hillsate: What is this TUNNA fish trying to prove. Is this how you pay back your village for the money they contributed to send u to obodo oyibo?
I just spoke with your bro and he complained you no longer send money to your aged parent. Have you stopped that degrading work I told you to? The story is everywhere in your village about the work you do o. Please your bro said that your papa said you should come back home if you do not a better job.
He now has 2 bikes and 1 keke napep
Hey TUNNA, that's the message from your peeps yet you come here and sound as if you were the one who discovered canada.

Now guys, THIS IS HOW TO PROPERLY INSULT Tunna.

dmainboss: People like you are a victim of crap image of Naija being peddled on the Internet. I dont blame you. Your opinions of Naija are formed by sites like NL. But its a pity. This is the result of all those rubbish reports that say 90% of Nigerians live on 2 dollar per day. Those reports that were cooked up by NGOs so they can collect grants from foreign donors and embezzle it. If you know how much the average Nigerian buys these stuff like toys, you will probably faint! Area boys and street girls are all carrying BBs around like its cheap wrist watch. Market women are using BB to communicate with their customers. You really dont have a clue of Naija. You need to visit and open your mind and get out of this Internet Naija syndrome!
Fool this is the attack on Nigerians in Canada at the 1st page of this thread that provoked me...go kill urself

I read with utmost disgust, irritation and shame your lashing out at Nigeria the way you have been doing. My question do you have any ties at all to Nigeria ? If you do, you are indeed a lost lost soul who still Iives in mental captivity. I don't reside in Nigeria and by the way I am very very well travelled , but I tell you, as much as these countries do have a lot to be admired, Nigeria has a lot that can never be bought, it's a country of loving people, with rich culture, heritage and even the economy is improving and things might have started late but it will get there someday. Even the black Americans who don't know much of their ancestral background refer to Africa as home, I see lots and lots of the black actors and musicians come to SA to perform and they say it's nice to come home to Africa. We are talking African pride and renaissance, you are walking backwards. Regarding the negative image Nigerian has even with people whom had never had any interaction with a Nigerian, it's idiots like you who drag your country down and aggravates these sentimements. People are yearning for belonging, colonial slaves like you are begging to be resold into captivity. You are to date the worst case of "colonial brainwash", are you that fascinated about the tall buildings, neon lights, electricity and sights of those racist white people that you so believe you are in paradise?daily is your entire extended family in Nigeria that impoverished that your opinion about Nigeria is that everyone is hungry and malnourished? I don't know how old you are but you need to get a life really, please you are really really really embarrassing yourself , can't even believe the things you writing! Gees!
FOOL...YOU WENT TO UNIVERSITY IN NIGERIA TOO?? Did you miss this attack of your loving Nigerian at Nigerians in Canada at the start of this post?

comm: going trough several of ur post here, u sound like a politician who tries hard to flaunt his wealth even when he knows there are others who deserves better than he does if not for the priviledge, and it also seems you are here to vomit your negative feelings about nigeria, this post was about the fall of bb but you have turned it in every post you make into ur low imagination about Nigeria. First, who told you Nigeria is the worst place to ever be on earth? Who told you that many nigerians will like to leave nigeria for canada given free-way. When next you need to make comment, make articulate point that depicts maturity because it makes u sound from a distance like an elite in ("wink ur trying attract about yourself and canada, we dont sort to pass in university here, thats why people fail while others are distinguished and even given scholarship to study abroad and they get there to become the best or among the top best, if canada is such a nice place like u try to paint it, it should occur to you that there are many many nigerians in almost all sector of the economy and govt. working harder than u do if at all u do to make canada what you are here trying to shout about plus many others spread across other countries around the globe because of the ingenuous nature of nigerians, also it is not a sin or flaw to buy cars, service or technology we may so desire because we do not produce or make them, we pay for them just like that country is buying and payin for other ppl tech and service without your myopic reasoning knowing, every country buys from the other it was naturally designed that non should b self sufficient. We may be having our hard times but that does not make canada better than nigeria for everyone because there are many poor canadians u even can point to but the ready made environment will make it seem they are living in affluence when in reality they are living in government provisioned buffer, I can assure you that many nigerians can feed u and ur wards comfortably both here in Nigeria and over there without pain. Never ever sound so backward cos if i can read u well i don't think you have much contribution to what u profess to be enjoying, ur just a ready made freak. Learn mehn you are too small for Nigeria now "sorry all for not talking about BB of which this thread was meant for i'l do that soon if I'm less busy here"
I'm sorry I made you cry!!

I love Canadians. So sensitive about their country...especially when jibed by their big brother to the south cheesy
You are so right on that my guy...! Hahaha.
They (our big brother to the south) try to bully us sometimes because they are way bigger than us...but Naija may have more people than we do, however, since we are so much richer and more advanced than Naija we can take Naija by force any day we want and there ain't a thing the 160million naija people can do to stop us!!

I'm going to ruffle a lot of feathers here today but I didn't start the attack...this guy quoted bellow did:

Abagworo: Hahaha! Nigerians @home are a million folds richer than those in diaspora suffering.
Same Naija I visited a few weeks ago?? But then again an average Naija person like you in Naija thinks hard work that builds and helps keep a nation developed and keep advancing is suffering!!!

Hahahahahahaha!! stupidity

See why Nigeria is so underdeveloped? Don't risk ur life for nation building and don't work hard to achieve anything...go to university and sort professors with cash or ur p u ssy and get a job with the fake degree u get after where you get a free car and a free duplex after 3 months of work and live large forever...carrying a made in Canada BB running programes designed by Canadian secondary school kids; wear American clothes and speak with fake Ameriacan acent; and then drive a used German or Japanese made Jeep stolen in the streets of Canada...is that not the Nigerian model??

You seemed to mistake houses built by Nigerians outside of Nigeria in Nigeria as showing how wealthy Nigerians in Naija are!! Funny, eh! Confused, eh!
I was reading somewhere last year that they wanted to make the minimum wage in Nigeria 18, 000 naira a month and some of the States refused as they could not afford that?.

Did you know that it is illegal to pay a worker less than minimum 10,000naira for a day of work in Canadahuh Fools, you are not talking about Greece or Spain ooo!! Lol

Canada can take over Naija by force any day and Naija can not defend itself again our force...I'm sure you know this...so be quiet please, k

4bobo: you need to care because if they cant maintain the constant profits as they used to, they will go bankrupt and the bb may be difficult to maintain and may be dead . The problem is that if other top phone makers especially android developers got the idea or programing skill and platform that will work 100 percent like BB for free, and rim doesnt upgrade new platform and technology fast, then that may be their end. Remember what happened to HELLO MOTO.
We have or we will move pass BB as a very dynamic and advanced Nation...so no need to take tylenol over this that is none of ur headache

My fav phone was Nokia some 15years ago...then it was Samsung and then Apple and may soon be Samsung again, so it's not a huge deal...!

In the tech world, getting to the top is hard but staying there is even harder and we already know this as Canadians because we are at the forefront of new tech always! Canada is an ultra wealthy and innovative nation and will survive long after BB phone makers have gone out of business!

So, you are saying its cheap to use once you can afford the stolen used ones that r sold there, right??

Well average Naija user of a BB phone in Canada will never use a used BB and his or her carrying cost is between ten and fifteen thousand naira monthly...and someone open their dirty mouth to say Naija people in Canada use BB to catch up with nigerians in Naija?? How dumb are people here sometimes huh huh

One authorized dealer in Ikeja...should Nigerians in Canada bow down because of that when there can be 10 authorized BB Stores in A single shopping mall in Canada?? By the way...you mean an authorized dealer for a BB assembled in Mexico city?? Lol

Only upper middle class people in Nigeria can afford an Original new BB phone without stress, k! That would be top 1%

That means they do not need to keep up with people in Naija!

pufectskin: Yes, u r absolutely correct. Its a black girl thing around d world. I wonder y though? I rich white chick would let u hv her as long as u r from a similarly rich family. She won't expect gas money. Lol. But u ll have to treat her to a nice time though, in general, in d relationship. White ppl like adventure, thrill, and stuff. Blacks r soooo poor or generally surrounded by soooo many poor ppl dat their sense of worth boils down to price tags...dats my 2 cents on dis issue. But I am probably wrong..
you may have a point! i started dating white girls and when i later turned to black girls...i started noticing all these small differences! the black girls here dont actually want any taxi money from you at all...you must have a car to come pick them up and be their personal driver after that 1st date...otherwise forget it! so, the blackmen here respond by spending all their earnings on a car and living in a room or sharing an apartment or living in mom's basement at 40!

as long as the nice ride is there, they will have any woman they want! but with white folks, having a house is more important...and you can see why, since average house here cost 1/2 a mil and average car cost 30,000! the white women prefers who can afford a house and the black women go for man who have a car because that is wealth to them!

over here, it's also true that because the government usually will give a free house to a black woman who has a child and leaves her boy friend but the government will never give anyone a free car...car therefore becomes a bigger symbol of wealth to them! please notice how many black girls love to take pictures next to nice cars?? white girls prefer pictures inside beautiful houses

a good friend observed that white people have moved beyond worrying about what to eat and often thinks in terms of fun now...that explains the difference in observed behaviours sometimes which u alluded to too!

at the end of the day...a lot of woman think sex should not be free and if they bring it to ur house...they want to be compensated one way or the other and this is true for all women of all races to a degree...and i know this for a fact! but i know a Chinese woman who tend to bring gifts with her when coming to get some, but it's rare!

no free lunches as they say

My guy, this is why I say the problem with Nigeria is Nigerians themselves!! A city like Toronto in Canada generate and use more electricity that the whole of 160million Nigerians generate and use...and we are supposed believe that things have improved!?!

But if on the other hand Nigerians where like the rest of earthlings, they would have came here and say..."hey guys...since the new 3000megawatts generating power station came online I have seen a huge difference in our area big time and then the rest of us would say congatulations...it's about time!!"

I see ur point big guy.
Just do not agree with you because of love, I should assume all the risk...while she takes none.

That's not going to happen. Just to go visit her for 2 or 3 weeks will cost a million naira n a wedding will cost me even more and applying for, processing her papers and getting her here all on my dime...and I hear you think I'm asking for too much to want her to get pregnant after our wedding??

U seems to have a picture of a helpless woman who is being forced to marry me and get pregnant for me!

I did not call her for 6months b4 I went to Naija and did not tell her I was there...the person who introduced us came to see me and insisted I needed to at least see this girl and gave her a call and she on her own offerd to come and see me...!

We will have to assume equal risk be it love or lust period. I'm however not so sure why u think all I want is sex (lust)...! why would i go through all the expense and trouble of getting it from her or do u think there are not enough beautiful girls here in America from everywhere in the world u can imagine??

I want love and a peaceful family and I'm willing to take a risk and a chance with this lady...but that does not mean I have to be foolish

Anyways, if I decided tonight that there is nothing she can offer me that an American woman or other girl in naija who likes me can not...the relationship will be over and this time it will be over for good!

So I hear ur point...about no guarantee in marriage, but NO I will not take all the risk on my own as u want me to...

i can understand your fears and concerns about how things are going. But you also have to look at it from her side. what if she is afraid to get pregnant for you and suddenly you meet a new woman at your location? you would probably just forget her and she would be a single mother.

i think you both should back off the whole marriage talk for now because you need to spend time getting to know each other as much as you can with the distance between the two of you. More importantly you both will need to sit down as equals and have serious conversation about your concerns and fears and also hear what she has to say. That way you can get an idea of where your relationship is going.

p.s ask her about the statement you made in which you said if you were moving to Nigeria wouldn't she have children for you.
I will sure ask her that when next we talk about the issue. I have sisters n have no plans to go to Naija and marry some girl and leave her stranded there...I will not be happy if someone did that to any of my sisters.
