I don't know if you are a Christian because I want to ask how can a Christian empowers the soul to resist forces limiting its functions to nature alone during the night or during sleep state. Those forces are making sure they are taking the soul aware when am about to sleep EVERY DAY thereby preventing it from creating a connection with Gods spirit to explore. This has been my challenges for years now and I'll be glad If you can enlightened me the more sir.

I am saying this because of my personal experience while as a undergraduate I was contracted to do home lesson for 2 female students from the same mother. The one in JS1 was just 11 years while the other who was 13 year old was in JS3. If you hear what they use to talk about secretly you will know that this world has turned upsidedown.

Because of my closeness to them as their home teacher, the junior one was always on me telling me sometimes that she loves me. I informed their parents that my mother was very sick that I have to travel home to attend to my mother at the hospital. All the family wanted to follow me to my hometown as their way of showing compassion but since I knew I was lying, I resisted; and giving them the assurance that I will come back. They gave me a lot of gifts and money.

I thank God I did not fall for the trap of the devil.

Both cannot be the same. That is why they are named differently.

Living creatures have Souls which sustain their existences, but there are other creatures too either existing ethereally and/or terrestrially as it may be. They might have their own Souls but what sustain them essentially is the power of the Spirit.

Humans too have Spirit which manifest in their relationship with the Universe. When we pray, when we conjure, when we make supplications, what we do is that are inviting powers that go beyond our capabilities to intervene in our matters - WE INVOKE THE SPIRIT.

Spirit helps our Souls to actualise the purpose for which we exist as humans. Without the Spirit, we are lost in the Universe with no direction. Like the beasts of burden.

And without the Soul, the body has no substance; it is empty, and it start to decompose.

Soul is the vital force of every living creature. Without the soul, the body is empty, inactive and is opened to destruction.

Soul creates the dreaming state while the body is at rest. Through this, many imaginable and unimaginable realities are envisioned by a dreamer thus establishing the fact that Soul has connection with both our physical life experiences and the nonphysical realities. The Soul, being immaterial, does not die with the death of the physical body of any creature, rather it (the Soul) return to its creator, the Supreme Spiritual Energy (God), either in fulfilment or otherwise of its purpose in creation.

Spirit violate the natural orders and create miraculous events that are considered to be impossible in the universe. Without the Spirit, man is restricted to nature; natural instinct and tendencies; and the ability to reason and see possibility of the impossibles in the universe is prevented.

Spirit brings about reason, possibility, miracles. Soul brings life to the body, when it depart from the body the body becomes dead and is opened to destruction.

Agreed, God has no beginning.

If the earth was without form, definitely there were substances which existed formlessly in nature. Substances such as oxygen, hydrogen and other chemical components. Yet with the chaotic order of nature at the time 'WATER' (H2O) was still able to form the DEEP as quoted from the Scripture. That was the beginning. Nothing else. So it would be inappropriate to assumed what might have happened before the Spirit of God appeared at the scene.

If one assumption is considered appropriate, one could as well assumed that since the earth was not the only planet in the universe it is possible that the Spirit of God might have 'descended' (or 'ascended' as the case may be) from other planets to establish order in the planet earth.

Still, the creation of all substances that formed the materials for the formless earth (where water, for example, was a principal material) before the Spirit of God intervened was deliberately avoided or wished away since there was no scientific explanation for the components of water.

All these point to the fact that many things have existed before biblical record on the creation of earth. This world has been in existence for billions of years. Evidence of the Ice Age is there for you to see. Fossils of plants and animals like Dinosaurs are available. These things have more years than what our religious teachings of history of the world have told us.

The time water was created was not mentioned. What we knew from Genesis is the fact that water was there before God created the earth and the sky.

In addition, God has no beginning; which means many things must have happened before God created the earth and man.

But how did water came about? The origin of 'waters' needs to be established.

Besides, darkness must be a concept that existed before the Spirit of God moved in to create an order. If this is taken, then who created the Darkness in the first place?
