites their oil wealth got any better under Jonathan, In fact, the North witness more hardship and insecurity under this regime than any previous regime.

To judge a case without been biased, sentiments has to be put aside, the best candidate didn't make it through during party's primary, what we have now are merely domineering prescription from party delegates who sold the betterment of Nigeria for just little penny, if not for selfish interest there are more capable candidates that are better to what they presented to us to contest for the office of the president.

Meanwhile, the political campaign is about to start very soon, base on the credibility gap, i am of the opinion that, majority of the candidates that we have are not the best to save us, but on the contrary motion, there are advantages some of these candidates has over another and these advantages requires critical examines in other to make up your mind on who you should vote for, before you vote for that candidate remember that your vote can either save us or destroy us, below are tips of consideration to enable you to make better decisions on who you should vote for.

1. PUT SENTIMENTS ASIDE.

look at the situation of Nigeria now, and look at where you want to be in five years to this time, it is not that you are not hardworking that make you broke, it is not that you are not serious that make things hard for you, it is because of the bad leadership that runs the government of this country that make life miserable and tough, under this administration of Buhari, I had seen many great people i didn't expect asking me for money, same way I also asked for help from some, don't be deceive, Politicians are inter connected and they are one big selfish family, a bunch of non entity, a bunch of miscreants, bunch of thieves running the affairs of a blessed nation, they are deceptive, cunning and wicked, they don't have you or me in their primary concern. Who do you think among these candidates has capability to make better policies to improve the nigerian economy?

2. DON'T FOLLOW DEM SAY, DEM SAY TALK.

When campaign start fully, you would hear so many things like Tinubu talk say him go do so so thing, another people will tell you that, Atiku talk say he will do so so things, and the obedient would talk their own, all nah sakamanje, all nah lie from the pit of executive miscreants, if Buhari didn't become the president, Nigerian would have thought that a naira would equal to one dollar by now, Nigeria youths would have thought by now, monthly allowee go dey enter their pockets. These are the reason you shouldn't follow people's mouth. Think and when you think also rethink, don't allow the fire from same mistake to burn you twice.

3. YOU HAVE WHAT IT TAKE TO MAKE THE CHANGE

The lies that the politicians made to us to believe is that they will help us, but the truth is contrary to their words, they only continue to help themselves by making themselves to become very rich and make you poor so that they can continue to use you to their advantage, another lie they keep from you is that your vote doesn't count, that's a pure lie, your vote does matter and count, one reason they told you that lie is to control the rigging process to their advantage. But you can change it and prove to them that your vote does matter not only to you but to the future of your children. Your vote is your fundamental power and that's what it take to make the change for the betterment of your future and your children future.

Well first things first, for the honda accord EOD, dextron III transmission oil can be used temporarily, its in the car manual. However a one drain doesn't remove most of the fluid. Drain again and use honda dw1.

Go to where they use a more sophisticated and expensive scan tool and scan your car. These expensive scan tools can scan each component (transmission, srs etc) of the car.

What were the codes you got when you scanned, P0750 indicates a gear selector switch issue.

Look for a honda gear specialist to guide you not any mechanic.

Lastly do your research, there are tons of videos on YouTube, research the codes from your car scan or the issue you are experiencing on YouTube specifically for your car type, you would see others may have documented same issues you have.

Thank you everyone for your advice, I really appreciate.

I later scanned the car as it was suggested here, the scan pointed to gear selector switch (picture attached).
Though, the rewire was not happy with me when I told him that I want the car to be scanned because he felt, I didn't trust him and I made him look as if he doesn't know his job.
When the scan guy tell us the fault, my rewire allowed the guy to do all he could and still come back to point of changing the ecu, we changed the selector switch the problem is still the same, because the ecu is not passing circuit data correctly, meanwhile the scan guy give me a trick to use if I don't want the blinking D light, he said that if I don't have the money for ecu, I should put the gear to neutral first and start the car, and behold the light stop blinking, but once I put the car to park and shift gear the lights would blinking again. But I think that's risky for me, it is better to change the ecu.

Though your diagnosis methods might be crude but likely you were able to isolate the fault.
The ECU could be the fault in any PCM communication issues; but always the last to look at. You need to scan as you work along. Before and after replacing parts.
Try reprogramming your own Brainbox before going for a replacement Brainbox that might come with other hidden issues since it's an un-tested tokunbo.

I have come again o

Last month my car eod was blinking D light, as I was driving home, so when I got home I park, they I started seeking for advice here and some other channels.

Some advice me to check the fluid level, I checked the next morning before starting the car, true it was below the low point.

So I decided not to drive it until I got another fluid, but I do start it to warm every two days, but I later begin to see, park, at same time with reverse light and D light blinking while the car is in park.

I took it to mechanic, we remove the fluid and put oando dexron 3, but these light are still showing, I was told it might be pressure switch, we changed it, we clean all the sensors that are cleanable, the electric rewire trace eventing traceable but yet these light remain.

So he remove my car ECU/brainbox and put another one from another eod, and immediately all the lights clear off, the rewire told me that my ecu got problems that I should change it.

But I told him to wait, I want hear from an expert on nairaland on what they will advice.

Should I change the brainbox or is there any possible way out.

Though the gear is driving well with those light on and D blinking.

As yet he put in the other vehicles brainbox and you tested it you say it worked properly abi? Did you SCAN YOUR TRANSMISSION TO SEE THE ISSUES BEFORE YOU STARTED SWITCHING PARTS?

If you did a scan while your D light was blinking before exchanging ecu’s and there was no codes then I’d suspect your brainbox.

But if you never did a scan then I’d advise you to return your former brainbox into your vehicle and then test if it still gives the issues, if it does then SCAN THE VEHICLE TO SEE THE PROBLEM before taking any other steps.

Scanning is cheaper than replacing sensors, oils or ecu’s plus it makes you know the exact problem you should be tackling.
