RomancePlease What Is The Protocol? by sugarpp(op): 6:15pm On Feb 16, 2010
My friend broke up with her fiance a few months back. It seemed like a bad break up although the detail of events is a bit sketchy but to be honest i think it is more my friend's fault than anything. Anyway her ex has been wanting to meet up with me, i have no problem with him and i think he is a nice guy so i see no problem going for a friendly coffee or whatever. However given who he is i have been avoiding the meeting giving him whatever excuse to postphone/cancel. Now he has requested we meet up again and i agreed but will this count as betraying my friend? mind you i don't know the guy's true intention but on my part i have no feelings for him what so ever, he is not my type and there is no chance of anything developing. So is it okay for me to meet up with him?
RomanceRe: He Wants Me Back by sugarpp: 6:02pm On Feb 16, 2010
i think the best thing for you is to establish the "don't go bak to exes rule". The fact is the time for him to try and resolve watever issues you guys had in the relationship was when you were crying and begging him. Think about how far you have gone in healing emotionally and now he wants to throw you off balance? he might regret his actions quite alright and trully love you but it is too late (atleast for now). Date other guys and if you feel he has more to offer you then you might start to listen to his pleas

RomanceRe: Help! Am Losing Him by sugarpp: 8:16pm On Feb 07, 2010
Wen u say it was goin smoothly how sure r u of that fact? did he ever state his level of commitment to u? did he ever use the "L" word?
Well he realy cld b busy evn if nt heavily busy he mite b stressd or jst needs space. I tend to b like that sometimes, i cn go 4 days nt tlkn 2 a guy i'm datn nt cos i dnt like him but i jst like hvn "me" time but since guys tend to take it personal i mak the extra effort to b available.
The other option is that he is losn interest n tryn 2 brk up wit ya sad whichever the case the best thing u cn do is leave him for a few days evn weeks (u hv no choice). Single life realy is nt that bad n if u r lucky u wil get to go on a few dates that u otherwise wldnt hv been able to say "yes" to wink

Get her a nice top or take her for a picnic or eatery that u kno she cnt blow ur budget. A cake n mix-CD of her fav songs is another option.
FamilyRe: How Do You Deal With An Overstaying Mother In Law by sugarpp: 11:01am On Jan 31, 2010
i think people are missing the point. She isn't sayn she hates her mother-in-law or even mind her stayn its d bossing around that is makn the mother in-law's stay unbearable. The job of the husband was to address his wife's concern but since he chose nt to then she shld find respectful means to cut the stay short. All those suggestn she shld b rude/harsh r naive n hv no understandn of the importance n influence of the mother-in-law!
FamilyRe: How Do You Deal With An Overstaying Mother In Law by sugarpp: 9:33pm On Jan 30, 2010
Invite ur mother or another family member to come n stay over u dnt evn hv 2 let ur mother-in law or husband know that u invited the family member but make sure their stay is nt objected by either by insistn it is a necessity or family emergency trust me ur mother in law will feel less comfortable dictatn especially if it is also an older family member or someone she fears/respects u invite + she will b more likely to cut her stay short grin

RomanceRe: Understanding Men (part 2) by sugarpp: 10:09am On Jan 30, 2010
Pogistega i am very OK certified mentally stable n able. What is daft is u providn examples of women reactn in a senseless manner to diffuse situations that cld b handled in more mature n sensible manner. If a guy wants to move in another woman why nt ask him what he expects from u? why nt calmly tell him u r nt happy wit the situation n look for exit options that wld pay u?
RomanceRe: Help Me Be Mr.romantic. by sugarpp: 10:02am On Jan 30, 2010

RomanceRe: Help Me Be Mr.romantic. by sugarpp: 10:00am On Jan 30, 2010
find the bury treasure game. Write different actions u wana do on notes n hide in different parts of d hse. Write out clues or draw a map of where to find them n let ur girl discover n let the action play out. wink
RomanceRe: Understanding Men (part 2) by sugarpp: 9:53am On Jan 30, 2010
@ poster enuf of all dis senseless examples! wat stops d guy bringn another womanhuh wat guarantee that the other woman wld b sensible enough to leave. No wonder Nigerian women settle for less because they hv people like u advisin them on how to be used n abused n thinkin they r fortunate! ur subject shld b understandn lowlifes nt men angry
RomanceRe: Understanding Men (part 1) by sugarpp: 9:44am On Jan 30, 2010
Pogistega:
I do not subscribe to the beastly man's attitude, but only wanted to guide the women on the proper way to react in extreem situations. The point is, fire cannot fight fire.
not every woman likes drama either but hvn said that that doesn't mean u shld bcum a doormat. Proper way 4 her 2 hv reacted wld b 2 get a locksmith to break the door open (afterall it was only 8:15pm) n then quietly walk to her room to sleep n if d man was makn noise n causin drama she shld hv packd a week worth of clothes n stayd wit a friend. Or she shld hv jst left the compound that night n slept at a hotel or at friend's n wait till the husband was out of the house break the door change the lock n let him see how it feels to b locked out.
RomanceRe: Understanding Men (part 1) by sugarpp: 9:35am On Jan 30, 2010
@ poster wat were u tryn 2 achieve wit dis intellegience-devoid post? men shld b encouraged to treat women wit respect n women shld b taught to demand that respect. If my husband shld lock me out the hse i hv tons of options but sleepin outside the hse n then rewardn his "insensitivity" with food wldnt b wat i wld choose.
Is that your own example of a happy, healthy n equal relationship tlkless of marriage? understandn men my backside!
if i were d woman i wld hv cookd him nice efo riro with dog food for extra flavour grin
BusinessRe: Suggest A Name For My Baby Shop by sugarpp: 7:50am On Jan 30, 2010
@ poster no offence but "FOLEYS HAVEN" is a bit lame. The "mummy n me" name is quite cool n i hv another suggestion "Pebbles". I hv more suggestions but i charge a fee, wink

U might want to carry a little momento of her to remember her maybe a picture of the two of you or necklace or something so that you feel u r doin something to keep her memory alive. Deepest condolence

RomanceRe: How Much Must A Man Have To Be Ready For Marriage? by sugarpp: 11:38am On Jan 15, 2010
depends on if the woman has money of her own i.e. career woman n if they want to start hvn kids immediately.
If a kid is to be delayd and the woman works then he needs to hv half of what will make comfortable yearly living for the two of them and extra towards investment. I would estimate £25k-£45 income per annum n £5k-£20k for investment n savings. In Nija terms expectations will be less ofcos maybe 1mil per annum and 200k for savings.
equate kids n u need double of everything equate house wife then triple.

Now for wedding ceremony depends on how many countries and events. Naija one shld b between 1mil-5mil, UK £10k-25k, honeymoon £3k-5k. Marriage no easy oooooooooooo
