I knew it was all lies.

If truly those pipo were sent to disrupt the protest, they would have been in town since yesterday or even days before.

The agenda has always been to make people see the north as the enemy..

This is not good for our country, aswearugad
The North are their biggest enemy.

The South must be vigilant and if it means stereotyping all Northerners as terrorist or bandit, so be it. It is better to be safe than sorry.
Let the North start protesting against violence. The South, have been doing all the work for democracy, we campaigned against IBB, Abacha, and now Buhari while the North sat on their ass

Forest are major assets, destroying the last remaining rainforest in West Africa is not an achievement but a complete failure.

Eco-tourism will create more job than a factory and at the same time boost Nigeria assets and environment. Ask the Chinese that have improve their reforestation programme in China and at the same increase their logging activities in Africa.

Under OBJ
Yet OBJ /Iwealla were able to clear the debt, increase foreign reserve to $60 billion and established the $38 billion oil saving.

I agree with you to some extent. But Nigeria has already secured a 3billion dollar financing for the eastern railway project which starts from Port Harcourt and will pass through many eastern cities. A deep Bonny seaport is part of the deal.

The same CECC company that built Lagos Ibadan project is already working on the eastern rail project.

The road block is the east west railway project that will link lagos to calabar, it will pass through west to south south states and port harcourt then ends in Calabar.

I think the senate has not given the go-ahead for the loan financing.
If Lagos can build the blue line, I see no reason the 17 Southern states cannot leverage the finance and resources to build the Southern lines. We need to start holding these state governor to account, especially now that Nigeria has an incompetent president, the state needs to step up their game.

Look Buhari is stern no doubt but he is a highly objective person.
My father told me his own dad wept when Buhari was booted out in 1985.
He said Nigerians love easy ways but there are no easy ways, he said easy ways are dead ends, no way forward.
He said Nigerians will regret it, he described the situation as a great loss to the country.
He said Jawaharlal Nehru was also hated in India, for his anti importation stance, especially on vehicles.
My grand father died 20 years ago, but he was dead right.
What an elder sees sitting on a mat, a child will never see it even if he climbs a mast.
Look at all the money that Nigeria made and squandered between 1985 and 2015.
Take a pen, calculate and see, and wonder why the country is still classified as underdevelope?.
It is the citizens who are lacking in focus, work now and rest later, but Nigerians prefer to rest now and work later.
This is why there's so much suffering in the land now, and the man that they wailed and cried to push out is now back, to do what should have been done and dusted.
Let's thank God he is still alive to do a little, how many years does he have left to enjoy some of the things he is now putting in place for this country?.
The so called saner climes are today enjoying what great men of their countries, put in place for their unborn country men.
Regardless of the circumstances and the situation, an objective person will find a means by which he or she will achieve a set objective.
Objectivity and the will to achieve it, is what makes the difference.
Thank you GMB.
Thousand of Nigerians are being killed by Fulani's herdsmen and the presidency has the audacity to say that the old grazing route created in 1963 should be revised.

Nigeria celebrated when Buhari was removed, the real man ruling Nigeria was Idiagbon and he was in Mecca while that fool got himself overthrown and locked up.

Although true he said that, but I feel punch is emphasising the sensational part over the economic reason he provided which is a fair point.

Niger has no access to the sea and if Nigeria gets its act together infrastructurallyn, we will be the preferred route for Nigerien oil (and uranium). Imagine the attendant jobs and revenue that will accrue to Nigeria as a result of this. Not to speak of the geopolitical influence.

China is currently reviving the ancient silk road that connected East Asia and Southeast Asia with South Asia, Persia, the Arabian Peninsula, East Africa and Southern Europe through road constructions, seaport development, railways etc. in central Asia countries, Pakistan, Iran and even Europe (read about it)

If Nigeria were to get her acts right we should be reviving the ancient trans-Sahara trate routes strategically building influence in the countries that currently occupy those routes (Timbuktu, Agades, Tripoli etc) non of these North African countries or middle eastern countries would have "nothing on us". But we are to busy fighting ourselves to see the potential in ourselves
I have no problem connecting Niger and Chad to Nigeria rail infrastructures, I think it's a good idea, but the first priority of a nation is its economic well-being, connecting Calabar to Lagos will link the industrialized South-West (Lagos and OgunState) with the commercial South East and the Oil producing South-South, thereby creating an industrial corridor of the South that can leverage those disparate industrial sectors.

I will suggest that the 17 states of the South work together and contribute the funds to build the rail infrastructure themselves because I don't see this government building any major infrastructure that will integrate the South.

I have been studying development programmes in Bangladesh, Malaysia and Taiwan, what the majority of those countries had in common was long term planning in investment in education, health care, security and strong government support for industrial development. Most important was the development of indigenous development strategy based on the above policies.

They didn't build expensive steel plants and power stations that don't work.

Here is a country that is building a railway network using Chinese loans, Chinese steel, Chinese management and Chinese made trains stocks. What happens when the train rails need replacing or the train stop working? Do we call the Chinese, like Zambia did when Tanzam collapsed due to lack of spare parts?

Why did the previous rail network fail in the 1980s?

The Twitter ban is in anticipation of the 2023 election, they have witnessed the effectiveness of Twitter during the #Ensars movement. NBC crackdown on newspaper and radio station, Twitter. Buhari 6 years in government yet there is no evidence of electronic voting being rolled out to avoid election rigging.

APC/PDP intend to rig the life out of the 2023 election both parties have lost any credibility to govern Nigeria.

I just do not agree it is their fault. Consider Buhari, he contested elections four times before he was able to win. Why do we want to blame such person for dominating?

Take for example. Why is it that Christian's in the North don't make serious effort like this to run for election? Abi they can not lobby and cajole Christian's in the south?

The problem is people don't want to do the work of networking, and sacrificing their immediate enjoyment for long term agenda. This is the kind of argument women make when they want a position to be given to them.

Other people that want to dominate will have to do the dirty work too. Have a course, stay the course even when losing.
I think you are missing the point, my argument was that Fulani dominates the Northern political landscape as against Farooq misleading article.

On the subject of envying Fulani political and feudal power, that is far from the truth. I am a victim of Fulani's feudal domination not because it's improving my community in the south but because Fulani's political domination has created an atmosphere of extreme poverty and instability in Northern Nigeria due to their policies of the introduction of political Shariah law, Aljamiri education, Quotas systems, Fulani herdsmen and other policies that have created an impoverished and uneducated society.

The North is placing tremendous economic, environmental pressure on the South especially with the ongoing Fulani herdsmen and militant insurgency, I doubt any Southerner is envious of the Fulani's consider their newfound status as killer herdsmen.

Politics › Re: Fulanisation Of The North By The South by sulaak(m): 6:17am On Jun 07, 2021
Farooq, this is a poor article, it paints all Southerners as monolithic in their outlook..........but Fulani dominates the political landscape in the North.

The Fulani domination is feudal in orientation and directly linked to the Sokoto and Adamawa empire of the 1800s, all Emirs are of Fulani descent, the Sokoto Sultanate has always been ruled by a Fulani, majority of the Governors are Fulani and Nigeria has had 3 Fulani president and 1 Fulani prime minister no other ethnic group in the North can compete with Fulani political domination.

The most ardent supporters don't have to speak fulfulde to be Fulani Nationalist.

Though they were skilled warriors, they obtained dominance over the resident Hutu through a slow and largely peaceful infiltration. The Tutsi established a feudal relationship with the Hutu, gaining dominance due to their possession of cattle and their more advanced knowledge of warfare.https://www.britannica.com/topic/Tutsi

You see, someone suggested that I do a review of Crowwe for fun (like we do in this series) and I thought it was a good idea. So I went to the app store to download it when I decided to check out the reviews. You guys, the reviews I saw had me like:

That is how the direction of this week’s instalment of “So You Don’t Have To” came to be about me sifting through the Croww app’s worst reviews and bringing you the funniest ones.

Let’s start with Bode, who thinks that the app’s logo looks like the logo for ISIS.

He also thinks the dashboard looks fraudulent. I laughed till I cried.

Oreoluwa calls the app a terrible knockoff of Twitter, Instagram, and WhatsApp with a picture quality so shitty that looking at it is like watching a snuff film on NTA.

She mentioned the picture quality twice so you know it’s really bad.

Austin is convinced that the app is lowkey being used to recruit members for terrorist organisations.

Damn.

Igy says that the app turns phones into one of those hot stones they use for massages.

Or a literal time bomb.

Fache claims the app gave him a plethora of infectious diseases.

Even the Hantavirushuh

Eunice says the app’s very existence is creating holes in the ozone layer.

Shoutout to Eunice for looking out for the environment.

Olalekan says that this app is the best way to have the EFCC knocking down your door.

It sets you up AND jails you? It really do be your own app.

According to Pelumi, the app looks like it was designed by a child.

This makes me imagine a sick Victorian-era child sitting in front of a computer and I am wheezing.

Precious says the app destroyed a transformer in his area.

My prayers go out to Precious in this (literal) dark time.

Bennette is upset that the app keeps attacking people with porn ads. Kinda like that one episode of Black Mirror starring Daniel Kaluuya.

Imagine using the app in public and a very loud ad for “Backdoor Sluts 9: Brianna’s Revenge” starts playing.

Chizor says that this app is responsible for giving President Buhari arthritis and destroying his ears.

Well, that one guy did claim that the antichrist will be an artificially intelligent robot. Could this app be that?

In the sea of negative reviews, I found a few good ones. Without commentary, here are 10 good reviews I found. See if you can spot a pattern.
