Okay, our Nairaland resident housemate.

On a Good day, most people will rather be on their phones than going out.

Yet clubs are full every Thursday to Saturday.

They aren’t. If they were then Beatrice, Boma, Pere, Saskay and TBoss would rather stay indoors than participate in any of the activities. Being in the house co-existing with annoying people under constant surveillance builds tension in an individual. Letting loose from drinking copious amounts of alcohol plus dancing does the mind good. Whitemoney avoids dancing on Fridays yet you can see the elation in his face straight after Saturday night dancing.

I pity the next person who’ll decide to cook for housemates majority of the time. Nigerians will quickly evict him/her. One strategy which worked a year before fails the next. See Tobi, Frodd, Ozo and now Saga. We don tire for the senseless loverboy storyline so Saga will take a walk this weekend.

This show has revealed to me that one doesn’t need much to enjoy life. The housemates do not go outside in the sense of the word yet have pool parties, club and enjoy lounge sessions — all in the same environment.

A Friday and you don’t have ten thousand naira to go clubbing? Call a friend who has a passion for mixing music. Call about five to ten more people, buy a few drinks worth three thousand naira at most and you have a house party. On another Friday or sometime of the week, call your DJ friend and then a new set of people. Tell him to mix some songs for relaxation purposes and now you have a lounge setting. If you have no DJ friend, download a suitable mix online. Them buckle. I won’t lie, I love clubbing, but I’ll give these suggestions a try. I don’t know why they never came to mind all this while. The housemates claim every weekend “I didn’t go out and yet it felt like I went clubbing.” It's the experience that matters not the location. Let me see which idiot bouncer will stop you from entering your own house. Hehehe.
