Tell that to your political party and all other political parties in Nigeria.

brilliant post, now lists electricity power stations under the current, refineries under this current government.

PDP was a failure and APC extended that failure.

We are seeing coups across West Africa ...is Nigeria next

We had public execution through the 70s and 80s and it didn't stop crime. The problem is law enforcement to many people gets away with criminal activities starting with Nigeria elected officials.

This is the mindset of the average Nigerian politician. You are the boss after the election, free to steal and lie. I thought politicians are public servants elected to serve the country and people.

“If you are contesting an election, a mechanic is your boss. A market woman is your boss if you are contesting an election. Even students who are like your grandchildren are your boss when you are seeking for votes”.

“It is after you have contested and won that you are their boss. Before you get to the position, you have to kneel down for everybody and beg them to support”.

You're the one getting it all wrong with your analysis. Check how much pms is sold in other oil producing nations Vis-à-vis their earning power. We pay really high for it.

And saying the only benefits of refining ourselves is saving us forex means you have no idea of the cost components of petroleum products.

Nigerians are already poor through our earnings. If we want to measure up internationally then wages and salaries have to reflect same. If not, we're moments away from Doomsdays. What do you think is fuelling kidnapping and ritual killings?
We are already in Doomdays, kidnapping, ritual killing and other crimes are the basic symptoms of a failed nation. With 50% of Nigerians living in extreme poverty and sky-high inflation, all that remains is anarchy.

Nigeria political class cannot be bothered, imagine the likes of Tinubu saying that they will continue with Buhari's policies.

Really?
The first priority should be fixing the three refineries owned by the Nigerian government, why has it taken the government 6 years to consider fixing the government refineries that have already consumed $9.6 billion in maintenance and salary.

BUA has not laid a single brick for the BUA oil refinery, they are still at the planning stage. The modular refineries will suffer the same supply issue that the country is facing with the gas supply to the electric power plants.

We need to call out incompetence and corruption, Buhari said in 2011 that oil subsidies is corruption, it's now 2022. Buhari is now the Minister of Petroleum and Nigeria still has oil subsidies...what is Buhari?

Where was Toyota when Peugeot was king? Toyota was not even a Prince. Where is Peugeot in this 21st century when Toyota is king? Peugeot is not even a gateman..... drowning and struggling to keep afloat ... and that is the one we have chosen help is out. Like you said... why not Toyota?... or even Kis? The people making these decisions are mentally stuck in the 20th century.... seeing the world as if we're in the 1980's. A d we wonder why we are where we are today ... stuck in the mud.
Toyota Corolla/Corona and Datsun 120y were always the dominant cars in Nigeria in the 70s and 80s because of their very low maintenance. Peug 404 that was manufactured by UAC was used mostly as a pickup and delivery vehicle, until 1978 when OBJ made Peugeot the national; car for all government agencies.

Peugeot, never increase local content beyond 10% despite government support, this meant that Peugeot was not competitive in the 1990s considering the cost of a CKD engine cost 40% of the entire vehicle, it is cheaper to import used vehicles than build in Nigeria.

Nigeria must focus on developing the automotive supply chain, ports, roads, skilled personnel, steel plants, aluminium, plastic, rubber, petrochemical and governance policies.

Therefore Umahi/Zulum should be APC candidates for 2023 presidential elections.

Because after Obasanjo’s 8 years presidency...

And Osinbajo’s likely 8 years as Vice President, another Southwesterner has no business around the presidency.

And that’s why this idiot below should never been given a chance because he and his sea of social irritants do not mean well for Nigeria.

I think it is wrong for the Ethiopian government to say that the WHO director general Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus should not assist his homeland

What do you expect him to do?

Watch his people and see them dying just because he is world health director general?

Even if it is a European that happens to be in the position of the WHO director general Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus that European man or woman will still help his people.

So the Ethiopian government should stop being naughty.

What is stopping President Abiy of Ethiopia from even organizing a referendum for Tigray?

The Nigeria government also have problems managing it's diversity. The federal government of Nigeria is suppressing ethnic nationilities from not seeking for autonomy or outright independence.

.
The Tigray leadership is the problem, just like the Nigerian Fulani's they cannot accept that they have lost power.

Buharinomics economy has hit them!

The excuse of course is digital banking expansion, lie lie. You don’t close physical branches, you still need your brick and mortar stores to keep your brand on the minds of everyday business people. Banks abroad have branches all over, but in those branches, you may see less than 5 people in a whole branch. They are there for a reason, it's part of advertising. They are even buying properties on the metaverse now to continue advertising
Are you aware that there are now many banks that have never opened a physical branch?

In the UK

Starling Bank is a digital challenger bank based in the United Kingdom, which focuses on current and business account products. Headquartered in London, Starling Bank is a licensed and regulated bank, founded by former Allied Irish Banks COO, Anne Boden, in January 2014. Wikipedia

"Two days after seizing power from N’Daw, Goita declared himself president."

Where in the world has a military administration ever managed a country successfully?

Nigeria has 40 years of military leadership, and not a single road was built. There was no clean drinking in Nigeria during military rule. Electricity was in terrible state. Unemployment went skyrocketed. Inflation was at all-time high. We saw similar thing in Ghana during their military rule. Same in Liberia, Gambia and much more.

So, the notion that Goita would replace civilian elected government is really stupid. He needs to take down and be replaced by a truly elected civilian government, ASAP.
You are ignorant and stupid. The majority of Nigerians development, roads and bridges were built by the military. The military didn't start and end with Abacha and IBB.
CrimeRe: Bandits: Katsina Man Removes House Roof To Pay Son’s Ransom (Photos) by sulaak(m): 3:48pm On Jan 09, 2022
eldoradoxx:
The bandits of today are the Almajiri children that the North abandoned 10-20 years ago when they were young to like their Southern counterparts get education or learn skills.
I have said it over and over again, the Northern system is the fertilizer that banditry and terrorism needs to grow very fast. A system that permits a poor man with only dickk to marry 4 wives and breed 28 children most of whom he ships off to far places at 6 years old to learn nothing else but religion in a tech world is a recipe for what North is harvesting today. I just pity the South whose resources is been depleted to fight an aimless religious war on those whom the North taught nothing than religion through the Almajiri. While the Southern poor struggles to do everything to ensure that his children are better educated, or empowered through skill acquisition etc, the Northern poor is busy propagating the gospel of procreation of children who end up as burden to all of us.
They said IPOB is a terrorist organization just like the bandits and boko haram of the North. But look at IPOB terror and compare it to boko haram/ bandit terror and u see that even in criminality, the society one is raised matters in how he goes about his criminality. While IPOB, the Eastern terror group (as described by Buhari) does not take their people hostage in kidnapping, do not massacre their people, the bandits of the North do all these to their own people. The question is why? The answer is not far fetched. Perhaps the IPOB terrorist ( according to Buhari and Malami) were raised in homes by parents, they got some level of modern education and cannot be as heartless, evil and demonic as the Boko Haram and bandit terrorists who lacked all these attributes.
The summary of my epistle is that the North needs to review how they raise their kids. There are millions and millions of abandoned children all potential terrorists and bandits roaming the streets and towns in the North, nobody cares for them. They are the principal suppliers of those footsoldiers in bandit and terror operations across the North.
In the words DR. HAKEEM BABA AHMED we the North of got the numbers?
