Hi guys, so i decided to prepare something new in the house, my own weekend special 1("plaintain porridge" as learnt here.

The smell was heavenly and the taste was wow

I had some cooked gizzard in the fridge so i added it.

Well, not food but homemade lemon oil (which is actually lemon infused oil). #DoItYourself: Wash your lemons (got 6 for 200 naira) and peel the back gently. Be careful to avoid the whitish part such that your lemon peel is green or yellow depending on the colour of the lemon used. Pour in an airtight container and add any oil of your choice as a base (i used Goya olive oil gotten for 300 naira). Cover and leave for about 7 days in a cool, dry place (the scent afterafterwards is AMAZING!). Seive out the lemon peel and your lemon oil is ready!

Unripe Plantain with melon (Anyu) sauce.
Twas yummy!
Though I am not a big fan of unripe plantain, I prefere it a little ripe and not too ripe. But this one was really good.
