I took a break last month and tried OPKs again. Usually i stop on day 20 when i do get positives believing i probably didnt ovulate. Yesterday was day 21 and i just said i should test since i had nothing to lose and to my amazement it was very positive! Two very strong lines appeared. (See attached) Do this. Buy a pregnancy test strip this night. Do a test with your first morning urine. |

U r even lucky, before I gave birth, I spend 120 to the hospital everyweek, only 4 me to find out that train is just $6, imagine I get to sav $114 evrywk. I just found som1 that can take me from Queens to manhattan for $80 dollars to go process 9ja passport sinc that's the only tyn left. The best bet is to hire a car or find som1 u can split the bill with. The only lesson I learnt is neva to convert the currency rate again cos I no fit get high BP b4 I get bak to 9ja. Wow! I was extremely lucky ooo. I discovered uberpool the day I landed yankee and used it until my LO arrived. My house was 20mins from the hospital and the highest I paid was 8dollars...then uber started a promo and for about 2months I was only paying $3:12 (+$1) if dh joined me then it went even down to $3 dollars as at when I left. |

I showed DH ur baby's pix he was wowed, he said you must have religiously taken your routine drugs that's why your baby looks so beautiful with lovely skin... Bottom line is I'm now being monitored since yesterday to start taking d routine drugs religious. Lol... Thanks Dear. No be lie o, I took my prenatals religiously mehn. Total number of days i missed my drugs would be like 5days in the whole 9months journey. |

Happy independence day to my senior colleagues here o!
I came to hail una specially cos today I experienced a tiny tiny bit of motherhood.
No be beans o  . Hmm
Why I say this is cos my neighbor who is also a family friend came to drop her two toddlers for me to watch while she dashed to the market. I swept my parlour n kitchen like 3x, the one and half year girl refused to keep on her diaper so I mopped urine 3x, cleaned poo from my floor 1x, washed poo from her bum 2x, talked and shouted n smiled and petted and fed food. All within 3hours.
Hian...Na real practical I do today. I was glad to do it o but I began wondering how mothers cope. Esp those who have no helps or relatives around. Chai. I couldn't even wash my dishes cos I was afraid they might spoil something in the parlour or tumble down our balcony if I take my eyes off them for too long. I only managed to cook rice within that time!
I gat new respect for we mothers oooo. Fathers no dey see one third of what we face at home with our precious LOs.  You have done and passed your mock exam. The real deal is coming soon! |
