For now regardless of how many years they get on their visit visa be it 6months,2 years,5 years or 10 years the maximum amount of time they can stay in the uk legally is 6months unless you are coming for private medical treatment or an eligible academic.

Please seniors I need a good advise.
I am a master student in China, and my wife and son are in Nigeria.
I have my uncle and his family in the UK and they are all citizens.

I want my wife and son to go and stay with them in the UK pending the time I find get admission for my PhD or job.

My uncle was the one that sponsored my back and he is the one acting as a father to me since I got none.

The question is; which visa can I secure for my wife and kid? The truth is that they'll spend at least one year there because I still have one year left for my program.

Feeding and accommodation would be provided by my uncle. I just want to know a legit and lawful way of staying for a longer time.

Please help a brother.

You have some options:

1. Do PGD in Nigeria and apply after graduation.

2. Apply for 1yr Chinese course in China and cone to study Chinese language. Note that you must do your Chinese course in a school that has Presidential scholarship, CSC scholarship and other scholarships. The tuition and accommodation for 1yr is around 14-15,000 RMB. Once you get in around August, you will apply for MSC by December and January.
Also note that I am not an agent and I don't have time to apply for anyone. I am just giving you information on what I know.

At least you will present your academic credentials when admission is given to you at the visa embassy for visa processing.

HND isn't equivalent to back.

Please my question is concerning my university transcript (Uniport).. it is a student's copy transcript issued by uniport, surprisingly, I found out that they wrote "not for official use" across it and on the left corner of the transcript.. I have requested for the official one, they said they can't issue it out to students that they are to be the one to send the official one to any institution that will be needing it.. they claimed that the student's copy transcript can be used to apply for visa.. please I want to confirm if truly this transcript can be used for Chinese student visa application??

If the school emphasizes on official transcript, then students copy isn't acceptable.

There are some students copies that are official, those ones are acceptable provided it has official stamp, signature and NO STUDENTS COPY INSCRIPTION.

Visa is not possible to secure with HND certificate for MSC, even if school gives you admission.

But, is there any scholarship in Norway?
This amour of 123519NOK or so is somehow high o. That is around 9million naira.

Please is it compulsory to present IELTS or TOEFL as a PhD candidate?

If you get scholarship, do you still need to present any financial document for visa pricessing.?

Though I am still doing my msc in China, but preparing for Tallinn University for my PhD. Doing IELTS exams can not be easy in China.

Yes in some schools though, to each its own rules and protocols

If your course is in Chinese mode, you will be asked to apply for Chinese study first, but if in English, you dont need to apply for it, you will be taught in your first year.

Admission generally both for Bsc, Msc or PhD have started since December and csc and presidential scholarships closed on April.

You can still apply for self funded till end of MAY
Search the name of the school you want and apply online

Note: This is a presidential scholarship where stipend is 1700¥ for masters and 2000¥ for PhD.
It is a full scholarship like csc, only the stipend is different.

You cant get any response from them now as they have many applications to review. You should wait till the end of MAY before receiving anything from them.

I will advise you mail your school and tell them if you can send the electronic copies of your document to your friends in china to help you print and send them to the school because there is a total lockdown in Nigeria. If they say Yes, then you can look for a friend that is in a city where they allow them to move around and send the docs to the person for easy dispatch

I've gained admission for a degree program in China and applied for visa application in Lagos after receiving my jw202 and admission letter through dhl, on getting there i wasn't allowed to do documentation, i was told that my school in china have to send my admission notice to lagos or abuja embassy via email before i can proceed with the visa application....
My question is that the same way it is done in abuja embassy or who else is in same situation as mine and what us the way out?

Of recent, your school must send your electronic copy of your admission letter to your preferred centre. Lagos embassy dont actually check their email, tell your school to forward it to Abuja and go their to do your interview

Note, you must continue to call embassy to know if your school already sent your admission notice to them or not

No agent, i repeat no agent can help anyone to secure csc scholarship.

Any agent that tells you he can do that should be enquired about if his destiny does not like to study free, or the agent already completed their PhD

The only thing that will deliver csc scholarship to you is your application package.
If you dont know, you are competing with best of the best students around the world.

C). Carefully look at the requirements. Pay very careful attention to experience and desired skills.

The truth is that I have been teaching in Nigeria since 2012 that i graduated from University before gotten a scholarship for my Msc here in China.
If they truly want to give work based on the shortage list, I am not sure i stand any chance.

After Msc, it would be 0 year working experience

What if someone get another job that is not included in the list of shortage, cant one still apply for tier 2 visa?

You also said having someone in UK will not add anything to the application, but they can still help in the area of accommodation which will relieve me of how much i should hold in my account

Take a look at the UK shortage occupation list, that would give you an idea of what's professionals are in demand in the UK currently.

The list might change in 2 years.

The last time i checked the list of shortage occupation which was last week, I think I saw Cyber Security. That is the only related area on the list.

Lastly, how do one go about applying for the job? Do one really need to apply for the Tier 2 visa first, then go there and look for job?
