Can this be moved to the front page please

Need to get feedbacks from other investors and probably provide lesson to others on the risk of investing with an agro-crowdfunding entity like Agropartnerships

I just wonder when some people will learn that there is no hedgefund in Nigeria.

And who told you those who invested did so because they categorised Agropartnerships as hedgefund? undecided

Do you even know what hedgefund is?

Nairaland / General / Who Else Thinks It's Time Seun Created A Chat Option On NL? by Stycon(m): 10:49am On Nov 30, 2021
I think it's a bit complicated to have to take private chats initiated on NL to off NL.

Why not allow people exchange private dm on NL rather than redirecting to the normal mails?

I don't know if it's just me. But, love is the last thing I will marry for. Love comes 4th on my checklist. I mean, it's wavering anyway, so why marry for something that is just short-lived and prone to change?

What are the other things on the list? I want to check something wink

Romance / Re: Single People How Do You Cope With Being Alone by Stycon(m): 2:37am On Aug 08, 2021
MeghaneMorgane:
I am a young lady in my mid 20s. I don’t live with my parents. I live alone because I work in another city different from where my parents live. My problem now is immediately I get back home from work, I begin to feel lonely. Because of this, I like to close late from work just to keep my mind busy. I close early only if I have other errands to run or if I am very tired.

When I get home, I speak with my parents who try their best to keep me company. But there is still lots of time left before I go to bed. In the height of my boredom, I come to nairaland. Then I go to other blogs to read the news. I read all the news blogs I normally follow. I check out my chats on WhatsApp and Telegram. Usually there isn’t anyone chatting with me because everyone is busy with their lives. I go to Youtube which I have become tired of watching. And at some time I’m just bored to my mind. I don’t like to impose myself on anybody and so I only chat with people who come to chat with me including neighbours.

Sometimes I just want someone around that I can talk to but I’m alone by myself. Single people, how do you cope with boredom. I mean single people who are really single not the ones cohabiting or visiting their partners. Some tips will be very helpful right now.

We can be friends.

I stay in Lagos.

But it has to be purely platonic o

Romance / Re: 'I Need Some Space': What Does This Mean In A Relationship? by Stycon(m): 3:46pm On Jul 10, 2021
Romanoff:
"I need some space" is the coma of relationships. It can wake up and be restored or it can die from there.

In marriage, there own is "Separation".

Interesting...it's funny how it can also be a subtle way of saying I'm no longer interested. I feel either party in any relationship should just voice out their stance "definitively" rather than play with such words as "...need a space" It tends to give a promise of false hope and peddle emotional suspense

I would rather not go that route. Would you?

Hi
Properties / Re: Please Help. My Apartment Is Being Haunted By A Ghost. by Stycon(m): 9:50am On May 24, 2020
Cloud699999:
Good morning Nairalander,

It all started Last week When a neighbor next to my apartment died without nobody noticing for 2 days until she started smelling. We didn't actually suspect that it was from her room until someone came looking for her because she wasn't answering her phone, which was still ringing inside and the door was locked from the inside that was how we knew she was dead, already swollen because the last time we saw was Sunday night and we didn't know untill Tuesday that she was dead.

All this happened last week. Later that Tueday family and friends with police came to evacuate her corpse. No foul play or any struggle seems she died in her sleep. She was young and a very playful lady and lively. She is 36 years old single mother and she lives.

So the haunting started 2 days later. The First one happened around 2am, My girlfriend said she saw someone looking like standing by the door outside just staring straight at her, there was no light and the window was open, so when she pointed torch light she saw nothing but when she switch the torch light, she saw the shadow of the same person. That really scared shit out of me because she later told me in the morning.

The second was last night. Someone was banging seriously on the toilet window because it's an iron window. The banging continue for almost 3hours. It was double banging as if someone was knocking hard. I doubt it was someone when I try I check I couldn't find anyone there, few minute later the banging continue till around 4.30am when mosque call out for prayer. And I could here some here some sound like someone walking in the next room where she died, no one was home. Her sister refuse to sleep in the room so it was locked.

Please help, how can I get rid of this unwanted disturbances. I don't know what to do. This last night scare me to the bone. The funniest thing. No one heard this banging except me. The other neighbors have different theory.

Anyone experience this kind of thing before? How did you handle it?

Are are you sure she is the one banging on your window. Do you know the identity of the said "ghost"?

Probably the same ghost that killed her has come back to take another person. Not trying to scare you though. Lol
