PoliticsRe: How Tinubu’s Forex Policy Is Growing Remittance Into Nigeria by Styluss: 11:17am On Jul 15, 2023
To think that I had the opportunity to leave 2 years ago, but wouldnt want to take the risk of borrowing, I tried to raise funds and now that I have what would have been enough, the rate doubled in the space of a week.
My world was crashing right infront of me, but I will do my best and see if I can work something out, I intend to be in university of salford. I will take the risk this time even if the rate quadrupled.

PoliticsRe: Alex Ekweme Federal University: Can Igbos Take This by Styluss: 2:15pm On Jul 14, 2023
You can check my previous comments, I am not in support of any of the aforementioned. My point is you dont use a wrong to judge a wrong. What you have done in your region is wrong but as usual, we have to find a reason for it
The victim mentality will always come to play
XerXers:
Shebi the one you de do us you de call am victim mentality if we complain? Even Peter Obi wey no be president congratulated one Igbo award winner una cry but Tinubu wey be president appointment yorubas and you call it victim mentality when we complain
PoliticsRe: Alex Ekweme Federal University: Can Igbos Take This by Styluss: 1:59pm On Jul 14, 2023
While I was in school Yoruba was optional.
But since majority are Yoruba, we all do it even our igbo friends in secondary school all enrolled. Funny enough They scored higher than us even in yoruba
Maize247:
You are not getting it. Yoruba language is compustry in secondary school own by state government but they do not force it on Federal government University like Igbo did

Try and enrol, coming from a family or educationists, me and my siblings stared as early as 1 year old

Rtk4:
Our last son just clocked 2years just a week ago and my wife is insisting that he starts school by September, so i told her i don't have money to enroll him in a school by September. I also let her know that the basic age for a child to start school is 3years. I sighted example of alot of people within our vicinity who also waited for their children to reach 3years before enrolling them in school. She still maintains her stands and i also maintain mine. Though he is so wise above his age but i don't have money for that now. He can count 1-10 already.... Please guys what is your take on this?
PoliticsRe: NLC Protests Tinubu’s N500bn Subsidy Palliative, Demands 300% Pay Rise by Styluss: 9:23pm On Jul 13, 2023
Let the purchasing power remain thesame
Let the inflation rate be at the highest
Let Naira be devalued
and see how many people will end up in poverty
And to think that I am in the trenches sounds very funny! Like I am in the country in the first place grin grin grin
MS247:
Sorry Mr metal capacity

Let us Pay subsidy with all our oil revenue

Let us us IGR to pay loan

Let us Pay subsidy for west Africa

Let us increase wage bill and recurrent expenditure with more salary

Arguement with your type is funny

PoliticsRe: NLC Protests Tinubu’s N500bn Subsidy Palliative, Demands 300% Pay Rise by Styluss: 9:03pm On Jul 13, 2023
The workforce is the backbone of the country, because you are not a salary earner does not mean you dont have one as a client or customer, they have parents, they have kids, sisters and aunts. They have families, above all they dont eat money, they patronize you and me in the market, they engage the services of artisans and give their retired parents monthly stipends. They are the backbone of a nation
delpee:
Exactly! Self centred people.
PoliticsRe: NLC Protests Tinubu’s N500bn Subsidy Palliative, Demands 300% Pay Rise by Styluss: 9:00pm On Jul 13, 2023
Oh so you know BRT and trains are not free and you want the workers to take from their low salaries to cater for the buses and transport while still striving to survive and pay kids school feels from the already little salary. You need to sit down and access your mental capacity
MS247:
Are BRT and electric trains free or don't you buy bus card and ticket

Be like you never leave trenches before
PoliticsRe: Alex Ekweme Federal University: Can Igbos Take This by Styluss:
If this was done by any Yoruba University, i am sure you and your cronies would be shouting marginalization by now. It's a federal Institution and that is all shades of wrong especially when its not being implemented Nationally. When you are wrong, you should admit rather than defend.
But I expect nothing less from the people who always chestbeats
Zupay:
Don't get pained. 😆😆😆😆

Even in the Universities were they have Igbo as a GST course, you don't need a credit in Igbo language to be admitted.😊😊😊😊

Like I posted earlier, let Universities in SW feel free to have Yoruba language as a GST course.😆😆

He should follow, he will find his feet when he gets there
IkpemhiTG:
Your candid advise is needed.

His wife got a job in the UK which pays her about £30,000/ annum. Husband will be going with the wife along with thier 3months old baby as a dependent. How do you think this man can cope nursing thier baby for God knows how long before he gets something doing.

On a second thought he will rather let the wife go while he stays back with the baby in Nigeria managing his business. He's not doing do bad in Nigeria.

My people what's the best option he should take that would favour him and his family?.

Its possible to send if you can pick up along Beager (Lagos/Ibadan xpress) You will pay for delivery please.

What should I instruct them to do? Pluck matured ones for you? or the ones that fell on their own? How to go about it?

umuna:

How was the covid palliatives done? ;
Sadiya Umar said she shared 5k to extremely poor people, how many people testified to the claim.

PoliticsRe: NLC Protests Tinubu’s N500bn Subsidy Palliative, Demands 300% Pay Rise by Styluss: 5:47pm On Jul 13, 2023
You know the NLC will eat the money, infact they will be pilling the money up to build house and walk on money if they need to go anywhere,

Mumu People
Omofloflo:
300% increment? These NLC people are senseless. So what will happen to other Nigerians who are not government workers?
PoliticsRe: NLC Protests Tinubu’s N500bn Subsidy Palliative, Demands 300% Pay Rise by Styluss: 5:45pm On Jul 13, 2023
BRT and electric trains will pay the children school fees, and a level 10 state officer earning 60k monthly and after 15 years in service and have kids in the univeristy should be left to wallow in poverty.

Please try to use your sense when you write sometimes, you dont have to be disgracing your people here

MS247:
How many Federal Government workers would get salary increments and what's their percentage out of 210 million Nigerians?!

What we need is mass transit, BRT, trains, electric cars, LNG cars, tramcars, metros

Not some few workers getting 300% increments for walking around and gisting at Federal secetariat
